Plain nasty!!! You order your food, and the person taking your money turns around and begins touching the food to make the dirty burrito. Where’s the health inspector when you need them? F– should be the final rating.

I grew up eating Snap E Tacos! I love the burritos, tacos and chili cheese fries! So happy they are back in La Puente! This is my comfort food my new favorite treat is the Nachos Supreme but instead of nacho cheese, I ask them to add shredded cheddar cheese and it is amazing!

It’s really hard to tap on 1 star, cuz this place deserves 4 – 5 stars. I was in the area tonight, Sunday, January, 31^st around 7:00pm. There was a woman who looked like in her 40’s (heavy set), the other in her 50’s (w/​glasses). Heavy set one is taking the order from the car behind me. The girl orders chili fries then is uncertain what else, while this one is rolling her eyes & saying, «oh c’mon!»…Seriously?! A bit later, the one with the glasses comes to give me my order, asks if I want hot sauce, I said yes, she asks how many, I thought, hmmm?, she then opens her eyes wider with that look like, well how many?!, I tell her 12, she says, «No», walks over to pour the sauce, fills 2 medium containers about ¾ each & says that they are equivalent to 6 small ones. I ordered 9 items, I should get at least 1 for each item! In all the years I’ve been coming here, and I’m 49 yrs old, I have never encountered anyone here with such crappy attitude & poor customer service skills like these 2 losers! The owners need to get rid of these two, they’re gonna cause them to lose business!

I love this place! Make sure to order extra snappy sauce when you go through the drive thru! If a few sauce packets are not enough, they will sell you a bottle for a buck or two. The sauce is to die for…

Honestly this place should be called ‘Greasy Spoon’, worst ever. I don’t understand how they received more than one star. Def not for me. All you Snap-​E-​Lovers enjoy though.

Beyond disappointed! My family has been coming here for over 25 years. And when it went under management and ownership changes, we protested because we loved this place. Why? Because we were told a very long time ago they DON’T use lard in their food. So we continued our ventures into eating burritos buying 10 – 12 on Friday nights (seriously) and occasionally on a whim. Today something prompted me to ask if there’s been any changes in their process since all these ownership changes. Low and behold they use LARD! I am a strict vegetarian for religious reasons and I’m utterly grossed out. When they changed this process I don’t know, or perhaps they always used LARD and we were mislead for all these years! Which is completely unethical. To a meat lover this is no big deal and probably even funny. But it matters to someone who doesn’t touch meat at all. After growing up in La Puente and eating at a «trusted» place where I felt my vegetarian burrito or bean and cheese burrito was not latent with animal meat or byproduct, I loved Snappys and would drive from UCLA to have a burrito. Not any more for me or my large Indian family members. Letting everyone know. And for the future, respect your clientele. If you change ingredients or processes, tell your clients! Just be honest. We live in 2015 when «Food Matters». I’m not asking for a bean, cheese and lard burrito. I’m asking for bean and cheese. Good Bye Snappys!

This had to be the nastiest Burrito I’ve ever had. The chili cheese fries were tolerable. Even the drink was nasty as hell. Iced tea with what I hope were tea leaf fragments but sure didn’t taste like that. Never again

This place is bomb! BEST burritos in the world. When you come here you have to get their burritos with their red sauce & order chili cheese fries but put their red sauce on top. I guarantee you’ll leave SATISFIED & FULL!

I used to eat here all the time as a little kid. The chili cheese fries aren’t what they used to be.

We came here because we didn’t feel like going somewhere crowded, this place was empty figured out why after we got our food, the nachos were weird, tasted microwaved, our tacos weren’t too great either… maybe we could try something different if we ever go back

Had some mixed experiences here. After a staff change things weren’t that great. They weren’t so good at serving you what you ordered and even if you nicely asked them to correct the order they just blamed you and refused to fix their mistake. I’m pleased to report things are going well again. The counter staff is nice, the food is pretty good and they serve you what you ordered. Someone shared some carne asada fries with me last time and they were very good. If you like dining outside on fast Mexican food, you should give it a try.

Done with this place. I liked their soft tacos. problems is the meat wasn’t even warm half the time. So i stopped going but returned every few months to check if they had changed. Was sorta hit and miss with the meat being warm enough. Yesterday 7÷22÷15 about 6:30pm i went there on my way to do some work. I stopped in for some taquitos. 3.99 for 3. That a bit much for 3 plain taquitos in a bag? Anyway when i drove off i took a bite of one. Guess what? It was frikin cold !! I went to return them and get some others. . warm maybe? .. at least? The large hispanic female there didn’t seem bothered by the fact they were cold. No apology, nothing. So instead of more cold taquitos, i got my money back. AVOID this place.

Sooooooooo disappointing! Food was disgusting. I’ll never ever go back. they forgot my taquitos and the fact that I drove all the way back to get them. I shld have just ask for my money back.

New owner running business to the ground. been eating here 20ys. it’s a local joint. Got a new owner some year’s ago (.tacos, bean buritto, taco burger are the bomb!). Locals call her the Dragon Lady :). (SHE HAS A HABIT OF CHARGING MORE FOR ITEM’S THEN THE POSTED PRICE PLEASE CHELK YOU’R RECITE AND LET THEM KNOW YOU ARE DISPLEASED WITH THE PRACTICE) She argues with you over amount of hot sauce. chili fries over rated…(really no flavor in the chili) when the owner shows up she put’s the employees in a bad mood… and they in turn take it out on the customer’s… she sometimes has only one person working (to save money) so. it takes long to get you’r order.

Bought a burrito from Snap-​E Taco and I was not satisfied. The beef seemed to have come from a can and not fresh. Their customer service was the only thing I was satisfied with. More than likely won’t be coming back.

Their «Hot» Salsa is MILD and it sucks! HONESTLY Del Taco is far better than this.

if there was a no star option I would pick that! there food is gross! I ordered there soft tacos with rice and beans, the tacos were ground beef, the tortilla was flour and it looked like something I could have made at home! the rice was the WORST I’ve ever had. I’ve heard the chili cheese fries are good but after the tacos I’ll pass on the whole thing! the girl making the tacos didn’t wear a hair net either so I was looking at my tacos before I ate them. I would rather just go to Taco Bell then this place any day!!! DONT GOOO!

I grew across the street and haven’t tried chili cheese fries as great as these. I don’t live in the area anymore but whenever I visit, my mouth waters just remembering how amazing their chili is.
Number 4 combo is my go to. Real good!

I am very happy to see that the long time owner is back in town with this place. My favorite item, and frankly the only thing I ever order, is chili cheese fries with extra cheese. I have eaten at this place since I could eat whole food– I drive out half an hour just to fill my need for grease-​soaked potatoes, chili, and cheese in styrofoam. This is my favorite place to get chili cheese fries and no other location has compared to the flavor of the chili here. I’m a little scared to find out what they do with it, especially with the occasional B rating I see on the window at the site but I am just sentimental. Thank you for coming back and having this one of a kind flavor!
Lowered car friendly score: 4 out of 5. Just need to be attentive of any potholes but it’s generally fine. No speedbumps. It’s a drive-​thru anyhow with minimal seating.
