Interesting table tops and store layout. My SO and his dad are yogurt fanatics and love coming here. I’ve had the toasted marshmallow yogurt and it was very sweet!
Yogurt has a rep of being healthier than ice cream but I still like ice cream better and they have that here as well.
There’s always a bit of existing dust on the chalkboard so don’t expect a fresh canvas when you walk in. It doesn’t surprise me though considering how popular this place is!

I have been here once, yet I live across the street and slightly up the hill. That should say what I think of the place. It’s just not clean or welcoming.
It’s also your guess as to when they’re open and what they’ll have available. The Unilocal page says 9:00 p.m. but I drive by here daily and never see lights on last 7 – 8.

I know an outstanding yogurt when I taste one… an this place is AWESOME! Wish they had one in Rolando Park, our business district on University Avenue would definitely support it!

The great thing about this yogurt place is that it has a lot of seating… something missing from most Fro Yo joints. It’s nice to have a table for the family! Or, if you want to be even more old school there’s counter seating too. Also, major props for the toppings and offerings… you can’t get Berry Berry Crunch just anywhere.
The yogurt is creamy and yummy and they have hard to find flavors like real vanilla bean and graham cracker. They also have ice cream and shakes although I’ve not had one because they seem jacked in price). It’s also located next to a little Café, a Subway, and a Starbucks. There’s a decent parking lot too. Overall a winner!

This place has the best Acai Bowl in La Mesa period! Trust me. I have had Acai Bowls at numerous locations claiming that they are the best but they don’t even come close. Vipi prepares bowls that are elegant edible works of art! Yeah!

Had some vanilla bean with Oreos and almonds… YUM!
I like that you can just have it to the top of the cup or over it and the price will reflect either one you choose!

Wow. Super nice service. Great açai bowls. Although the nice blonde girl took a long time working on our order, we understood why. She put so much time and effort constructing such a masterpiece. I gave her a tip.

Really wanted to love this place! Sadly it fell short. I heard of yoghurt mill from my bff and she said they had the best in town. Really creamy good quality froyo old school style.
When I walked into this shop I was really confused. No visible sign of the flavors like how it use to be back in the day (before yoghurt land). The store was just too chaotic looking! At the end of the day the flavors were just like yoghurt land but with the inconvience of having to ask for sample. No plain strawberry only the tart stuff.
You might as well do self serve and keep payroll cost down since it’s more efficient.

This place was a little pricey. Close to $ 4 for a very small cup of yogurt, and that was their medium size! The yogurt was just not good. We ordered the strawberry tarte and it tasted like some fake mix, super duper watery tasting and bland. The stuff just tasted fake instead of real yogurt… I assume it’s an add water powder mix. Probably wouldn’t try again.

Nice looking place but I walked in and one person working and a number of people in line. I waited and waited and then left but I really wanted some yogurt so went back and got in line again. Waited until there were only a lady and a couple in front of me. I finally said to her after being told they’d be right with me that I’d had a long wait. Her reply…” you’d wait longer at starbucks” Not what i wanted to hear and i left. Look like a nice selection of product but they need to add a little help and not offer comments to customers such as that.

Best frozen yogurt anywhere. Huge sizes and great prices. Make sure you bring cash & they always have a bogo coupon online. Worth the drive to east county. The building is cool too. Leaning tower of la mesa. :)

I frequent the Yogurt Mill in El Cajon where they «drop» the cups. No dropping here, but they up charge you a quarter for something… what? I am not sure. The kid behind the counter muttered something about saving a cup, but whatever, I wanted my delicious treat dropped.
If you have the chance, hit the EC location.

If you’re in the area and craving frozen yogurt, adequate service, and reasonable prices, try the Yogurt Mill. The consistency of the yogurt was not to my liking as it melts fast and seems milky as a result. The raspberry and strawberry were suppose to be tart, but weren’t really.

They have some great yogurt and ice cream. I ordered the child size vanilla bean frozen yogurt with an almond topping for $ 3.15 including tax. I was very surprised how much yogurt they pack on the little container. (

The frozen yogurt was very good. It was smooth and had a very nice vanilla bean flavor. The almonds on top were yummy and gave the yogurt some great texture. (
) The service was just grand. The young lady was friendly and in good spirits, even though she commented she had been there all day. The place is quite large for a yogurt place. A larger group could be accommodated.

WOW! I could end the review with only that word. I never give 5 stars but this place deserves it. They have a variety of delicious sugar free, nonfat, and low fat yogurt. MMMMM the red velvet is so yummy! I got red velvet/​chocolate combo. Perfect. The thing that tossed this from 4 stars to five was the portion. The cup was filled sooo high with yogurt I was very surprised! I was going to do the drive and eat thing but the cup was piled way to high. I can’t imagine the amount in a jumbo cup!
If you are in the mood for some delicious frozen yogurt with a generous amount of wonderful you need to come here!

We have come here off and on over the years but hadn’t been for a long time when we stopped in today. The last time I came here it was for soup but I was told they didn’t serve soup any more. The girl referred me to the Trolley Stop Deli next door but it was Sunday and they were closed. Today we were after sandwiches for lunch but saw none on the board when we walked in. Sure enough they no longer serve them either. So we went over to the Trolley Stop for wonderful sandwiches and will have to save this place for desserts only from now on. There is a parking lot but the spaces are so close together that it is really hard to park in and even harder to back out, especially with a larger vehicle, but even with a regular sized car.
