Today I had to stop and grab milk on my way home from an appointment with my 2 and 4 year olds. My 2 year old fell asleep. I grabbed the gallon of milk, my 4 year old grabbed a juice and we headed to the counter. The cashier told me milk was on sale if I bought 2 so I said sure. The other cashier ran to the back and grabbed the second milk for me(since I was carrying my sleeping 2 year old) and then took both of the gallons and walked out to my car with us!!! This has never ever happened to me and I so greatly appreciated it!!! Thank you for employing such helpful and happy people :)

Sure, why not? Yesterday was 7/11, so here’s this FTR7-Eleven® review. Made a quick stop around 6ish because the Free Slurpee® Day promo ended at 7pm. As luck would have it, there wasn’t a line, which was the opposite from the 49th St location. Massive crowd of kids outside that building. I cringe at what went down inside. Back to this story on 70th& University Ave. The floor was super sticky from countless slobs spilling their complimentary cups of sugar, but I can’t be that critical since there’s only a couple of store clerks dealing with the day’s madness. It was neat that they had a dedicated employee working the machines from behind a couple of tables set up as a makeshift barricade, with a supply of small Slurpee cups, dome lids, and spoonstraws at the ready. No self-serve on freebie day. The plan was not to let the masses dawdle at the drink station, to overfill, or REFILL the cup. I just walked up and asked for a half-cherry half-blue raspberry. The guy was in a great mood probably because the promo was over in less than an hour. This store is relatively newer and cleaner than the neighboring 7-Elevens within a short radius. There are no fuel pumps here and amply spaced parking spaces in this little corner strip mall. The driveways are accessible either from eastbound University Ave or northbound 70th St. You can make a U-turn if you missed it, but don’t fret because there’s another store conveniently located down the road.
