You’ve got to love an internet Café with Wine. I go there to work sometimes and have enjoyed a number items off their menu. They do a really good job.

Absolutely love this place and the customer service. Discovered«Spacebar» on Unilocal and brought along my fiancé and family to try it out with me. We all were satisfied with our drinks, not a single complaint! That’s when I knew this would be our shop from now on. So good, we returned the next day and a few days after that! Lol.

Dropped by for a quick smoothie. We ordered the two strawberry variant smoothies on the menu. The smoothies were delicious and refreshing. The venue itself is spacious with lots of seating.

Been going to this place for a while, the smoothies are awesome, the owner is super nice and the place has a nice atmosphere. They often have local stand up comedy which is very unique for a corner internet café. I would recommend this place over Starbucks any day.

Very nice owner! I had the acai bowl, and it wasn’t too sweet. Very big portions. If you come in and purchase 10 items you get a $ 5 credit, just have to send your receipt to your email.

This is a great coffee shop, that is a wine and beer bar, that has entertainment and great food. I go here for meetings, so I don’t take in the entertainment, but I am always very happy with service and food. Free wifi!

I’ve been here a few times and the place is on point from the prices to use the internet to the food and drinks. This is a mom and pop operation that is ran very well and organized. It’s not a small spot but it’s a nice size and they have a stage where they may still have open mic or bands playing. The employees are pretty chill and they have a real nice size menu of food and drinks. I wish this place was open 24⁄7 or at least late night like some other spots around town. I do like Space Bar a lot and will continue to come here.

What a great experience I had here. I walked in and up to the counter where a very pleasant lady greeted me. I wasn’t sure about what I wanted so she politely gave me time to review the menu. There was a lot to choose from: salads, Panini sandwiches, bagel sandwiches, smoothies, coffee and tea, breakfast dishes, various appetizers, beer, wine and more. Because it was early morning I ordered the BLT Bagel. The wheat bagel was lightly toasted with bacon, lettuce and tomato, and the mayo and a slice of pickle was on the side. It was a tasty sandwich just enough to start my morning. The great experience I had here was the fact that it was«good karma» day. It just so happened that a random customer left a courtesy gift card for the restaurant to use for all customers orders that morning. So my tasty BLT Bagel was free, but my responsibility was to pass on the«good karma». So I shared my sandwich with my husband. I hope that counts? The atmosphere was welcoming with a spacious floor plan. The restaurant is not fancy but has a lot of character. I like the way it is set up with cozy seating areas to break up the room into different sections, nicely done. They also have a stage platform for the comedy shows they do throughout the month.

I went here for the first time today, after passing by it numerous times on my way to Vons or I-8. I sat at the bar next to a nice gentleman who spoke to me about cooking and our cats. I ordered a smoothie with Kale, Banana, and Mango & a Chicken Pesto Panini. The smoothie was delicious and the panini was huge– seriously, I normally finish everything I eat and couldn’t eat it all! It was decently priced, sure I could make all of this at home but my husband doesn’t eat the same things that I do(like Kale, Banana or Mango) and I would end up with a bunch of waste, so eating at places like this satisfies my healthy eating urge. I overheard a couple of people order beer and saw that they had events that go on throughout the week. Overall, I had a very good experience and I can’t wait to come back! :-)

We just moved across the street from this place! I went in this morning for my first time and ordered a large iced coffee, soy, hazelnut and a small iced coffee, 2% milk, vanilla. Receipt was emailed to me just fine– with the proper drinks. When the gal was making the drinks, she made a large iced coffee, soy, vanilla and a small iced coffee, hazelnut. I explained that the order was wrong and she said«can you just make it work?» I said no, my boyfriend was lactose intolerant. When she realized that she was going to have to make the drinks over, she became horribly rude to a point that I said«it is nothing to get upset about.» The cost was over $ 7 for the 2 drinks. Bummer. Never going back, and we live less than a 2 min walk.

