Murray Lake Store Liquor

This is a great little corner liquor store. They sell duck food (cracked corn) for $ 1 per bag which is great considering they are right across the street from Lake Murray at the corner of Lake Murray Blvd and Kiowa Drive. They are a liquor store /​convenience store and sell lotto tickets too. The guys that run this place are really friendly and have Propane tank exchange, Bait and Tackle, Water machine, Ice machine, ATM, and open every day! Great little Mom n’ Pop store! Love this place!

We stop at this place sometimes. We actually since have found a better choice that has more of what we like on the same path to our friends. This place stands out cuz it was so big and we liked it cuz it reminded us of lake liquor stores from back home in southeastern Michigan and that’s what makes La Mesa/​Lake Murray area cool but, this place is just so so. Like I said we rarely stop here any more now that we have gotten to know the area after friends moved from out of state.

Fast, effective and a hassle free purchase across the street from Lake Murray, oh and they have bait. That’s a plus.

Employees are always polite. Great place to get emergency bread or milk – I prefer stopping here to Vons down the street. Prices are really good for a convenience store. They sell everything you need for fishing as well! (Lake Murray is just across the way). They sell liquor as well, but it’s much more than a liquor store!!!

Yes. they have it all, and the lady behind the register is very pleasant and friendly!
My son and I stopped here to check out their bait and tackle. we were planning to fish for bluegill at Lake Murray. and this stop satisfied!
Get your redworms, nightcrawlers, meal worms and catfish bait here! Need hooks? Check out their limited variety. (most common items required for fishing will be here as well.) Remember, this is not really a full on bait and tackle shop but a liquor store that happens to have your usual bait and tackle!
They even sold lottery tickets here! Come on BIG MONEY!
Stop on by on your way to Lake Murray. If you’ve found your missing some items. I’m sure they’ll have em.
