The lunch special made my husband’s experience awesome! $ 21.99 for all you can eat sushi? Why not! The atmosphere and wait staff were great, as usual. I ordered miso soup(decent), vegetable tempura(fried goodness), cucumber rolls(yummy!), and tofu with garlic sauce(tasty!). They are pretty much on par with other sushi places in the area. My husband ordered so much sushi it definitely made the lunch special worth it. We both left stuffed and happy. We will be back.

Update because I’m a regular here :) my boyfriend and I ordered a total of 7 rolls and 7 pieces of nigiri all expertly crafted with a gorgeous presentation. I swear the sushi gets better and better with every visit. :^) We ordered two rolls of spicy crabstick, the butterfly roll, the tiger roll, dragon roll, and eel avovado and it’s all you can eat till 2:30pm BD My server Grace was a complete sweetheart and one of the best waitresses here. She seemed new but she did great and always made sure my tea cup was full ^-^ by the way… Woow has excellent green tea. It’s 2.50 but free refills :) it’s a tea lover’s dream with its roasted undertones and nutty flavor. Very good qualiTEA.

Horrible. There was no longer the free Edamame that the other reviews espoused, the fish was not fresh, the best part was the Crab Rangoon. Do not come here for sushi like I mistakenly did.

I have visited WooW about five times with my boyfriend and had takeout about another five times. My favorite is definitely the Volcano Roll: the best I’ve seen and tasted out of any restaurants. It is brought out with overflowing dry ice. Thei sushi has amazing presentation which fits the edgy, modern, yet romantic ambiance of the place. Most of their customers are dating couples. Its a perfect date– night destination. Before I moved, we used to come around once a week. The free edamame is also a nice touch: many restaurants do not do this. The food comes out fairly quickly, like a work of art, and the waiters are always great at presentation. I also noticed(I have visited many Sushi restaurants all over) their sushi roll size and freshness is much better and priceworthy in comparison to other places. For the amount that I pay for five rolls at Woow, I would get three and a half rolls elsewhere. I also love the uniform of the waitresses: super cute yet classy. I hope to return soon. Also, I believe they have two other locations: one of them on La Grange road in Orland Park which does not compare in ambiance nor the Sushi taste, size, or quality. In fact, their Orland Park location sucks in comparison. Go to La Grange for the WOW factor.

The rolls were decent, Godzilla is always one of my faves. They did a great job. Décor is nice and they have a tv by the bar. What this place is lacking is customer service. Terrible. Waited about 15 minutes before anyone talked to me. Besides the busboy, which was very nice. This is not the first time they have ignored me like this. So I’m done with this place. I don’t like to feel ignored, I like to feel welcomed in an establishment.

The food was decent but the service was just disappointing. The waitress only came to take our order and we haven’t seen her since. Literally, I am writing this review from the table where our dirty plate still sit after more than an hour or not seeing our waitress. We got here at 2:30pm its 4:15 now. Our waitress seems to have disappeared in thin air. Finally another man gave us our check. Servers name was Lydia. We used to come to wow a lot. I dont think that we will be back. Go to Mizu in Orland instead. Great service, great food.

Doesn’t come even close to butterfly sushi … Not even 2% sorry. Sushi was warm and bland and had a bad texture

I recently had lunch here on a week day. The sushi was good with beautiful presentation. The rolls were served on these long plates… which was a little odd fitting them all on the table. The overall taste was good. I tried this one roll that was wrapped in a cucumber rather than rice and nori. It was unique but a little challenging to eat. This place was EMPTY for lunch on a week day. So strange. But I have heard it is packed in the evenings. I was completely surprised by the trendy décor in this place. It was so cute. I highly suggest for a date night or girls night.

I came here to celebrate my 25th birthday for lunch with my dad. I had been in the mood for sushi and hadn’t yet tried Woow, a local place about which I had heard great things. It’s located very conveniently on La Grange Road, right in the heart of downtown La Grange. The sushi I got was decent and maybe even better than I expected for a small, unassuming place in La Grange. However, the service was a little bit lacking. Our water glasses were not particularly well-attended to and no one ever came to check in with us to see how we were doing. Something that bothered me a little bit more was that there were tons of staff sitting at the table, eating, on their phones, chatting, and they all stared at me when I walked by to use the bathroom. I get that it was kind of an off time to eat lunch and that we were the only customers in the entire restaurant, but it felt a little weird and unprofessional. I will say that I really love the attention to detail in the décor. It’s a great combination of modern and traditional décor. Overall, this was a great experience on my quarter century with my dad for my birthday. I enjoyed eating sushi(which he had never had before!) and chatting with my dad, so it made for a great experience. However, the staff there did not necessarily contribute to making this a great experience for their customers and also did not even acknowledge my birthday even though they knew.(That part definitely wasn’t a big deal. I’m not one of those people who expects things for my birthday! Just a smile and«Happy Birthday» would have been more than enough.) I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to come here again, but I definitely wouldn’t mind it. As I said, the sushi is pretty darn good and the atmosphere is really cool. I would venture to guess that during more prime hours, like 6:30PM on a Saturday, this place is filled with people and the awkwardness of the workers sitting around with nothing to do would not exist.

