Del Taco

I actually used to work here a few years ago and thought it was very low down but that’s due to the manager that used to work there and sleep on his truck during his shift.
Okay, every time I come here it’s amazing.
I always ask for extra vanilla in my ice coffee and they never have charged me extra, the drive through is so fast that by the time I place my order I have my food with in 2 minutes.
The epic chicken Chipotle burrito is to die for and the customer service at the drive through is always great.
Also kudos to the person taking the orders in drive through bc the static is so fuzzy I could never hear what people ordered so give them a break if they need you to repeat something.

This is the worst place to go. If your on lunch forget it you will wast your whole time in line waiting… There is never enough staff working and always a long wait time no matter what time you go.

Tyler is the best drive thru attendant! Great customer service, really knows how to treat a customer!

This is a perfect example of a just below average Del Taco. There’s lettuce and cheese under the tables, on the tables, and an old trays just left lying around.
Ordered 2 grilled chicken soft tacos — flawless. 1 chicken roller — tortilla was hard and almost stale-​like. At least the fountain drinks were exceptionally fizzy!

Wasn’t really pleased with the drive through they took a long time. Also the person who I gave my money to was putting my food in the bag they didn’t even clean there hands or put gloves on.

Last time I come here for lunch. First off, the guy that works the drive-​thru is a moron. They have THREE salads… chicken bacon, mexican cobb, and taco salad. I kept telling him I wanted the taco salad… he kept asking me, «Which one?»…i said TACO salad. He didn’t get it, smh!!! I finally said Signature Taco Salad? Then he got it. Moron man. Then I said large fries, please… he said large Sprite? Ugh forget it. I ate this Taco Salad and it was disgusting, I literally had the worst stomach pains right after. He probably did something to my food! Never going back. Awful experience. Go to Farmer Boys next door if you’re in the area and you’re hungry. Save your butthole from the pain.

They’re drive through was fairly fast. They have a lot of different options, and their value menu is really good. Their drive through speaker is pretty bad though, so it can be hard to understand what the other person is say. Can’t say anything for the interior, as I’ve never been inside.
I had a bean rice and cheese burrito and some of their fries. Their fries are actually pretty good, no major complaints here!

I have to say, after today I had great customer service at this location! The gentleman named Tyler took my order! He recommended there latest special, I had to say no only cause I love there double Dell and Deluxe fries with sour creaml. He asked what I wanted to drink so I ordered an ice t then he asked if I wanted lemons, biggest ++, cause I am a waiter at a restaurant. The way he handled the whole order was very professional, very upbeat and happy. Thank you Tyler!!! I hope I get you ever time I visit deltaco!!!

Just tried ordering on the drive thru, started ny order then the girl says theyre only accepting cash! Well put a sign on the screen! !!! Put a sign before you enter the drive thru!!! Im sitting in a 10 min wait through this line and cant get out of it now. This place has horrible customer service as well. If I could give this a NO STAR rate I would, but I HAVE to put one.

Food is always fresh and the customer service is outstanding. I never liked Del Taco until I came here.

As far as Del Tacos go, this must be THE slowest location ever. If you have a few minutes, head to the one in Santa Fe springs down Imperial instead. The food is par for the course — typical del taco faire — but maybe a little more lukewarm than it should be regarding how long it takes to get out of there. Bathrooms are outside, fairly clean looking.

I don’t know why but this drive-​thru takes fooooreeeever. Takes forever to place the order and takes forever to get my food. And I never feel like the food is cooked completely, especially the quesadillas, the cheese is never fully melted and fries are cold. The only reason I go to this location is cause it’s conveniently close to where i live. I will always be a Del Taco lover, but this location has been by far the most disappointing as far as the food and ridiculous amount of time I spend in a drive-​thru. Service is great but that’s about it.

Went here several times and they always get my order wrong drive-​thru and in-​restaurant. We always see employees goofing off inside and outside of the restaurant. They once told me to read the coupon and I misunderstood it. After reading it aloud and explaining it they still didn’t understand and said I was at fault. Then I was shortly told I understood the coupon correctly and they were at fault after the manager corrected the employee… The manager should have stepped in before I left the counter. Instead he just watched and made the whole experience worse by making me walk all the way back to the counter. Poor service!

Two stars because the service is nice, keeps the place clean and the food is cheap and fresh.
However, like in all Del Taco’s, the food is bland, tasteless and fake. I don’t even know why I went there…

Only come to this particular location occasionally. But, I’ve never had any kind of problem. Food is hot. Pricing is low. And the counter personnel have always been friendly and accommodating!

