Salty, salty, salty! Meat and fries were so damn salty. Would’ve been 100 times better if it wasn’t so over-seasoned. Left a heavy feeling in my tummy. Expensive, salty food. Not worth the price I paid, honestly… probably wouldn’t go back even if I was local. Drink the free water with limes, you’ll need it.

Unilocal reviews convinced me to give this place a try. I ordered a philly steak with mushrooms, onions, peppers and provolone. My bf got the banh mi cheesesteak with provolone. They were both tasty. The bread was good, the toppings and were fresh and the meat yummy. The only complaint is how wet the meat was. My cheesesteak went from crispy to soggy! :(

Came here because I got a flyer/coupon in the mail even though I pass through here all the time. I guess coupon does the trick for some of us… no judging, lol. Monday night, sign says closed at 7:00 pm. Arrived 7:02, opened door asking if they would accommodate me, and they did! Check! Atmosphere — Clean and fairly new! Service — 4 people working. 2 in front cashier even though I only saw 1 register, the cook, and some dude who looked like the guard inspector for orders? Or QC person, maybe? I was impressed as it was only me and another 2 people in there. The 2 cashier helpers were friendly and patient. Food — okay, now this is tricky. Because the thing is, I’m not really a philly-steak type. So in reality, I don’t know what I’m supposed to be looking for. But, I will say, I liked it! Had the Classic with onion rings, to go order. The meat was tasty and I loved the softness of the bread. The onions tasted really fresh, so I’m trusting they were and not some frozen version. Cons — price. The Classic is $ 7.79(I think) and it doesn’t come with cheese. I guess when I think of philly steak my mind automatically thinks — philly cheese steak? But in reality, I didn’t want mine with cheese anyway. But I guess for others out there who are expecting cheese comes automatic, well, it doesn’t. You pay 99 cents(?) for cheese. Also, the drink is 12 Oz. This is smaller than the average small. Think McDonald’s Happy Meal small drink. So when you order your drink, pay the extra 30 cents or so to upsize. Would I come back? Of course!

First off, the food is very good for a local spot in La Mirada. It is a nice alternative to the rest of the food around in the area. I always just get the normal philly steak sandwich. The only reason they aren’t a five is that there is only one sandwich size really and it is a bit pricey for the size. Other than that, very good!

Thank you for the great service today… my third time here and hasn’t disappoint yet. The staff is super friendly and food is super yummy. Also the place is super clean. only thing I didn’t like was no public restroom which is a bummer for me as I am pregnant n do need to use the restroom when dining in. I didn’t ask the staff as the sign said no public restroom so I didn’t bother to do so. Will be a regular here. keep up the good work.

Best Philly I have tried in a very long time. I recommend the Cocky Joey. It consist of grilled onions, rib eye steak, and your choice of cheese served on a traditional Amoroso roll. Delicious!!! I will definitely be returning and recommending this place.

This place was INCREDIBLE!!! We met the sous chef and owner, who were absolutely the nicest and friendliest people! I highly recommend the chili cheese nachos — the chili was to die for! Our meal was incredible! We live far away but will definitely be back!

Not really a hole in the wall as it’s cleaner than most small spots. Menu is vast I’ve only had the cocky joe with is the regular cheesesteak it’s really good not as filling as I’d like but still great nonetheless. Even if your not a fan of that they have tons of other options def recommend the place.

Got the Benedict with pepper jack. It was great but I wish that there was more hollandaise sauce. They have a variety so I’m looking forward to tying some of the others. Btw, they have Cheeze Whiz, which is not my thing but I’m sure some would appreciate it In a philly sandwich. Large fountain drink has free refills. Staff was nice and food is freshly prepared.

Came in for dinner one week night with my brother. Fairly small but quaint and clean eatery. Parking can be a pain due to the valet parking for the restaurant next store and limited spaces for the strip center businesses. I ordered with the combo fusion classic Philly combo, added provolone cheese(.99 charge) with onion rings and small ice tea. The quality of meat was good but I felt the portions of mushrooms and peppers was on the tight side. I enjoyed the rings but I also thought the meal was pricy. The small beverage is tiny(like a water cup) but they do give complimentary refills.

I got a whiz wit(Whiz Kid) and my girlfriend got a provolone wit(Cocky Joe). They use amoroso rolls. That’s a huge plus. The sidewinder fries were also good. Only 3 stars though because of the serving size. Kind of a small sandwich. For the same price or cheaper I could go to Philly’s Best and get more.

