Heard good things so planned a trip down from Carlsbad with a group of girlfriends (kid free… some of you know how long that can take to arrange) to do Spring shopping for the kids. The website hours are posted as 10am to 5pm; we arrived at 4pm and the shop was closed. Frustrating!

One star because they have beautiful things. Don’t take a stroller. Did someone offer to help lift stroller up steps. Not at all. Kept watching me like I was going to steal something. The clerk acted like I was interrupting something important, even though there was no on e else there. Did not walk down the step to see if I was looking for something special. Of course I was. I am a 75 year old grandmother with 3 grandchildren under 6. I am from Michigan who spends winters in LaJolla. I usually do my baby shopping at Nordstrom in MI and San Diego, who always go out of their way to help and that is where I will continue to shop.

This children’s boutique is fabulous!
The most AMAZING girls dresses for babies to toddlers. Cute little blazers for boys and the little suits are just to die for! There’s tutu’s, bathing suits, shoes and hand knitted blankets and head accessories!
The owner is so nice and helpful and will try to find you exactly what you are looking for.
This is the PERFECT SHOP for baby shower gifts, birthday gifts, special occassion wear or just shopping for your own little one.

My coworker and I went into the store to search for some shoes for her child’s upcoming birthday. We were in the store for about 15 minutes and noticed the owner talking to a friend. Not once did she acknowledge our presence. My friend wanted to buy some cute Ralph Lauren shoes ($ 40) and was prepared to spend a little on some other cute items in the boutique. We even waited until her friend left and she still didn’t ask if we needed assistance. This place is convenient since it’s close to our job, but we’ll take our business across town to a place that actually wants customers!

This children’s boutique is darling! Very upscale. Just what you’d expect from La Jolla. It has lil’ girls and lil’ boys clothes, baby stuff and clever gifty items like towels and blankets.
I’m writing this review because I stopped in one day. Browsed. Talked with the owner. Made an inquiry about a certain size and color blanket. She promised she would look into it and call me with the information.
Guess what? She followed up with me in just a few hours. I love it when people do exactly what they promise.
I’m recommending this kids boutique for selection and for exemplary customer service! I hope you give this independently owned boutique your business — for gifts or your own children!
It’s a great place to shop for all special occasions!
