One of the best service I had in a long time. I don’t usually give review but Hamida did an exceptional job on my hair. I had a keratin hair treatment and I was happy with the result. She is really accommodating and she’ll give you a good discount too.

I’ve been getting my hair cut and styled here by Mel for about 2 years now. She has done an amazing job! She always takes her time and gives me a exactly what I want– even if I don’t know what I want! She has great ideas whenever I come in and am feeling frustrated or bored with my look. She really knows what will work with my hair, and what will look and feel great. It took me a long time to find a hairstylist after I moved to San Diego, and if Mel ever leaves I will be devastated! She is an expert in her field, and I always feel so pampered and beautiful when I leave; I love coming to see her!

Wow! It’s 2014 and time to update my review! I am still getting my haircuts from Melinda and she is still absolutely awesome! I don’t think I will go anywhere else and once you found someone you trust? Why go anywhere else?

Love this salon! I have been going here for years and am always so pleased with the results. Even when I’m doing something new & different (like chopping all my hair off) I’m so happy with how I look afterwards :) I highly recommend Dawn; she’s fantastic!

Dawn is the best! She knows how to work with any type of hair. Not only is she great at cutting hair but she is also very fun to talk to. She makes getting a hair cut fun! The prices are reasonable and makes the drive well worth it! The only thing I dislike is the parking! Not enough parking.

I can count on the right color and style for my ever changing hair mood. Sometimes it’s the highlights, then a great low light. Maybe I’m feeling sassy and ready for a fun new look. Mel listens to what my needs are and when I don’t have any ideas I ask her to just do whatever she thinks would be great for me. I’ve never been disappointed… and neither will you.

My mom and I both have been going here for years — Danielle has my hair down to a tee and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. My Mom goes to Dawn and would rather have roots than trust anyone else with her cut and color. It’s super reasonably priced too!

My husband goes here and sees Dawn. WOW. He gets an amazing cut everytime. She accomodates his weirdo re-do’s and his «can I get in now» requests. He is very picky and she does his hair just right. I love the way she cuts it. Cheap, and friendly, five stars!

I have been going here for years just to get my hair cut and i must say i would never go anywhere else.
I get literally 3 compliments A DAY on my hair.
DAWN (the owner) is the most amazing hair cutter i have ever experienced.
She can work wonders on any type of hair.
She is always booked so it usually takes a week or 3 to get an appointment. I have alotttt of hair and it’s very long and i only pay $ 40 for a full cut. Where in La Jolla can you get your hair done for $ 40.00???
The salon is small but lovely!
