This place is hit and miss. Sometimes the pizza is great, sometimes it’s not even remotely worth it. I would guess that on the times when it’s only so-so, I am the last in a long line of deliveries(cold, limp pizza is the worst). I’ve had their meatball sub several times, and it is always pretty good. I would suggest picking your pizza up, rather than having it delivered; the wait really doesn’t take that long, but by the time the pizza gets to my house 3 miles away, it is usually not that great.

Best pizza I’ve had out in La Mesa so far. $ 20 for a 20 inch 2 topping pizza is pretty awesome. Side salads are better than expected as well.

Order from here all the time and the pizza is pretty good every time. It’s thin crust which is good when you don’t want to feel stuffed with bread, and they always put a generous portion of cheese and toppings. Of course 97% of people order pizza from here, but take a good look at the menu because they have a bunch of other stuff too like sandwiches and pasta, which I’ve both tried and are good as well.

We looked on Unilocal for a great pizza place to try when we were on vacation is San Diego. Took my family(8 of us) to try this supposedly great restaurant. First off, the girl taking our order was not a great English speaker. No one seemed happy to see us or pleased with our business. This is a to go and delivery establishment– not a great dining in place. Cheesesteaks were a frozen Sysco product accompanied with jar Marinara sauce. Pizza was limp, soggy and undercooked. Pasta dishes were plentiful yet lacked any flavor whatsoever. We were extremely disappointed and cannot recommend this establishment to anyone.

I located this establishment on Unilocal while I’m sort of trapped(in a good way) in the house with my newborn and no one to bring me food and without an extra hand to be able to cook. Anyway, since finding them a week ago I’ve ordered from here 4 times already! The delivery is in good time and the food arrives piping hot! I was shocked by the portion sizes but trust me the leftovers come in handy during those late night feedings. I’ve always been picky about my good but this has exceeded my expectations! Hope you all enjoy!

Best pizza nearby, quality/organic/halal(kosher alternative health-wise) ingredients used. Great customer service as always.

I just gotta say, I love this place! I refuse to eat pizza from anywhere else in the La Mesa area. I cannot say a bad thing about their pizza. The toppings are great and the pizza is thin, just the way I like it, so I can fold the slices and just scarf em’ down. Also the people that work there are always friendly. If you are one of these insane psychopaths that loves thick or deep dish pizza, then this place is probably not for you. By the way, since we’re talking about you thick/deep dish lovers, why don’t you do the world a favor and jump off a bridge! I gotta say I love their pasta too. I’m a big fan of the spaghetti with meatballs. God Bless New York New York Pizza & Pasta!

So we ordered from here and I’m still not sure what to say. I really wanted to like this place based on all the great reviews. And I’ll probably try it again in the future, but our food was kind of disappointing. My son wouldn’t even eat his, he said it tasted terrible. I mean, this is a kid who will eat McDonalds, so the fact that he wouldn’t eat their chicken nuggets and fries is pretty sad. I ordered a BLT. The bread was toasted perfectly, but the problem was with the bacon. It was obviously bacon they use as a pizza topping. It was chopped up and chewy, not crispy. It was just not my thing. I didn’t want to eat it at all. We also ordered mozzarella sticks. These were very good. We ended up fighting over these as neither of us wanted our food orders! It was a fight to the death over those delicious mozzarella sticks. I would definitely order these again. Also the delivery guy was very nice and the food came way faster than expected.

Pizza executed with care. Would like to see I slight increase in topping due to being pricey, however, this pizza did not make me sick as many do. Ingredients are well identifiable and ratio nicely on top of the standard thin crust which is tasty without being heavy. Delivery was quick and the Eat24 app was the icing. Stated 45 minutes for delivery but may have been less than 30. Chicken wings appear baked not microwaved which is nice, flavor is on point but may want to consider chicken with less unexpected bones and cartilage as well as overlooking. This was not a deal breaker as it’s very likely it’s a one-off. Artichokes do not have the infamous outer chewy non enable leaves that I get with every other pizza joints. Black olives tasty without that canned after taste, Canadian bacon hand cubed and far less salty than the commonly offered sliced version. Clearly topped with fresh raw spinach and mushrooms. Driver found me without issue(I live in a commercial area) and don’t even have the luxury of a mailbox or route at my location but rather behind me so delivery orders are a roll of the dice. Driver was respectful and pleasant. Definitely for those looking for an alternative to the heavy calorie laden food out there. Also, Blue cheese did not have that strange ranch dressing flavor and garden salad contained crisp green romain lettuce, no evidence of age or that weird aftertaste I’ve noticed with some. My only cons are that it would be nice to see a touch more topping(the mozzerella quantity is perfect) and fine tuning in the buffalo wings.

I just had one of the best Italian sub sammiches I’ve ever eaten. The bun was toasted warm and slightly crunchy and filled with fresh tasting meats and veggies. Make sure to ask for the spicy Capicola ham for extra flavor. I’ll definitely be back for a pizza!

Got a 20″ pizza delivered along with fried ravioli. It came sooner than expected which is always a plus. The ravioli came cold and the oil wasn’t well drained. After they were reheated and re-drained on some paper towels they were tasty but not crispy. The pizza was huge and the toppings somewhat sparse. I wasn’t a huge fan of the flavor of the sauce, and the crust was cooked through but not at all crispy. A-ok but not the best.

I decided to start trying different local pizza places to see if I could find a new one to start frequenting. I pulled up this place on the Unilocal app and they conveniently had a way to order right there. I placed an order for a veggie special with no onions and no bell peppers. I used a credit card. It took about 40 minutes to show up at my door and the driver just asked what my name was and told me to have a good day after he handed me the pizza. I noticed the box felt like it was bending but I thought nothing of it other than how careful I should be holding it. I put the pizza down on my counter and immediately put one slice on a plate and was surprised at how soggy the dough was. I dropped most of the toppings during the transfer to the plate. I inspected the rest of the pizza and took and photo of it. The entire thing had mush for dough and the pizza was still really hot. I’m seriously reconsidering using Unilocal for pizza after my first try was a disaster. I hate to waste the food but I’ll probably just throw the entire thing in the garbage because I tried a slice and the texture made eating it an unpleasant experience. Tldr; Soggy dough. Didn’t like. Would not go back.

Finding a pizza & sub shop with heart is hard to come by, but these guys have it! It’s not my favorite pizza in all of San Diego, but for my San Carlos neighborhood, it’s definitely tasty and up the ranks. My greek salad was very good but the salad dressing was a bit sour from too much vinegar. My husband loved his chicken parm sub, tasted like home from one of our favorite mom and pop shops back East in north shore, Boston. I’ll definitely continue to support New York New York!

Oddly enough, I did not come here for pizza, but rather an 10″ Italian Sub on a French Roll for only $ 5.99( ), not that there is anything wrong with that. The sub came with ham, salami, pepperoni, and mozzarella with all the fixings( ). I liked that they toasted the roll which provided a crusty exterior and a warm soft center. The roll was great. The sub came with a modest amount of deli meats, an area I think they should improve, but nevertheless they tasted good, especially the salami( ). All the greens, tomatoes, and onions were fresh and tasted great. A very food Italian sub, although I wish they would of squirted some olive oil and balsamic on top. You order at the counter, pay, and the food is brought to you. The place has a few tables inside, but I quickly realized while I was there, that the do most of their business as pick up and delivery. The owner and his crew were quite friendly and