Other than the Del Taco that gave me food poisoning, this is by far the worst location I’ve been to. This is unfortunate since this location is 3 min from my house, and I’m accustomed to coming very often (I likely won’t be returning anymore after all the negative experiences. I’ve finally hit my limit.). Don’t get me wrong, I’m an extremely loyal Del Taco customer, and I eat there often. This review isn’t based on a single experience, it’s based literally on hundreds over the years.
There are countless problems at this location, and they really need to have new management. They constantly make mistakes with the orders, so I’d advise not making any special requests in your order. Food is often cold and overcooked. They tend to also be unsanitary here. More than once, I’ve seen employees who make the food also handling business at the registers. There are extremely long wait times, especially in the drive thru; even when the restaurant isn’t busy. I once waited 20 minutes in the drive thru.
I’ve also had trouble using coupons. I’ve been told outright that I wasn’t allowed to use a coupon for a particular reason, even when what they told me was nowhere on the coupon. For quite a while (probably as a result of being evaluated because of their poor service), they’ve also printed instructions on receipts that say that if you fill out a short survey about your experience there online, you can either receive: 1 free chicken soft taco with any order, 1 free ½ lb bean and cheese burrito with any order, or $ 1 off any purchase of $ 3 or more. The survey only takes a few minutes, so I always do them and save them for the future when I return. Almost always, I’ve opted to use the $ 1 off option. Up until last week, I’d never had a problem doing this. Then, on one particular visit, I ordered as I usually do, pulled up to the window, and gave the cashier my coupon. He was a different guy than the one who took my order, whose voice I recognized as one of the managers. He put through the coupon, and I handed him the rest of the money to pay for my food. The manager ran over and asked what he was doing. He said he was finishing processing my payment, and the manager got all irritated saying that you could only use that coupon if you ordered a combo meal. This is an outright lie. Nowhere on the coupon does it say that. It specifically says «$ 1 off any purchase $ 3 or more.» He told the cashier that I could use it this one time, but if I wanted to use it in the future, I’d have to order a combo meal. Like I said, I’ve never had a problem using this coupon in this exact way numerous times before. Not one other employee has ever said this to me. So basically the poor cashier got in trouble for doing nothing wrong.
Overall, the customer service here is extremely lackluster. Most of the employees look angry all the time, and only a few of them are ever friendly. This is completely unfortunate since this used to be a great location years ago. Everything has gone completely downhill. I don’t care how hungry you are, I’d recommend going somewhere else, or even going out of your way to another Del Taco to avoid this one.

Yes this is one of the places I go when I only have a few dollars to my name and I can’t afford anything else. It is one of the places I will consider eating instead of many other places. The only cringe I have about this place is the service is a little slow.
Sometimes they also mess up on your order but hey I shouldn’t expect that much from Del Taco. I doubt they are giving their employees great perks for working here.
This one is located in the same plaza as Home Depot and there is a drive through if you don’t want to go inside. The things I like ordering here is the Chili Cheese Fries and a Strawberry Shake.
You must be wondering wow that is a lot of calories and yes it is! But it does taste pretty good! The Strawberry shake taste soo fatty but I would say it is one of the best shakes when your not willing to pay $ 10.00 for one!
Also the chili cheese fries aren’t the best that I have had but they are good when you are trying to save some money! So if you can always splurge than. don’t come to Del Taco but if you are needing to save up some cash and not spend soo much this is the place to go and just get your grub on !

I can’t justify giving a fast food place more than 3 stars but in my book, 3 stars for any fast food place is pretty damn good.
If I had to choose one fast food restaurant to live on for the rest of my life, it would have to be Del Taco. I’m not going to waste time talking about the décor or the service… it’s freaking Del Taco.
Growing up, my go to order was always Chili Cheese Fries (no sour cream please if I went with the deluxe) and a Chicken Quesadilla. Both of these items r consistently good. The Chili Cheese Fries at Del Taco are by far the best Chili Cheese fries among fast food restaurants. Yes, they’re better than Weinerschnitzel imo
Additionally, the ½ lb Bean and Cheese burritos at Del Taco with Green or Red Sauce are quite good for their super low price. I mean they ain’t no Al & Bea’s Bean and Cheese burritos but I like them.
Other good eats are: Del Classic Chicken Burrito, Shredded Beef Burrito, and any of the Big Fat Tacos. I also hear their burgers aren’t bad since they soak up the Mexican flavors of the grill.

I love del taco. I love del taco even more with coupons.
I normally go to the one in Santa Fe Springs… but we were out shopping and decided to goto to this one.
The one star goes for it’s cleanliness…
the poor review comes with my experience at this location. Now the manager here must have hired 16 year olds going through puberty. before we walked in a worker comes out screaming because they were about to pour water on her.
So there you go… not busy.
I goto place my order and started to hand the coupons. then the dude goes… you can only have one coupon. I’m like WTH. So then I split the order with my wife and I pay my own. Then she places the order and he doesn’t allow her to use a coupon because I used it.
We split the order and paid separate… he didn’t even allow it.
hungry she still buys it all at full price.
then… we overheard that he was just being a dick from his other co-​workers and should have said sorry and accepted the damn coupon. I’ve gone to other locations and they took all coupons. no problem.
none… no apology… nothing. I went home and e-​mailed their corporate thing. no response either. so here’s my one star post for crappy service from 16 year olds through puberty.
I still go to del taco… but never going to this one ever again. just go down to the santa fe springs one it’s on imperial hwy too unless you want your coupons rejected.
