IHOP

After waiting a while to be seated my wife received her ice water. The glass had lipstick on the rim of it. No attempt had been made to wash the glass because you could still clearly see the imprint of the persons skin. Never again, disgusting… I’ll call the health department.

Had to send food back 4 times before they got it right. then gunboat a hair in the pancakes. That was the last straw we left after that. The waitress also took it on herself to choose substitution in our order.

I use to come here a lot. But, today has changed
That forever. The toilet was nasty, 3 out of 4 wait staff was just standing there staring into space.
I and my husband left and so did another older couple. The restaurant was dirty and messy.
When we asked for coffee after waiting a long time the rude lady said wait, I’m busy.

This rating is for today. 5 waitstaff and a Bly one was actually doing anything. Took a while to get seated. Never got any drink order. She me folks at a table who were sitting down already while I was waiting to be seated never got seven either. Needless to say I finally flagged a waitress down and still waited. So we started leaving and couple other tables left too. I normally eat here at least 3 – 4 times a month but today was the worst I have ever seen it.

I love IHOP! I enjoy the chicken and waffles. I don’t ever have a problem with customer service anywhere and it’s really hard for me to get bothered by it since I’ve worked in retail/​restaurants. Although this situation certainly bothered me. Our waitress was just not in the right mind to serve my family but she sure was working for that tip at the white family behind us. When she brought my dad her coffee he asked for crème. She passed by 3 times to the table behind us so I asked again for it «she had completely forgot». Okay I asked for ketchup and it was passed 10 min I finally just grabbed it from another table. Keep in mind it was not busy at all. She never came back to our table to check on us. My two stars is only for my food (chicken strips were way too small this time) I will certainly not be attended by Chelsea again. Come on IHOP managers, have talks to your employees every morning about customer service.

This location is disgusting and dirty. All of our silverware was visibly dirty, there was a piece of food in my glass of water. Got up and canceled our order with the manager, I personally don’t want to eat somewhere that they can’t even take the time to clean the dishes. All manager had to say was, «sorry» instead of trying to remedy it. Someone needs to lose their job here apparently in order to actually care.
Will not go back to this location ever again. Only reason we did this time is cause we were on our way to Galveston.

Very disappointed. Took my family for dinner three people were working the rest were standing around playing grab ass. Manger was among the one doing nothing. After 45 min of waiting for our food finally it came out. Cold, my kid was so hungry she slammed it just to eat something. Because it was 8:00 pm. Will never eat there again. An we like ihop we eat there all the time in Lawton Oklahoma. Hope someone loses their job over this. An were not that way!

I went here the other day with my family for breakfeast, it wasn’t too busy so that was a plus. The service was fast and good. The food was actually really good. Our waiter was very friendly. My family had a good meal before heading back home. Hopefully they will keep up the good work.

I haven’t had anything at this location that wasn’t good. They lost a star because of having to listen to all the waitresses stand a few feet away from us talking about things customers don’t really need to listen to. I understand wanting to get things out, but do it away from tables with customers in it.

This location is clean and the staff are very friendly. On a recent trip my husband and daughter really enjoyed their food. My only complaint is the pancake batter in the omelet. It gave it a very sweet flavor that overpowered the egg. I could not eat it. I would still go there again, I just won’t be ordering eggs!

Have eaten here several times while in town. The pl ace is always crowded but it seems to move quite well. Good food great price and if youre lucky the service will be great. If youre not lucky… really bad service.

Late night breakfast with kids, Food was tossed on table or maybe her hands were to full. I ordered special banana/​strawberry with cream cheese pancakes with ham/​hash brown. Kids ordered blueberry pancakes with bacon, food came out warm to taste. Service was slow to say we were 4 among 12, drinks ran low and had to flag waitress down for refills. I enjoyed my ham and hash brown were cooked perfect and kids loved turkey bacon.

Came in late to spend some time with friends, it was surprisingly crowded for 10:00 p.m. But in spite of the full house the service was surprisingly good.
The food is certainly not gourmet quality, but it was good temperature and tasted fairly good.
To sum up, it’s not a bad option for a stop with friends when gourmet food is not the focus.

This location is overall really good I have no complaints and food is always fresh service is good, place is clean. The one thing Ive noticed is the younger staff to me (maybe its because I use to be a waitress) but the past two times I think Ive been there they are quite playful. More so than I would like to see or at least be more discrete about it.

I admit it, I’m a Denny’s girl. I just never was really happy with IHOP when we went and would always choose Denny’s if I had the choice. But I was really really super happy with our visit here today.
There were 8 of us; me, my hubby, my brother and his wife and my four nieces. Brother and fam had just gotten off a cruise ship in Galveston and they were starving. The IHOP on the island was jam-​packed so we hoofed it here hoping for a decent, relaxing meal. We got it, which was great as it was nice to be able to sit and chat with my family before they headed back to Kansas.
We had about a 15 minute wait for 8 of us which wasn’t bad at all on a Sunday morning; the only complaint I had was the way the tables were set up it was almost impossible for us to get in and out from the end without bumping into the next table. So yeah the tables were pretty close together, but we made do.
The waiter was fine; he wasn’t outstanding and he wasn’t terrible. He was friendly and did his job. He forgot a couple of things but got them to us quickly after a reminder so I can’t fault him for that. I know I couldn’t remember all the stuff that 8 different people wanted! lol
Hubby ordered the bacon wrapped sirloin and eggs from the seven for $ 7 menu and he was really happy with it. The eggs were cooked correctly and it was a really decent portion of food for $ 7. He was very happy and full, and when he’s happy, I’m happy!
I got the Simple and Fit two egg breakfast, which was scrambled egg substitute, two strips of turkey bacon, whole wheat toast and fresh fruit all for under 350 calories! Of course the sodium wasn’t that great, but anytime you eat out you’re going to get things with higher sodium. But it was super good and hit the spot for sure!
I was also impressed with all the different Simple & Fit offerings (all under 600 calories) that were clearly labeled and the suggestions they listed to make your meal a little more healthy (ask for sugar free syrup, substitute turkey bacon and egg substitute, etc). I don’t always choose healthy things; sometimes I want a huge stack of pancakes with eggs and sausage, but I like to have the choice of getting something lighter and lower calorie, and I like when it’s easily labeled and identified. Great job with that IHOP!
So we had good service, great food and very reasonable prices… that makes me a fan. So I guess I may just become an IHOP girl now…