A pretty nice place to go, sit, relax and enjoy some food and company. The ambience inside is calming and pretty inviting. The food and drinks look and smell amazing. My boyfriend and I ordered a few drinks and something to eat. The lady that was working there was really sweet, but unfortunately seemed like the only one there. So we had to wait a little bit for our order to be taken and made. The quality of what we ordered was worth the wait. She made everything fantastically well. I would recommend coming here to relax and do some work or just spend some quite time.

The outside looks very uninviting due to it’s location next to a nail salon. However, once you walk in it’s an amazing atmosphere. The music is mainstream, but that doesn’t matter if you come there to do some homework, or meet up with somebody. What I like about this place is the friendliness, and healthy variety of foods of course. Very European minded I would say. I tried their smoothies which are all great, as well as the panini’s are yum. They’re not priced as Mc Donalds prices their items, so be prepared to pay at least 5 dollars for a smoothie, and 7 – 8 dollars for a sandwich. Plenty of seating, even a couch. And for those that need a computer, they have one charging a dollar for each 15 minutes. I think that’s fair.

First visit. Good morning! Time for another açaí bowl. I liked it. There are add-on options, but I wanted to kick the tires and see how the base model looked. A nice bowl of refreshment, topped with crunchy granola, and arranged pieces of banana and strawberry. I really liked the granola portions. Decent price, but the smoothie was a bit soupy and stingy(maybe 1⁄3 of a banana & one strawberry, sliced) on the fruit compared to nearby cafés. I might check out a pitaya bowl sometime. Nice, open space, with available outlets for your electronic devices. Yes, there are desktop computers available, but everyone that I saw this morning had their own laptop or tablet. Other notables: There are a outdoor tables and more seating options inside, including at the front countertop. In addition to the coffees, teas, and smoothies, there are kitchen items on the menu for brekky & lunches. Free wi-fi too. It’s a clean, relaxing spot to study, work, hang out, and/or enjoy snacks.

What! I had no idea. I’ve driven by this place several times on occasion when I find myself in La Mesa but never stopped. Don’t let the outside of this place fool you, because it is a charm from the second I walked in! Very mellow atmosphere, cutely decorated, friendly staff, plenty of seating, an open mic stage, great music, and art all over! I had a craving for an acai bowl since it was a super hot day, and Spacebar seemed to be the only place in the vicinity open past 6 on a Sunday that served them. Aparently, it was meant to be, because the bowl was fantastic! Totally satisfied my craving. The granola was delicious, the acai blended with apple juice(I believe), fresh and nicely arranged fruit on top, honey and I added coconut. It was perfect. That is the only thing, menu wise, I can speak for at the moment, but I will definitely return. I saw a nice tea selection on the wall. Too bad I don’t live closer!

We live down the street from the spacebar and went there for the first time today. We ordered two Frapchinos and sat down to wait. Despite being completely empty it took about 10 minutes to get our smoothies. The drinks weren’t blended well and I got a lot of ice stuck in my straw so it was very difficult to drink. For the same price as Starbucks the drink was like something I could make at home, milky with large chunks of ice. I haven’t tried any other drinks so this is just based on one item but I am not sure I would trust them with my money again.

If you’re looking for a great place to study, here it is!!! The atmosphere is great! The employees are always so friendly! There is plenty of seating. The music is great for studying because it’s upbeat and easy-listening. Also, they have yummy coffee drinks as well as delicious veggie and fruit smoothies! They also have a decent selection of food to choose from too!

Spacebar, this dreadful café is the worst place to go for lunch or for cup of coffee… I waited over 15 minutes for a smoothie? Like which place does this! Then I ordered a cup of tea and guess how much they charged? 6 ****** dollars! And I am watching someone order the same item and they got it in two minutes! What the hell? Now they are discriminating because I am black? I would give zero stars if I could but I don’t have that option. I am never going back to this place! Nor I recommend it to anybody!
