Gonna give this place a 5 because of the friendly workers. They smile, greet you, and ask you what you want just like how any well-​trained friendly employee is supposed to treat customers. The music is peaceful and there is a nice atmosphere. It doesn’t get too loud either from people frequently coming in and out. It’s definitely a great study spot if you can get a study spot. The only con I think of is that it may get crowded during finals time so don’t expect to always get a spot inside the place. If you don’t, there is always outside to study and enjoy the atmosphere! :)

Their tomato and mozzarella on focaccia bread is delicious right after it’s been heated up for you. I’m here on a Sunday afternoon and scored the corner table round table for four (willing to share if someone asks:). My go-​to drinks are the tea lattes and occasionally with soy if I’m in the mood – both types are tasty.
I didn’t see the the charging ring/​tables in this Starbucks which is unfortunate. The floor space is roomy and there are leather and wood sitting chairs. The patio is partially covered and heated. Since it’s the weekend and the weather is a bit dreary outside, I didn’t have any problems finding street parking, but during the week on a beautiful day, it might be a different story.
Lovely layout and quick and kind service! I would return for another warm cup of comfort again :)

Best Starbucks in San Diego, by far. Always fast, with consistent quality, and a friendly, personable staff that welcomes all! The manager takes the time to learn customers names and really goes above and beyond to ensure customers walk away happy. They have a clover machine in house and an excellent selection of rare coffees as a result, which I highly recommend to all coffee lovers. Plenty of comfortable seating inside, along with an amazingly large outdoor patio right in the heart of La Jolla. Stop by whenever you want some quality caffeine or just need someone to put a smile on your face!

Everyone here is super nice. This morning I had ordered a coffee through the mobile app but for some reason they didn’t get it. When they noticed I was waiting there for a while they quickly asked me what I was waiting for, they re-​made my drink right away and were super nice about it.

Huge outdoor seating and not super busy which I like. Never takes too long to get a drink and the staff is very friendly. Retail to choose from and the usual Starbucks food items to grab when you need a quick fix.
Parking is ok too for being in the Village.

Very friendly for «all things Starbucks,» but the best cappuccino in town is just 1 ½ blocks north of here on the corner of La Jolla Shores Drive and Avenida De La Playa (Shore Thing Café). Starbucks’ cappuccino is a disappointment in comparison. But when the kids are in tow and Frappuccinos are on the list of drinks wanted, we’re glad to have this shop within walking distance of our home. If going in the evening, you might want to call to make sure they’re open. I stopped by the other day at 6:45PM to pick up some coffee beans and they were closed, despite the official closing our being 8PM on Mondays.

My stop to start my journey to downtown everyday ! The staff are very knowledgable and my drinks are always consistent. It’s very impressive since I get the same thing everyday… The line in the morning rush over gets too long sometimes ! They def need more staff

Love the staff, I have been to many, many Starbuck’s around the Country and this one is my favorite, for many reasons, it is large and the staff is friendly and competent. Great Manager (Jeremiah) always around to help and chip in!
Also, has a large outdoor patio, which you can enjoy!

This is one of my favorite places to study right now. It’s pleasant, VERY well airconditioned (like, bring a sweater) and there is Chipotle right next door if you get too hungry for light Starbucks bistro food. There is also street parking with no time limit, so you can study for more than 2 hours no problem. There are only 4 tables to work at inside, but there are tons of tables outside as well as couches inside and outside. The staff are friendly, and it’s pretty amusing people watching. It’s usually quite quiet, and the music they play works with studying/​reading/​chilling.

This is not a friendly store. There is plenty of room and plenty of outside seating and plenty of inside seating but the service with pleasant smile and having a valued customer feeling is lacking. I’m not sure why but it felt like I wasn’t up to the clerk’s standers. After a many year gold club card with experience of Starbucks over the country I would have to give this Starbucks a 1.5 out of ten. A little training here.

Hi Friends!
I’ll begin by saying im not the biggest starbucks fan but I do stop every once in a while to get my coffee fix.
This starbucks was awesome. The drinks were made pretty quickly and there was a nice cozy environment inside. Most starbucks these days has students reviewing material for the MCAT with their headphones in. This is probably one of the few starbucks I’ve seen where people are engaging in conversation. That’s the kind of stuff that starts from the staff and management. Bravo!
