These guys are great. I’m here way too much, I’m way too picky of a customer, and I am that annoying jackass that actually asks about the prices. And they still go above and beyond and take care of me. The brothers behind the counter are the owners/​operators, and they love their business and their customers. Is BevMo cheaper? Yes. But it’s worth the extra dollar or two per item to have a friendly conversation while you check out, to know that the money is going to support small business owners and not a corporation, and to know that if something ever goes awry they’ll take care of it.
Long story short, if you live within 3 – 5 miles of this place and are not going here, you’re doing something wrong.

I live like 200 yards away, so this place is super convenient. They have a ton of last minute stuff that I’d normally have to drive to get, so that’s awesome.
Liquor. Liquor. Liquor. They have it all. Anything you want is here… Decent prices and conveniently located. I’m here like twice a week.

We are regulars here, and guys let you know that they appreciate it. Every time they are welcoming and quick to help if you need anything. They will even start stocking a product should you ask.
No need to go anywhere else.

To be honest, I only come here for the ice cream. I am usually too lazy to drive and I live across the street so I walk. They offer overpriced Ben and Jerry’s, but when you’re PMSing, the taste of Half Baked is priceless.
Also, they sell pregnancy tests for $ 2.99 here. That’s less expensive than Haggen’s and just as accurate as the First Response brand that they offer there. I’m not sure if they let customers use the bathroom here because they were hesitant when I asked, but I convinced the guy at the front that it was a crucial situation and I didn’t want to be a mother. They let me use their bathroom and that’s when I found out I was pregnant. FML.

My man and his bro are great! Hella nice and always got the news on! If they don’t have what you need they can get it in a matter of a day or two. Especially when it comes to E-​cigs and accessories they are cheaper than anywhere else I’ve ever been!!!

A great find for this neighborhood. Has a much larger beer selection than those chain stores! Staff is very friendly and will order stuff if you ask and they don’t carry it. Good selection of wine also.

They have a nice complete selection here and it doesn’t smell as bad as most liquor stores I’ve been in around here. They carry Ballast Point Wahoo and that is a tough but delicious beer to find. I usually can never find bottles of it anywhere I shop. This is a nice convenient stop on the way to see friends in La Mesa and we usually make a point to come here when we do.

I love this place. It’s the closest liquor store near my house so when I’m feeling boozy or need some paper products this is my go to. The owner and all his employees will treat you like family. Go to Subway if you really need a sandwich, i’d give this business more stars if I could.

Pretty good sandwiches. Try the Chainsaw sandwich… I wont tell ya whats in it because I don’t want discourage anyone who eats healthy.
Update 6÷13÷07:
Well, I stopped by this place to check out the deli menu and learned that the deli part of the operation was gone. Now it is just another overpriced liquor store.
