Samples provided, toppings are generous and it’s quality frozen yogurt. Also the prices are very reasonable. Plus, it is a small family run business & fun atmosphere with a friendly owner. It is the perfect after dinner treat for me and my boyfriend when we are walking around La Jolla after dinner(my boyfriends favorite dessert is frozen yogurt and this is his favorite place to get it). Great place to try for dessert in the area & they also provide frozen yogurt to go which you can keep in your freezer for a later date.

Loved the place! Cute kid friendly atmosphere. The yogurt was delicious along with the toppings. There were many sizes to choose from and could get many flavors also! :) I went all out. Definitely going back again.

Worst yogurt place I’ve ever been too. There were only five flavors. The selections were behind the counter, not serve yourself so if you ask for a little bit of this, it depends on what the server deems a little bit. The red velvet tasted horrible like chemicals. My husband said he felt like he was being poisoned and now has a stomach ache. I feel the same, only it’s a bloated feeling.

This is not your usual chain-style frozen yogurt place. The owners serve you personally, they are nice, the yogurt has great flavor and it’s cheaper than many others I have tried. When I first stepped in, I was a bit disappointed seeing that it is not self-serve; you have to choose the flavors, the toppings, and they will put it together for you. This could have been a minus star, because I am the kind of person who adds 10 different toppings, each of them in minuscule amount, and I could not do that here, for obvious reasons. Plus, you don’t really see well what toppings they have because they are a bit«hidden» behind the counter, so it’s easy to miss something you may like. However, they still deserve 5 stars because of the quality, the kind service, and the fact that the owner’s wife offered to refill the toppings(for free) while I was mid-way into my cup. Recommended if you are in the area.

Amazing yogurt, it was really delicious! I tried the original tart & the peanut butter flavors, they were on point! Amazing service! I think I met the owner & he was very generous! Gave me a bunch of extra toppings for freeI loved it! Definitely coming back for it!

Hmm, this one is tough because I love Fro Yo so much. I think they need to step it up in the flavor department. Although there are many different topping options, something seems so run down here. With all of the now self serve stores, it’s different to have someone make yours for you and mix the flavors as you wish. I do like that they put toppings on the bottom as well on the top just like Golden Spoon. They also sell alot of other stuff in there. It just seems crowded with things, ads, and stuff and makes it feel unorganized and dirty. Not my first choice when in LJ.

We came in for frozen yogurt and left with happy heads and bellies. Ice cream aficionado, Zen, provided professional, friendly, and knowledgeable service. Thanks for a great experience!

Truly delicious frozen yogurt with generous and tasty toppings served by the very friendly owner in this adorable little shop. High quality biodegradable spoons as well, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend, the toffee crunch topping was fantastic. 20% discount for students

Good little place to visit after checking out the beach and some really cute water mammals. Toppings were generous, yogurt was as expected. I would recommend if you are in La Jolla. Really cute frog décor, I imagine kids love this décor. It also has its own parking are in the back. Win.

Pretty decent yogurt and very affordable but be careful what size you get because it’s tough to eat it all, even at the smallest size.

How cute of a place is this! We came off the beach with a sincere craving for frozen yogurt and Froglanders hit the spot. There are three sizes to choose from and about 8 to 10 flavors available at a time. The nice man at the counter generously offers you samples to taste before you make your decision as well. The prices here, even though you are in La Jolla, are much more reasonable than any other place you have probably been to in San Diego. They offer a variety of toppings as well. You can sit inside with the cute froggy decore or there are tables out on the patio under umbrellas to enjoy our great Southern California weather.

Great price, great quality yogurt. They are much less than Golden Spoon per ounce. Socially conscious too. Owner pays extra for biodegradable supplies. If you have a favorite flavor, they’ll even call you when it comes in.

Delicious and affordable froyo. This is not your typical place where it’s self-serve, there’s someone behind the counter to serve it to you. But don’t fret — portions are good and there’s no skimping! They had about six or seven flavors, but I went the regular tart with chocolate sprinkles. Mmm, now I love the trick the guy did and that’s put toppings on the bottom! That’s the right before you put some yogurt in the cup — put some on the bottom so when you get to the end of your now probably melted froyo you have toppings to enjoy! YAY! I’d definitely come back here if I was in the area.

I just went for my first time and it’s now my fav yogurt shop, ever. Good selection of flavors, ORGANIC frozen yogurt favor so kids aren’t eating high fructose corn syrup they said, no styrofoam, biodegradable spoons, cute quotes on the wall, friendly staff and very inexpensive. Check it out!

It’s refreshing to get fro-yo that is not from a pinkberry or yogurtland or another fro-yo chain. Tried the sea salt caramel pretzel which I’ve never seen elsewhere, and it was a hit. I can’t believe it’s frozen yogurt. Creamy, not overly sweet and I didn’t taste the artificial flavors some yogurts tend to have. Another good flavor– the irish mint. I love my mint and theirs did not disappoint. They let you mix different flavors in one cup so you don’t have to just choose one flavor. The owner is extremely friendly and even stopped by to give us a cup full of pink lemonade yogurt just to try. Talk about great service. They also had peanut butter, tart and all the other more typical flavors too if you’re not into the«weirder» flavors. Also, lots of toppings to choose from and cup sizes. I think you get value from the 2nd one from the smallest :)

this place just doesn’t make sense. I mean you walk in and you feel like you entered the twilight zone… I was craving froyo the other night and my roommate and I decided to do some exploring. Unilocaler’s talk about how great the frozen yogurt is, and don’t get me wrong, it was damn great, but everyone forgot to mention how BIZARRE this place feels. Located in the heart of upscale, pompous, DT La Jolla, you walk into an ice cream shop that feels outdated and decorated by a blindfolded 7 year old decorating an Easter egg. I mean, it was definitely an experience. NONETHELESS, the frozen yogurt itself is good quality. Not the best toppings as they look like they’ve been sitting out for a while, but the fruits were okay.

Stumbled across this place while walking around Hillcrest on a Sunday and decided to share a cup of froyo on a hot day. This place is definitely the cutest mom and pop froyo place I’ve seen in a while. If you get tired of going to the very chainy Pinkberry or Yogurtland then come to this place! The owners are extremely nice and seem to genuinely enjoy your business. When we arrived their was a group of parents with their kids watching Hook(my all-time favorite movie btw) on the flatscreen. This along with the local art on the walls makes this place seem very connected to the neighborhood. As for the yogurt it was pretty tasty, and I loaded it up with a bunch of treats. Toppings include anything at a regular frozen yogurt place, and their yogurt is mostly sugar free.
