I believe it is actually«Card$marT» not«Card Mart»… but anyway… I’ll admit it, I hesitated going in to this little store for many years because it just looks like a temporary type of business with a generic name. But finally I gave up the ghost and went inside(mainly at the urging of a friend). YES!!! This is a wonderful card and gift shop! And it’s been in this location for many years(like, probably about 20 now), so it’s obviously not temporary! I believe the couple that run the place are husband and wife, but maybe not… either way, they are extremely friendly and very helpful. Like«visiting a neighbor» friendly! Once I stopped in and experienced it, I kept going back! Loads of card and stationary selections and at discount prices. Scattered all around the store you will find quite a variety of gift ideas as well. There are sport team items; blankets, koozies, pillows, lanyards and collectables. Trinkets, toys, balloons, souvenirs, ornaments and ideas galore! Basically, if you think about your typical Hallmark store, this is about the same although I like the feel and the mix of choices at CARD$MART much better… plus, you can’t beat the service! Their signs say they also offer notary services, fax, engraving and trophies. So, I’ve only stopped in a time or two(or 4) but I have it keyed in as my go-to card shop now. I have had a «wow» moment each time I’ve shopped… and I’m a sucker for cool items, so I have left not only with the card(s) that I went in to purchase but also a fun gift for someone or treat for myself.
