I’m a fan. Although we used another well known couture cleaner down the road for years I got tired of the broken buttons, bumpy shrunken cuffs, offsite plant and re-​cleans. Professional cleaning is a luxury of course and Ogden’s does a fabulous job. I’ve never had to send anything back for a re-​do here and the prices are significantly less than what I am accustom to. Service is excellent, friendly, fast and they also do repairs and tailoring plus they even ran out and purchased fabric on my behalf and whipped up a new dog bed insert for me when the old one wasn’t going survive the next cleaning. Very highly recommended!

I have been using Ogdens since I moved to the village 8 years ago.
NEVER have I had an issue with their cleaning, attitudes etc.
Each front staff member there is very customer service oriented-​very friendly and very helpful.
They have been in La Jolla for years and have a prominent place in our community.
Unfortunately you cannot please everyone-​no matter how competent you are.
They are loved by many, as one day I was there and a lady dropped off a plant to Suni to thank them all for their kindness & great service!
How often does that happen, getting a gift from a customer?

I brought my dress in as it had a stain. Paid $ 11 to have the stain removed. And it wasn’t. Dan, the owner, refused to reimburse me. Not sure why I had to pay for a job that wasn’t done — do you? I will never return! (I gave one star — wanted to leave 0 stars but was unable to)

Felt like I needed to write a proper review for these guys. I’ve been going there every week or two for the last two years and I can honestly say I’ve never had an issue. It might be a little pricy as one reviewer said, but it is La Jolla, is super convenient (drive up) and they are fast (same day service if you’re there in the morning). All in all, I’m not sure why I’d go anywhere else.

Finally, a cleaner that doesn’t take you to the cleaners in La Jolla.
After trying about 5 different places I finally found a dry cleaner that is fast, reasonably priced ($ 2 for a man’s dress shirt). I took about the same amount of clothes to La Jolla Cleaners and here – and the difference was $ 50-​versus-​$ 20.25. Yes, almost a $ 30 difference. It would add up quick over a year.
Service was friendly and easy. As another reviewer noted, you can literally drive up to the front door, run out, grab your clothes and be back out the door in less than 10 minutes.

Very nice people. They get your shiz-​nit cleaned really fast. Turnaround time is really good considering the fact that you’d expect this place to get mounds of blazers and slacks.
They don’t have a computerized system but I don’t care because they’ve never lost anything of mine.
If you like doing drive-​bys, you’ll like this place. You can park (and idle your car) right in front of the door, they get your shiz-​nit in about 15 seconds, you pay, and you bounce like O-​Dog did in Menace II Society.
