We are basically novice-level home improvers, and we went in here because we heard Sherwin Williams was the best. There was literally no one there. We kind of thought that since it was a whole brick and mortar shop devoted to paint that someone would be there to advise us on gloss level, etc., but not so. The one girl behind the counter was chatting with a guy who appeared to be a regular the entire time we were there, plus we had to wait 10 minutes while they finished their conversation to be rung up. We were exhausted from pulling down wallpaper all day and it was not the greatest experience.

I have a long story but ill spare you and get to the point. They screwed up pretty bad on my order. I believe it’s not what happens but how it’s resolved that counts and Ashley showed top notch customer service and I was very impressed. I will return

This is a new location, just opened in La Mesa where the Firestone Tire store was previously located(and 20 years ago a gas station existed here.). I was glad to see a business finally open because it sat empty for a long time after the Firestone closed. I stopped in just to check it out the other day and had a look around. The sales people were very attentive. This store wasn’t as big as some paint stores I’ve been in but they seem to have quite a selection. I didn’t need anything at the time so I just walked around and asked a few questions. I was also curious if they had any merchandise that might be useful to someone into crafts such as tole painting etc. I didn’t see anything in that category but if I ever want to paint a room I would certainly consider coming back to buy the supplies at this convenient location. I think the store will be a welcome addition to the La Mesa area.
