Yummy Doughnuts

I love this place and go every weekend. It’s small, cozy and personal and always the same friendly faces. They have the best kolaches around. Not those small ones that are mostly dough. The best thing they have I would have to say is the sausage egg and cheese croissant. It’s pretty good sized and delicious! Second on my list is the apple fritters. The BEST! And the freshest donuts! Everything is fresh and you can tell. You know, I shouldn’t even leave this review because I don’t want the line to start getting longer…

I was starving, and I found this donut place in food town shopping area it was right next to Little Caesars. I got the glazed donuts, chocolate filled donuts, and kolaches. I was sad when I didn’t have anymore. Highly recommended this amazing donut shop.

Yummy doughnuts has been owned by the same couple for years. I have been going there for a while now and I love seeing them every time. They bake their donuts fresh and you can definitely tell by how they taste. My favorite’s the traditional glazed, but I’m so indecisive sometimes, I’ve probably tried 1 of everything at least once — they have such a variety to choose from strawberry/​chocolate iced (get the sprinkles if you’re feeling sassy), jelly filled donuts, apple fritters, cinnamon roll or twist, buttermilk cake donuts glazed or iced (get the blueberry, just do it), oh and did I mention DONUT HOLES FOR DAYS… need I say more. If you’re looking for something more substantial for breakfast, I recommend anything that comes in a croissant. Let’s talk about the croissants real quick because they are amazing!!! They are so light and fluffy, baked so perfectly that they have this flaky, crisp texture on the outside that will change your life. Sad thing is that they’re so popular, they’ll run out pretty quickly if you don’t get there early enough. If that happens, the kolaches are a no brainer. I mean these people do it right. I almost always get the sausage and cheese with jalapenos because I like to start my morning off with a kick, but that’s just me. You really can’t go wrong with any of their selections though!

This mom and pop location is a must try! The kolaches are made hot and fresh daily! The dough is soft, fluffy, and perfect! They have different size kolaches to a variety of selections – my two favorite is the unique boudin kolaches and the ham and Swiss kolaches. I enjoy alternating my breakfast choices with their bacon breakfast tacos. I believe they scramble the eggs in the bacon so you get the savory bacon taste in every bite. On the weekends, you literally have to beat the crowd for the blueberry donuts and cake donuts. It’s made with fresh blueberries are always the first to be sold out. The apple fritter is just as astounding! It has crispy dice fresh apple chunks in every bite that melts in your mouth! The two ladies that work in the front there are way too sweet. They are extremely nice, and even help you make a decision if you’re standing there indecisive of what to get. You must try this place!
