This guy is great Ive been going to him for Dental checkups since I was in kindergarten.

I had my first visit with Dr. Huigens today and it was AWESOME. I was so impressed. I’ve had some terrible experiences with dentists across the country but today that norm was put to bed. At first glance, the office is a wee bit older looking and things are starting to show their age (wall hangings etc), so I was a little leery. I was met by the most incredible admin assistant. She was helpful and kind. Kristen, my hygienist, was AWESOME; sweet, knowledgeable and really wanted me to be as comfortable as possible. Dr. Huigens was very nice and also thorough. I was very pleased with my experience. Usually when I leave a dentist, my face/​mouth are throbbing; this time I had no such issue! I highly recommend them!

First visit and let me say this… I am BEYOND pleased with EVERYTHING about this business. The staff is INCREDIBLE. Not just ONE of them. but EACH of them. From the receptionist right on up to the doctor. Dr. Huigen’s bedside manner is so RARE… I felt at ease the ENTIRE time. He explained EVERYTHING he did, he asked open-​ended questions so he could narrow down what I needed. A thorough exam and teeth cleaning. I’m just say HAPPY with them that I am actually looking forward to my next visit.

I switched to Dr. Huigens over 15 years ago when my previous dentist retired and I didn’t like the dentist that took over his practice. My friend had recommended Dr. Huigens to me as being very gentle and kind. After several dentists and many years of having painful dental work, Dr. Huigens figured out that my body absorbs novacaine more slowly than most. Now, when I do need to have work done, I come in early, I get my novacaine and then I just sit and listen to music while the novacaine takes affect. This is the only dentist I have been to that has not been painful for me. Such a siimple solution but no one else took the time to figure it out. The office is well organized and very prompt with appointments. All of the hygenists are very nice and great with children too. I highly recommend Dr. Huigens office.
