Well I tried to give this place a go twice and I must say I will not be coming back. The food is just ok. I ordered a combo phở #1 and it had a weird smell to it and the spring roll I ordered was a bit tough. I rather just go to phở Saigon nearby or phở Fula in La Habra. Don’t waste you $$$.

Good phở at a good price. I used to go to phở 21 and thought that place was the best until I came here. The service is great too! Unlike other phở places where they barely talk/acknowledge you. Over all this is my new phở spot and recommend it to anyone looking for good simple phở. Oh and the egg rolls were great too!

I have to say pho45 is a great local spot in La Mirada. I didn’t even know there was a lot of Vietnamese people in this small town but if there is you’ll be happy that you don’t have to drive far to enjoy a great phở spot. Most of the time I order the phở filet mignon. But I have had other dishes like the fried rice and filet beef cubes which is also really tasty. Portion size is great I love when places have two choices of small or large. It makes me feel so much happier that I’m not wasting food! Locales in the same plaza as Stater Brothers you can find easy parking since this area is pretty large with a variety of mom and pop stores that are still running their day to day operations. Phở is great for lunch and dinner and if you want the Vietnamese style coffee they also do serve it here!

Food is always fresh, you won’t find any place that serves nicer vegetables! Jason is the best, he’s a manager or an owner or something but he’ll remember you and treat you well :) five stars for phở!

I’m trying the filet beef soup today and it is just as amazing. I also used the bathroom for the first time here tonight and let me tell you, it is so clean and does not smell funky at all. I do not know what the highest ply of toilet paper is but I swear they use 10 ply. I have great respect for those who pay attention to the quality of toilet paper for their customers. No stingy TP folks here :)

Phở restaurants are not my first choice when dining out. In fact, I hardly ever order phở. Wifey likes phở more than I do. She ordered the #1 phở, and she enjoyed every morsel of it. It was packed with meat(tripe, tendon, flank, and rare steak) plus veggies, and the broth was flavorful. Unlike many places, they do not skrimp on the ingredients here! #39 Grilled Pork Vermicelli was my pick. My order was good and tasty. Generous portion for the price. I would order it again. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience here. Also, have to mention that their restaurant was very clean(including the restrooms). Check them out.

This place was just ok. It reminds me of almost every other phở place I’ve been to, meaning that it could be a little cleaner and polished. I don’t see what all the hype is about. I went here a few weeks ago and got a a rare beef phở. The beef was not rare; in fact it was well done and left a scattering of beef flakes at the bottom of the bowl. If I lived in La Mirada I might be inclined to go back and try some other items but there are plenty of other phở restaurants in Orange County.

solid phở shop in La Mirada. It was very empty when we came in; kinda interesting because the weather has been very cold lately. I ordered the #2(filet mignon) and it tasted very similar to any other decent phở shop. p. s. The filet mignon is the same as the rare steak

I’m very particular about my phở, it should be good. I happen to stumble upon this place and decided I’d try it out today due to the weather. Nothing beats a good bowl of phở on a rainy day. The inside looks allot more cozy than other places and they have allot of cushion booths for us that like that vip seating experience. Finally, the phở has a fusion taste and the tai was very delicious. I haven’t tried anything else other than phở tai yet so head over there and try for yourself. My experience was adequate. phở good and close to my home. Great job Jason!

Went here on a double date last night and based on the pictures I see on Unilocal, ordered the shaken beef fried rice. The wait time wasn’t long at all, we got our food maybe in about 5 minutes. First, we were very surprised at how big the portion was for the shaken beef fried rice, you can definitely share it among two people– and you would have been very full still. The taste, was ok, but I was definitely happy with the portion. The ambiance was just very similar to a lot of other phở restaurants out there, simple tables, not too big, not too small. The service was not bad at all. Now cleanliness, I definitely had to make this comment because I saw the waiter pick something out of my fried rice, and I think would have served it to me had it not been for the owner/manager that I saw telling him to bring it back to the kitchen. Which brings me to the owner/manager– that person was definitely a very friendly guy, checks up on us pretty frequently and joked around with us. All in all a solid 4 stars. Would come back again if we were eating in la mirada –and craving Vietnamese food.

I orders #1 and my Son the chicken breast phở and it was really good and tasty. Would come back again when I’m around this city. Love it My son ordered a Thai Tea with boba. Taste very plain, not like the others I’ve had, boba also is really hard but still pretty good.