Omg!!! Went today. Saw it driving my son to practice last night. Braved the rain and stopped in today. Got us both the Wiz Kids. Reminds me of home. I could have eaten 10 of these. The steak was Philly style perfect. The rolls are outrageously home(philly) def going to be a weekly stop . Chris .,

Just placed my first order for the The Buffalo Phil and the onion rings. John Slater, if that is his name(printed on his shirt) has some of the best customer service I’ve ever received at a food establishment. He helped me out with the menu and choosing some drinks that would go well with my order. I’ll be coming back soon now that I found out this place is so close to my job. FYI — There isn’t a tip jar out but make sure to send a tip to the employees here! Standby for my updates with photos of the food!

Sooo yummy!!! The place is so clean and so nice. Very modern looking with a simple yet elegant design. They are earth friendly and encourage recycling. The place is small though and looks like it can get super crowded but the service makes up for it. They use fresh ingredients and make their own sauces! Sooo fantastic!!! Nothing lacks flavor and is just plain awesome. It should just be wrong to have condiments on their table because of the epic flavor packed in each item. Their fusion cookie was so yummy. It was moist and delectable. It had white and milk chocolate chips with sweet coconut pulp like stuff in them. Omg! Original and delicious! I had the Philly Bahn Mi. Juicy and packed with flavor! Thinly sliced beef that melts in your mouth topped with grilled onions, Bahn Mi veggies, chili, and mayo. This sandwich is super filling. My grandparents got The Italian and The Chili Philly. We also shared beer battered onion rings and french fries because the sandwiches come a la cart. They are super picky and could not stop raving about how amazing their sandwiches and onion rings were. They also have iced water infused with fruit available for anyone who didn’t order a drink. They had strawberry infused water today. Very refreshing! This place is definitely a must try if you’re ever in the area. Psh… Make the drive. It’s worth it!

Went to this place to try the Philly Sandwich. The place was very clean and the service was excellent. The people were really nice and the food was decent. I got the Classic Sandwich but I am going to try this place at least 1 more time before I can say this is a great place. Service alone doesn’t make a restaurant. The food must be excellent. The Classic was okay but the meat portion was pretty stingy. The Fries I ordered was average and nothing special. The worst part of the restaurant is the Size. If you have more then 2 people, it’s actually a tough place to sit and eat. The tables are small and if you have 4 or more. You are completely out of luck! If you have a large group and I mean more then 2 people. Then get it to go!

Ideally a 3.5 stars. I love a good Philly cheesesteak, and the idea of fusion makes it better. I loved the variety they have to offer from banh mi to Greek! I ordered the fusion classic and my sister ordered the Buffalo and a side of shoe string friends. The fusion classic consists of thinly sliced beef, green peppers and onions. To add cheese is 99 cents. The meat is cooked perfectly with peppers and minced onions mixed in. There was a hint of garlic. I loved the sandwich, but would have liked some shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes on top. I took a bite of the Buffalo, but was not amazed. The fries were just ok. I’d like to come back and try something different. I saw a nacho cheese and jalapeño option that looks super tasty! A condiment bar would be a nice touch.

Excellence. Friendliness. Flavors. Philly Fusion is a small but clean, nice, and new place to eat! It has an amazing variety of cheesesteaks with flavored ranging from that of Greek to Korean styled cheesesteaks. The customer service is excellent and friendly. The chef is super awesome and makes the food quickly. They have the option to have a bell pepper instead of the bread which is pretty cool and the Benedict is incredible with homemade hollandaise sauce, two eggs cooked to order, bacon or ham on top of an awesome cheese steak. They have great options of toppings and cheese along with a Fuse Your Own option as well. I highly recommend eating here! They have a variety of house made sauces as well, like Buffalo, Tzatziki, creamy horseradish, and more! P. S. Make sure to park in the parking designated for this area and not in Mr. V’s special parking lot.

I have been noticing this joint by the liquor store on my way to pick up Ian every day. So, one of the days I picked Ian up, I came by to see what they had to offer. I ordered their Fusion classic as recommended by the employees with 2 eggs on top. Pros: 1) Sandwich was delicious. The meat was freshly prepared and you can watch it being cooked(+1) 2) Employees were friendly. They certainly know what they are doing(+1) Cons: 1) Parking is a problem. 2) $ 1.00 — $ 2.00/sandwich more than what I would like to pay(–1) I will be back to check their other menu offerings.