If i could give 0 stars 1 would. This was not our first time here but unfortunately it may be our last. What started as a nice birthday dinner ended when the busboy decided to go after a waiter cursing in front of the customers. The busboy then tries to justify his actions to other customers but regardless that is not the type of atmosphere I want to be in. Our waitress didn’t even make an attempt to say sorry for what we experienced. Just asked if we wanted to needed anything. It’s sad as the food was wonderful but if this is something we may encounter again in think we’ll pass and just go someplace else.

I am completely disturbed with this place. In the past I have eaten here so many times and I almost gag thinking about it now. Today 5÷9÷15 I came into eat with my sister and it took over 15 minutes to even get water. No waitress to be seen so I decided to go to the bathroom… and I walk in and there is a dead cockroach laying on the floor. I told a worker walking around and he seemed alarmed and did apologize but we walked right out. I will never go back and I almost felt like announcing it to the whole restaurant because I was so grossed out and no longer had any appetite. THANKGOD I seen the cockroach before I ate the food. Too bad because I did like the food there but I will never be back and I don’t think anyone should ever go there. It is dirty and horrible service. ANDYOUMIGHTFIND A COCKROACHINYOURFOOD.

I would eat here every day if I could afford it. Presentation is great, selection is huge, and the premises has fantastic ambience. The Red Dragon Roll and Spider Roll are my favorite.

The sushi is too saucy. We are a party of 10 and it took over an hour and half to get the food. And when the food came it came out individually that I didn’t get my food until everyone else was almost done. Dinner ended and after 40 minutes our dirty plates were still in front of us. The waitress never came to check on us after meals were given and never offered dessert. When she finally did come around we asked for dessert menu and she had already offered the bill. She got one menu for 12 people. We told her it was someone’s birthday and she did come back and ask who the bday person was so she can comp the dessert, which was nice. But overall experience was poor and the dinner was mediocre at best. In fact, it’s almost 10 pm. We have been here 3 hours and just ordered the dessert. I’m sure the waitress is nice, she seems sweet. she’s just not a good waitress.

I work at a Sushi restaurant downtown so of course I’m judgmental when I come to other sushi restaurants. For starters the server wasn’t helpful, she couldn’t accommodate something for me to eat or even give me a list of recommendations. Secondly, the music here makes me want to go to sleep. It’s 6pm people should be out and about but there’s three tables here. Lastly, my plate wasn’t clean, when I grabbed my plate I could feel scum on the bottom of my plate. I’m not going to be all negative here, the layout and furniture here is very nice, and the presentation of the food is beautiful. The cleanliness of the plate is was irked me, I’m here with two friends and their plates are also dirty. NEED better servers as well, the place isn’t lively.

My friend and I grabbed a late dinner here after spending the night painting at Bottle & Bottega around the corner. We got seated right away and I fell in love with the setting of the restaurant immediately. We were seated by the window and there were zebra and leopard prints on the wall with beautiful red crystal lights on the ceiling. Surprisingly, there were not that many parties in the restaurant with us. Initially, we ordered the golden dragon roll and godzilla roll and drinks. I got the white peach and it was really yummy, albeit, a very weak drink. Edemame came out for us to munch on while we waited for our rolls. The 2 rolls came out on a big plate with dry ice, colorful light changing display. I enjoyed both of the rolls. The golden dragon roll had cool gold specks on it and the godzilla had this sauce that reminded me of sweet and sour chili. We were still a little hungry so we ordered 1 more roll, the fire roll. This one came out with a flaming fire hot display. I love filet mignon but the filet mignon they use to wrap the roll tasted old and stale. I was kind of grossed out by didn’t want to waste food. It was also the most expensive roll on the menu. I would suggest to avoid the fire roll. After you are done, they bring out honeydew as refreshments! Overall, I am really surprised on how this business isn’t that crowded and popping on a Friday night. It has all aspects of a great date night or big celebration dinner for all that are craving sushi. They also offer plates of noodles and other Asian dishes if you or someone in your group does not want to eat sushi.

Picked up for lunch — talk about a SEXY restaurant! I felt like I should have been in heels when I walked in. The décor is über sexy, trendy, modern… Sushi was awesome, you can’t beat the lunch special but next time I def want to do the lunch $ 21 All you Can Eat and enjoy the ambience. Already planning a Happy Hour for after work. Def want to try their other locations

I was surprised at how nice this restaurant is — it’s got an elegant feel — nice place for a date night for sure. We came here on a week night for a late dinner — got in at 8:30 and the restaurant closed at 9:30pm. We didn’t think we’d have enough time, but service was quick(could be friendlier, however) and we even had time to have a few drinks. The rolls are fresh and delicious. The seaweed salad was very good, too. I highly recommend the Godzilla roll. I believe they offer daily specials. I definitely am coming back.
