I met Joulie at a Pilates class and am so pleased I did. She is an expert at color and styling. Highly recommend.

I went to see Joulie at Joulie Medosch in La Jolla. She is the only person who will EVER be allowed to dye my hair!!! She has taken me from dark brown boring hair to a mixture of honey blonde’s and carmels. My man is so thrilled and has made me swear I will never go back to dark boring hair again. Joulie is great at listening and understanding what you want to do with your hair. Joulie has gone above and beyond to be gentle with my fine damaged hair — in fact, my hair looks healthier after the process (which if anyone knows going blonde is one of the harshest things you can do to your hair!). And she has transitioned my hair from dark to light so seamlessly! She gave my long fine locks a great new cut with multiple layers in a way I have never had done before. Pictures are coming soon! I am kinda new to San Diego. I moved here in January. I looked for a place to get my hair done & the first place I went to, damaged my hair. I waited about 3 weeks and googled places near me in La Jolla & found Joule Medosch. I loved what I read on her website & decide to make an appointment. I was super impressed with her knowledge of hair and color. I had to have my hair colored because my previous highlights at another place were hideous! Joule helped me pick a color and voila! That feeling of «just stepping out of a salon» felt GREAT! She did a FANTASTIC job! I feel good and most important, I look good! Thank you Joulie, you’re amazing!!!

I have been going to Joulie for more than 10 years. She is fabulous with hair color, and is a color educator for other stylists, and sometimes gets called in to fix color disasters. My color always comes out looking just right, and when she highlights, it looks so natural. My cuts are very well done, taking into account that my hair is fairly thick, dry and unruly, and it looks great when she finishes. She also has some treatments that make my hair look nearly silky. A miracle!
The salon is very pleasant, and very comfortable. Joulie offers coffee, tea, water, etc, which makes it feel like visiting a home. I have been very pleased with everything she does.
