I’m eating at the moment and I accidentally hit my fork on my top front teeth. I had the thought, as I have countless times, of how good of quality these teeth are. And I have Dr. Daher and Dr. Amid to thank. The two of them worked for countless hours, (I used to go to his office weekly) to give me dental implants and a bridge. They literally gave me my smile back after my front teeth were damaged/​lost in a swing set accident when I was a teenager.
For the curious ones, I hit the pole when I was coming down on the swing when I was sixteen. What a horrible time to be what I considered disfigured! I immediately was fitted with flipper teeth and then a bridge but over the years it kept falling off (at the worst of times, of course).
So, when I was about 22, my parents paid for dental implants that would do a better job of holding the bridge. My family dentist, Dr. Bunkers, recommended Dr. Daher and Dr. Amid.
After many months, many visits, and thousands of dollars I got my smile back. Dr. Bunkers said I got the Rolls Royce of cosmetic dentistry. It’s been about fourteen years now and my bridge is performing great! I’ve never had a problem with it, but I do floss and brush regularly. I also stay away from eating corn when it’s on the cobb and apples without slicing them first. But I have had accidents, like now, when I hit my fork on these teeth, yet, whew, my bridge has never chipped or gotten loose!
Thanks, Dr. Daher and nice staff (short Asian lady who I befriended at the time, Hispanic lady too who was also very friendly, and I believe a white woman with long light brown hair who worked the desk and was always warm). If I ever have a problem with my bridge I am coming right back to this office!
