Pegah Acupuncture

Pegah is an excellent acupuncturist and a genuine caring person. I wouldn’t want to go any where else. She always asks if I have any ailments and then she applies the appropriate treatment I may need. I have to drive quite a distance for each appointment, but it’s well worth it. Sometimes I think maybe it’s time to find someone closer or stop treatments, but I always feel so much better after a treatment that I then think why would I go anyplace else when she does such a good job. I’m a pretty picky about the services I pay for, so when I find a good thing I stick with it.

I first started seeing Pegah after a car accident. I had horrible neck and shoulder pain, I had even lost motor function of my right arm. She is the best. She has a solid background in Western Medicine and had a solid education at PCOM as well as interning with Sports Medicine acupuncturists so I knew I was in good hands. She was able to eliminate all my pain and also treat other things that came up during that time including surgery in the sacral area and a lumpectomy.
Pegah utilizes many aspects of Chinese medicine which I enjoyed such as moxa and cupping and the use of various linaments. She’s incredibly easy to talk to so I felt comfortable disclosing information. Her needle technique is also quite amazing, I often didn’t notice any needles were in me! She gave me exercises for my shoulder and diet recommendations to reduce inflammation.
She is sweet, compassionate, empathetic, punctual, and professional. I am an acupuncturist as well and I even refer patients to her when I know things are out of my scope of knowledge. That’s how much I value/​trust her. One of my favorite things about her is how much she cares about her patients. She follows up a day or two after the treatment to see how I’m doing and how the treatment made me feel.

Pegah is something special! I went to Pegah throughout my pregnancy and she was amazing. My pregnancy was a joy and I thank her Acupuncture treatments for a large part of it.
For «first timers», Pegah has such a gentle needling technique that I couldn’t ever feel the needle inserting, yet I definitely felt the power of the treatment. Being pregnant, I was extra sensitive and Pegah made me feel right at home; everything from different positions, to multiple pillows to dimmed lighting.
Pegah has such a warm demeaner that it is almost impossible to not feel comfortable. Not to mention, her skilled background in Western medicine, which givers me comfort me in other ways.
All in all, whether its your first treatment or 100^th treatment, I think you will agree with me once you give her a visit.

Every appointment begins with a diligent consultation about anything that’s been bothering me, my recent diet, stresses, etc. From there Pegah crafts holistic plan that begins in the office with acupuncture, cupping, etc and ends with sage advice about my diet, exercise, and other ways to continue the comfortable and peaceful path.
Her office feels peaceful, comfortable and zen. It’s sort of like a combination between a nice new and sanitary doctors office and a peaceful Chinese garden. She has both eastern and western medical training so that vibe really suits her.
I’ve been to other acupuncturists but Pegah is genuinely different. She’s a true professional and genuinely interested in making you feel balanced and good, regardless of what’s ailing you. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
