This place is a joke. Keep reading… I need to get some quick cash out, and I was driving by and figured«It’s a liquor store, of course then have an ATM.» My first warning sign(which I ignored) was the stereotypical Middle Eastern 40-ish male working behind the counter. I asked him if they had an ATM and he said«Sure, just slide your card» as he pointed to the debit card reader connected to the register. Like an idiot, I swiped my card and he gave me my $ 40, but charged me $ 42. Of course I’ve head of ATM fees, but this $ 2 wasn’t that. He created a fictitious $ 2 sale on the register, then charged my card $ 42. He never mentioned a $ 2 «fee». My bank actually refunds me up to $ 15 a month in ATM fees. Unfortunately, this… guy didn’t warn me that he was going to charge me $ 2. I’m sure it won’t be reimbursable, therefore they get one star!

Looks can be deceiving when it comes to the size of a liquor store. On the outside, the place can appear small and you wouldn’t think twice about just walking on by. You’d probably think that the place probably just sells Budweiser and cigarettes. This assumption would be wrong. Once inside you’d be face to face with a solid selection of local San Diego craft beers, go to liquors and other convenience items like snacks, sodas and non-alcoholic beverage items. It also has a friendly staff that is willing to work with you. If there’s something you’re looking for, they can get the word to the owner and he can try and get it. Totally cool. This place is a legitimate little liquor mart. Like I said, looks can be deceiving and I’m glad I decided to stop in because there was definitely more than met the eye with this one.

Great family owned business. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Newly remodeled with and enormous selection of craft beer and everything else you would want. Great shop. Good prices. Support our small businesses.

I have been to this location a total of two times now. I would honestly have to say… and I feel like I am cheating on my other go-to spot, but this placer is just awesome! When I first pulled up one night, there were a group of younger kids(early 20’s) parked out front and standing around, so naturally I was a little sketched out. I told my girlfriend you better come in on this one… we went in looking for one drink in particular but when I looked around I realized may have died and gone to heaven. Their craft brews both local and far selection was GREAT! Needless to say my immediate thought was I may indeed be coming here more often. What really sealed the deal was the young man working the register. Apparently his father owns and often runs the store. This kid really is what sold me on this place. He was polite, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. Great business!

A very nice, friendly, family run neighborhood corner store. A new 7 – 11 opened up a block away and I think it has taken lots of local business away from this local business owner. They now have a ton of CA craft beers. They remodeled and have lots more local micro beer selections now. They will even special order a wine or liquor for you if they don’t have it. Support your local corner store, not just a big corp. like 7 – 11.

A ok in my book. I would love to give them 5 stars but they close very early, if you can’t get here by 10 don’t even try. Which is a bummer on the weekends. Friendly service, cool guys, family owned. Overall not too shabby. Have snacks and other standards you may need.

This is like that friendly convenient store around the corner. They have everything you could possibly need. Liquor, beer, wine, soda, chips, gum, ice cream, snacks, pet food, even certain home utilities. It’s always fast very friendly service. The owner has been here for almost 20 years & he’s a family business man that has great prices. Next time your in the area & you need a quick something, check it out.

This a popular Neighborhood liquor store in La Mesa. They carry all the standard domestic and imported beers and hard liquor. They also have a nice selection of domestic wines and a few imported ones as well. Th beer in the cooler is always very chilled. They carry Lotto and all the rest of the nick knacks you find at liquor stores like gum, chips, and candy etc. They also carry a small amount of groceries. The service is usually quite friendly and quick.
