Excellent service. The have a great crew who are very attentive towards customers. Jess went out of her way tonight by offering a complimentary tilapia fish taco after I told her how delicious it was. This is a favorite spot for me and my boyfriend and itwill definitley stay that way.

Love this place! I’ve been going to rubio’s since I was a tyke. I come to this location about once a week! Definitely go for the grilled shrimp burrito! Also, the employees are so nice here! Nat, you da dawg!

The décor change was a great move by Rubio’s. It just taste better when you’re in a great ambiance, enjoying my corn tortilla fish tacos! I can never just get one. Friendly staff but really inconsistent when it comes to grind time. The tacos always taste different when they get busy. But all in all, I will always been coming back for taco Tuesdays.

Great new design inside and still the great food. I wish I can give it a 5 star but the fact that I spend $ 8.80 on a shrimp burrito that I finish in 4 bites and never get full holds it back from being that. I love the food but not the quantity. So now you know.

Food was great! I tried the lobster burrito last night when I came for dinner and it was delicious. The blonde young lady cashier is very attentive and nice. Very good customer service on all the staff. Definitely will come back!

This is a pretty good spot. I always get their kids bean and cheese burrito ha! So I haven’t really experienced most of their menu.
If I go when they have a fish taco special I’ll have a couple fish tacos. They are bomb! They also serve beer which is a major plus.
The sides of guacamole are expensive you’re better off going to the store and getting some. The sauces are pretty good though especially the hottest one.
My grandma loves their fresh mex bowls those are a new product, the Cajun salmon is really good I tried a bite of hers. There are sometimes a lot of people so seating is outside as well. They always have new employees I don’t know if employees don’t last or what, but they are all friendly.

It is always exactly what you expect. Nothing extraordinary in terms of food or service, but I have never been disappointed. The place is clean and there is plenty of parking. Longer hours wouldn’t be a problem, but other than that …

Food is great! Service is ridiculous… 4 ppl working and not sure what they are all doing because we are all waiting on orders and people are standing around waiting to order. Even people who called in orders are waiting around. I think this location just lost my business :/

I love Rubio’s more than life itself. I’ve been a regular at this particular store for about 7 years now. I’m pretty much a living legend there because I always order extremely complicated orders. The cooks nail said orders about 9⁄10 of the time, which is both impressive and delicious. All of the staff there is pretty great, but if you’re particular order-​taker is Kevin, Ruby, or Karina, you’re in especially good hands; if you’re food is being made by Yrma or Alex, then your food is in good hands too.
Defy the status quo and ignore the Chipotle in the same parking lot. They coerce their employees into working off the clock. You’re better than that. Eat Rubio’s instead.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for this place because I frequent it so much. It’s my favorite lunch spot – so I’m here mostly during the week. I’ve not once had an issue with the food… it’s always been spot on and fresh! The staff is AMAZING. For being a chain, you wouldn’t necessarily expect such consistent and friendly service – bravo management. Besides one cashier that works during the week at lunch, I have nothing to complain about (she just goes about the motions, but doesn’t give off the ‘I love my job’ vibe like the rest of the staff does – bit attitude-y…and it’s not just one occasion, it’s every time I’ve been there when she’s working – smile girl, you’re being observed!
Great job La Verne Rubio’s!!! Keep it up!

I have always been a fan. Started having Rubio’s years ago when we would camp in San Diego. Always looked forward to their «taco especial». Was excited when they finally arrived in La Verne. BUT lately the food and service have been awful. Cold food, slow service, stale tortillas, dirty tables… very disheartening!!! And they really don’t deserve any ‘stars’ but you can’t post unless you give them at least one!

We love this place. They have the best ancho shrimp burrito, street tacos and chicken quesadilla. Along with great food they also have mango iced tea. Very refreshing after a long hard day of work. The salsa bar is great. If you have never tried tho place i highly recommend it. it is a Mexican fusion with a healthy twist.

I’d never been to Rubio’s before but I wanted something different so I gave it a chance on a rainy day.
Being unfamiliar with the menu I was super impressed that that counter girl could recommend me about four different items. I picked one and it was fantastic! It was fresh, not too much spice, and I would totally order it again.

We came in late. Really late. Ruby took our order and was wonderful. They had run out of a few things cause it was closing time. Not their fault. It was mine. But they still took care of us. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We will be coming back here for sure.

Worst part of this Rubio’s is the service. We often have to wait forever for our food, and sometimes when it does come it is cold. Overall food is what to be expected. The young girls that work here fall all over themselves when the firemen come in to eat. It seems that Firemen are always in this Rubio’s which is fine, but the girls behind the counter let everyone else’s food sit while they flirt. I have one more bit of advice, the staff needs hairnets STAT.

should have gone to chino hills where I always go. Service is horrible. Cashier had attitude. And everyone else was getting there order except me.

8÷12÷14. Fish tacos have gotten smaller and fish now resembles a frozen fish stick. Big company executives ruin another product in the name of earnings.
1÷20÷16. Fish tacos are better, someone realized the error. New interior has taken on a more euro design. Now looks like Starbucks blended with Chipoltle. None of the Baja, CA charm remains. First they took our fish tank, then our grass patio canopies and warm color palette. It’s modern, without distinctive character. Stop cutting my burrito in half to make modern art!
