This place has wonderful tamales including green corn. These are particularly difficult to make so they are not on many menus. Last night had the crab and shrimp enchiladas… delicious. Others had enchiladas suizas, carne asada and carnitas… All very good with homemade sauces. The family is very friendly and knowledgeable. Daughter is a server and dad rules the kitchen. Great food with little atmosphere and very reasonable prices.

Bermuda Dunes, CA
New Mexican Resturant in La Quinta that was recommended to my on a flight home to Bermuda Dunes. The food and service was good and the prices reasonable. Simple yet effect interior for comfortable dining. The location is a little difficult to find, but certainly worth the effort. We’ve been there twice now and it’s our Mexican Resturant of choice now.

I believe this restaurant is relatively new, which is probably why 1) there are no other reviews and 2) there was only one other person eating there when I went in. It’s clean and an overall good (and friendly) atmosphere. But other than that, it was less than impressive. The chips were stale and we split a breakfast burrito which was «mushy» and mediocre at best. The menu seemed pretty standard. Considering the multiple good Mexican restaurants in the surrounding area, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
