«Eek! Methinks not.» is accurate. The picture is accurate too; all dark and seedy. There is a group of drug addicts that have made this spot their hangout. There are dark alleys on all sides of this 7 – 11 for them to hide in or escape. At some point, the courtesy patrol must have given up. The addicts are ALWAYS there! They’re never NOT there! I might consider grabbing a snack here but I won’t. I’m talking about bath salts/acid/crackheads. drawing on invisible canvases, wizard dueling, aggressive staring and shouting. Do not go here. It is not safe. Or maybe I’m totally wrong. perhaps these people are interpretive street dance performers.

This is on my list of: San Diego’s most sketchy 7−11s. Although it’s conveniently located next to my friends’ apartments… there’s something a little unsettling about this store. It may have been the guy that tapped on my window late at night to ask for change for a twenty bc no one would open the drawer for him– and after I said I couldn’t help him… he replied, «It’s okay. I’ll just get change from the ATM.» (I know what you’re thinking. I thought the same. And no, I didn’t respond to that). But I did get the feeling that A) They wouldn’t open the drawer bc he seemed like a fellow with either a counterfeit bill… or B) He might rob me. Either way… keep your valuables out of sight here! Hide yo wife! Hide yo kids!!!

Why am I not going here anymore? The lady in the mornings is jut a terrible human being. Rude to everyone. Even accused me of stealing when she forgot to put something in the bag. I had to point it out that it was sitting next to the scanner. I would give only one star since there are some genuinely nice guys who work later in the day. I’m now going to drive out I the way to avoid this lady.

This is my second home! I come here very often. I’m sad because I am moving and it won’t be the closest 7-eleven to me anymore :( Wherever you are, especially in a big city like San Diego you will find a 7-eleven in almost every corner. The only 7-eleven that I ever found that had good customer service was that of one off of broadway street down in Chula Vista. It’s been over 9 years since I’ve lived there and gone through many other 7-elevens and had never found another great 7-eleven with great customer service until now. I moved to La Mesa within the last year. We first came here because it had a red box. Than better news, they carried my favorite slurpee flavor! Every person I’ve ever come across has been sweet. My boyfriend and I are regulars so we know the employees well. I also love coming here in the mornings when I wake up to late to make my own coffee. Over all great customer service 7-eleven!

This 7 – 11 is awesome because of the location and the people that work there are always polite. I can appreciate good customer service even if it’s at a small convenient store.

Busy location. Staff is efficient. Drink selection is not as large as other locations.

This gets 4 stars, based on comparison to other 7 – 11’s. They may not look like the friendliest people, but they know how to joke around. And they’re super efficient. And to be honest, thats all I want from a convenience store. And as an extra bonus, its always pretty clean there, which beats a lot of other 7-Elevens.

My local neighborhood 7-eleven has a good selection of drinks. I always stop by on my way to work or on my way home. They usually have what I’m looking for so no complaints. The staff that works here are super friendly.

Just as good as any 7 – 11 I suppose. Staff is usually friendly. I really, really, really do not like all the creepy people that hang out outside the door though. being next to a bar and a «puff and stuff» doesnt really help with the clientel I guess. I never go to this 7 – 11 at night.

I was in the area, dropping someone off and I went and got my usual slurpee that I have on a weekly basis. Yes, I love 7 Eleven, I grabbed a chicken salad sandwich and wanted to get my slurpee, but the flavor I wanted ran out, so I had to get my second choice. I told the guy who worked there about it running out and he felt bad for me and didn’t charge me for my slurpee in the domo cup. I LOVEDOMO! Very cool, I know it was only $ 1.99 but that was a nice gesture. :)

We’ve all seen 7-Eleven stores, yeah? Well… how many have you seen that sell LIQUOR? Your standard fare of Bud/Miller/Coors light and crappy wine… but straight alcohol? Yeah boyeeeeeeeee! When you’re itchin’ for some Hypnotiq at 1:45 in the morning, who ya gonna call? Nelly or Dem Franchise Boyz first… but if they don’t answer, you bet your sweet drunk ass 7-Eleven’s gonna hook you up! I used to live right behind this place. Lemme tell ya… it was clutch. Gimme a pack of Swisher Sweets, a few Go Go Taquitos and some Popov and call that a weekend, son!