I ordered the small phở #2 filet mignon rare steak to-go. It was ready and waiting for me in 10 mins. The staff was very friendly; and it was only $ 7.32 with tax! I really enjoyed the rare filet. It was so lean and tender. My new favorite. They gave very generous portions of all the condiments: sprouts, jalapeño, Thai basil, scallions, hoisin, and hot sauce. After preparing my bowl how I like, I poured the broth over everything and there was still over a cup of broth left and plenty of extra condiments. It was more than I could eat, and delicious.

Orange County residents can rejoice! The opening of a Phở 45 at this La Mirada location brings some of the rich flavors of Little Saigon to the east side and the most southern tip of Los Angeles County. The region that represents the bordering towns on the Southeast LA and Northeast Orange Counties — which includes La Mirada, La Habra, Whittier, Fullerton and Buena Park — has a wealth of diversity and some excellent choices when it comes to ethnic foods. Vietnamese cuisine, unfortunately, has not been chief among them. Now that one of the Garden Grove’s most popular phở houses has opened its second location next to Biola University, it finally gives those that do not normally venture out that way a premier choice for phở(Vietnamese beef noodle soup). Their signature phở comes with eighteen options, including beef, chicken, vegetable, shrimp and seafood. Like its original location, the phở has a rich, aromatic and delicately balanced broth, made with fresh and top quality meats and perfectly cooked noodles: slightly al dente and fully cooked, but never mushy, by the time it reaches the dining table. The broth is so flavorful, I could opt to devour an entire bowl of soup without adding additional condiments — including hoisin sauce and sirachi sauce — to the broth. A small bowl of phở will satisfy all but the heartiest of eaters. Prices range from $ 6 to $ 6.75. A large bowl ranges from $ 7 to $ 7.75. It must be worth noting that filet mignon phở is one of the options here too and priced at $ 7.25. SUP Noodle Bar — a popular local destination for phở just 1.5 mile away in Buena Park — charges $ 10 for the same! A major and very notable distinction is how empty this restaurant was at the time I dined here(mid afternoon during a weekday). Business is always brisk at the Garden Grove location and the line is usually out the door nearly from the time they open until they close. Hopefully, the same top quality and reasonably priced food here will win over customers and bring in some badly needed business. This location also does not stay open late, closing at 9pm. The food preparation and menu selection — including phở, com(rice dishes), bun(vermicelli noodles), appetizers, stir fried noodles, desserts and beverages — are exactly the same as the other location. My overall 4 to 4.5 star rating for its Garden Grove location would almost certainly warrant a 5 star rating almost anywhere else. The scale can easily go up at this location. I like the fact that I now have a local spot that offers the same quality food without the lines and wait time. Moreover, the service may actually be better at this location: friendlier and more attentive. Lastly, I was not a huge fan of the fried egg rolls(cha gio) at the original restaurant. It may, therefore, take more visits and sampling of other dishes to merit the highest rating. Until I can offer a broader perspective, I will try to remain objective. Garden Grove taste and prices at a La Mirada location, however, is something to celebrate. Phở 45 is ‘just what the doctor ordered’ and instantly puts it in the top tier of essential must-try restaurants in La Mirada and its neighboring cities. 4.5 stars!

So I tried this place because of all the good Unilocal reviews, and I was not disappointed at all. Phở Ha in Rowland Hts used to be my favorite local phở restaurant, but they kept raising their prices and then started serving their Bun and spring rolls with what looked like iceberg lettuce instead of green lettuce and I decided to stop going there. I guess I am picky that way. Most of the phở places around the Whittier area are pretty Americanized and just plain bad. Phở 45 was surprisingly good! I really wasn’t expecting to like it, to be honest, but their peanut sauce had a nice, thick consistency and was spot on. Spring rolls, bun, and phở with filet mignon were delicious and not oily. The meat in the phở was sooooo tender! As far as service and ambience go, it is a typical phở restaurant. You come, eat, and leave. The service is good, esp for a phở restaurant, and the servers speak English. That’s good enough for me to earn 4 stars!

Excellent service, excellent food. We ordered 2 rice entrees-one with pork and the other with cubed beef. Both entrees were delicious! Great flavors, reasonable portion size, and both served with a generous amount of vegetables including lettuce, sliced tomatos and cucumbers, and shredded carrots. We also ordered rare beef phở soup. Love that the noodles are very thin. The broth also had a great flavor. We also appreciated that the kids were offered small complimentary bowls of phở with the meal! The kids and adults in our group enjoyed the meal. I would have given 4 stars but after reading more reviews, I found: 2 reviewers saw a cockroach on the restaurant floor And Another reviewer said that Unilocal reviews may be inaccurate because owner was offering a free drink in exchange for a glowing Unilocal review.

