Man, did you rang? Why yes, I rang for man doo! Located inside the Super 1 Mart, on the right of Cocohodo, Man Doo Rang Express offers up dumplings, noodles & other hot plates for those working up a hunger after all that Korean grocery shopping. The place has man doo in it’s name, so I had to order the man doo(dumplings) Steamed man doo I saw the lady working the front assembling these as we waited, so no frozen stuff here. Each being a good size, the man doo was packed pretty well. I asked for dipping sauce, which I was pointed to the soy sauce & vinegar bottles on the table. From someone used to the frozen dumplings that I buy at the 99 Ranch, these were much better in quality. King Beef Dumplings Being Filipino, I’m partial to pork asado siopao with the pork & sweet sauce. The King Beef Dumplings had the same filling as the steamed man doo. The taste was okay. Quality portions for each, but I still prefer my pork asado. Not bad. Banchan was included with our order, which consisted of kimchi & radish. The lady working the front was very nice, being quick with our food preparation, bringing it out to us & even smiling at my pathetic attempts speaking Korean. A fair amount of tables to dine at, which are shared with Cocohodo. Parking is in the Super 1 Mart plaza, which can get quite busy on the weekends. Man Doo Rang Express, I enjoyed your steamed man doo, but was lukewarm with your King Beef Dumplings. Next time, I’m curious to try your non-man doo items to see if I find something that sparkles my imagination. Recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

In any restaurant, it’s impossible to make every item on the menu to be good. However, the main reason that i like this restaurant is that out of all the foods that my wife and i tried(like 15 – 20 items), they do not put MSG in their foods. How do I know? It’s easy. My wife is allergic to MSG and very sensitive to it, but when we eat at this place, she’s a one happy wife. Their ingredients are fresh and in good quality and most importantly, it is convenient. During their rush hours, you might have to wait a little to order or even to pay your bill, but they are very friendly. My favorite menu from this place is called«jjam bbong», which is spicy seafood noodle soup. Strongly recommended if you like spicy food!

Soooo nice… but nice doesnt cut it… Typical korean noodle and dumpling house… just not the best quality… its not bad, but dont expect much… the sushi is well… not my cup of tea there… Its a nice spot… now if they can improve the taste, and stop being ko-wichi with your portions, you may be able to salvage yourselves…

I was standing in front of the cashier for 5 minutes and no one wanted to help me out LOL mind you it wasn’t busy ATALL! and yes 5 minutes don’t sound too bad but not when you’re making eye contact with the owner for 2 minutes of it LOL I swear I thought we were having those«don’t blink» contests. Food, meh, Price, meh, Service, LOLGETOUTTATOWN! Nothing’s better than the original. Word.
