I am so impressed with Holistic Traditions. A simple, clean, sweet location with easy to find parking. Thavy game me the most incredible assessment and personalized massage I’ve ever had. I immediately booked more. I am having pain due to an unstable SI joint, and Thavy was quick to see which muscles had tightened and ewe contributing to the pain. She methodically moved through each muscle group and told me what I can do at home to help loosen the muscles and be part of the solution too, I look forward to having her work on me again. And, BTW, I. Addition to her intuitive touch, A bit of aromatherapy and hot towels made this both a therapeutic AND spa treatment. THE best!

Thavy was especially accommodating and made my massage experience excellent. I was able to relax. The essential oils she used are very soothing let alone the incredible massage. I have sciatica and she was able to target areas that are affected by sciatica. She seemed very knowledgable I would recommend her to anyone. The perfect gift for someone who needs some much needed RNR. I will be back soon!

Diane is by far the best acupuncturist I’ve seen. Last October, I broke my foot. The nerve under my foot was so inflamed I couldn’t even stand on it. Diane not only used acupuncture to help me, but she incorporated the use of a cold laser to help speed up the recovery process.
I highly recommend Diane. She’s friendly and a knowledgeable professional that really knows her craft.

I should start by saying that I had one previous experience with acupuncture before I was introduced to Sara, and it was very negative. So it was with hesitation that I decided to see her on the recommendation of a trusted friend — who btw also did not use acupuncture before seeing Sara — for an ailing back. That was over 3 years ago. I can unequivocally say that she is one of the best healthcare providers that I’ve ever been treated by. I can’t say enough about her and her thoughtful practice. I’ve had my share of massages, but Aaron is outstanding. He knows right away what’s ailing you and the best treatment approach. I’ve also received a few accupunture treatments from Sara. She’s definitely more than just someone who does accupunture. She’s a healer. I highly recommend services at Holistic Traditions to everyone. By the way, their current address is 7532 La Jolla Blvd.

Several years ago my husband threw his back out by basically bending over. A friend recommended he try acupuncture and visit Sara at Holistic Traditions. In just two treatments my husband’s back was back to normal. Since then, both he and I have been treated by Sara for pain relief. Sara is terrific! She is knowledgeable and skilled and has a true passion for her work.

I have been a patient of Holistic Traditions for about 4 years. Sara Sas is an amazing acupuncturist… high energy, funny and can read me like a book. Since I have been receiving regular acupuncture treatments my health has improved, my body manages stress much better and some chronic pain is gone. I love leaving every treatment in the «acupuncture zone».
Aaron Sas has been my massage therapist for just as long. He is strong yet gentle and has a great spirit. A great guy and a great massage therapist.
The ultimate is having treatments from both Sara and Aaron in one day. I float out of there. They are such great people as is everyone at Holistic Traditions. Great location, great vibe!

I’m basing this review on the chair massages that I get at the La Jolla Farmers’ Market every Sunday.
I’ve had 3 massages from the people here. 2 were from Diane and 1 was from 1 of her partners. I definitely feel more at ease with Diane. She’s very friendly, which I think is important when you’re in the relaxation business. Don’t get me wrong; there’s nothing wrong with the other lady, but Diane just seems to have more of a relaxing, friendly demeanor.
Chair massages are priced at a dollar a minute, which I find very reasonable. (I always tip, which is the polite thing to do.) Diane is incredible at finding pressure points and also just loosening up muscles in general. I felt a tingle all over my body (in a good way!) when she massaged my neck! Diane is also schooled in acupuncture, which I have yet to try, as I usually only see her at the farmers’ market, where she does massages to promote her business.
Whether you’re at the La Jolla Open Aire Market, or you want to check out the check out the actual Holistic Traditions storefront, I’d definitely suggest seeing if Diane is available. With Diane, you’re in good hands. I always leave her booth smiling, happy, and relaxed.

I have been going here for massage for years. Aaron Sas is great. I haven’t tried the acupuncture here but the massage experience is really good. He’ll customize for you and is trained in pregnancy massage as well.

Absolutely one of the best massages I have ever received. My massage therapist was Edwin. Although the venue itself was not the typical day spa I prefer, the massage I received from Edwin was amazing! I used a Mind Body Partnership certificate. You can get 4 spa services for $ 149.99 online (
). I would definitely recommend upgrading to the 90-​minute massage — it’s worth it (just make sure you ask for Edwin).