Craving phở, we decided to come here since it is close to home. I have a favorite phở place so I’m always thinking of it in the back from my head when trying new ones. The restaurant was a little busy inside but the servers were very quick at seating us and immediately bringing us water without asking. I really like that they did that. While waiting to order their a/c was blowing super cold I was shivering, but on a hot day I know where to come! The music in here is so gangster, I loved it. Haha. The owner would come up dancing to the table and fist bumping everyone. It was a nice atmosphere. The food came out quickly. The phở was very good. Meat was tender. Didn’t best out my favorite place, but it was still really good. They have many other options too. Their spring rolls and egg told were very tasty which we ordered for appetizers. My phone died so sadly I couldn’t take pictures of the food. Next time I’ll probably try something else.

We eat out a lot as a family, almost every meal. So after a while, we get into a rut of going to the same places and ordering the same food. To break the chain, I decided to try Phở 45. I’m glad we did. This place rocks. I usually get the food to go(if you have kids, you know why, hahaha). So when I went to pick up the food. I was a bit surprised that I got two big bags of food and I only ordered 4 items. When I got home I discovered why. They packed each component of the dish individually, awesome. The salad was in it’s own container, the fried rice as well. Not getting mixed flavors which made each component of the dish so much better. Here’s the rundown: #27 Com Bò Lúc Lác — Cubed Beef w/Fried Rice — DELICIOUS! First off, this came with a salad. A whole container full of salad. And that salad was so good on it’s own. Vinaigrette was money on this one. The fried rice(you can have rice instead of fried rice) was good but on the dry side. The cubes beef and the sauce it had was excellent. The beef was tender and the flavor was delicous. Put the sauce on the fried rice to bring it some life. hahaha. So Good, GETTHISONE. #1 Phở 45 Dâc Biêt — combo of rare steak, well done flank, brisket, tendon & tripe. Again, I love the way they packaged this dish. Everything was in it’s own container or plastic bag. Excellent. The broth was very flavorful and super tasty. The meats were tender, even the tripe. Yum. This was one of the best phở I’ve ever had. Get this one too =) #52 Phò Áp Cháo Xào Chay — stir fry Soft rice noodles w/vegetables — The noodles were okay. The vegetables were the star in this dish. Yum! We also tried dessert #55 Chè Dâo Do — red bean w/coconut milk served w/syrup & crushed ice — Winner winner chicken dinner! The flavor of the red bean and coconut milk is a match made in heaven. Delicious. #54 Sâm Bó Luong — lotus seed, seaweed, Chinese apple, longan & pearl barley served w/syrup & crushed ice — I liked this one as well. The syrup they used reminded me of a sugar cane product my mom would give me when she had to give me Chinese herbal medicine /tea(so I would drink that nasty crap, hahaha). Yum! Price was very reasonable. Service was nice and friendly. They have so many other dishes I need to try and I’m glad I’ve found a place to break the monotony and add to the weekly rotation =) 2015 Review #152

5 Stars for the service! So I’m pretty picky with my phở. There was a whole year where my family friends and I ate nothing but Phở every weekend so I might not know what«good phở» tastes like but I know what kind of phở I like. Long story short… I like this phở. AHA Rundown: — The phở is bomb. I tried the broth and I approve — I actually ordered the dry noodles which is pretty good too! I love how their fish sauce is flavorful enough for the entire bowl! They also give you a good amount — The owner is super super nice! He gave us all free thai tea and he already knows half my friends. It’s pretty great. — The price is very reasonable. especially for a poor college student such as myself — the restaurant itself is pretty spacious and clean — my only complaint is that it closes pretty early but that’s a personal problem! — this place is pretty good guys! Come here! p. s. Last time I was here, they were playing FRIENDS

This review is for a «Phone Order». I have not had the«Dine In» experience! Phone order was for a large Phở Ga and 4 Shrimp Spring Rolls. I had been craving spring rolls and found this location that said«Hot and New»! So I decided to give it a try. I had my daughter call in the order so I could just drive by and pick it up! Lots of parking… it shares the lot with Stater Bros, Burger King and a few other businesses! In and out in no time! Ever since that first time I came in I’ve been happy with the Phở and with the Spring Rolls! I’m NOT an expert but I do know what I like! For example, the chicken pieces that come in the soup is cut in chunks not slivers and the peanut sauce is so far my favorite from the places I’ve gone to! The spring rolls are big and crunchy!(Two come per order) The employees are nice! I can say that they have not asked my to write a review for the restaurant! I have had very minimal conversations with them! Just the basics! :) That’s how I like it when I’m on my way home! :D Four stars!!!
