Best Omelette I’ve ever had! The kitchen sink omelette has bacon, ham, sausage, cheese and jalapeños. Service was excellent! Keep up the good work.

Food is good. Chicken salad is really good and Asparagus Soup awesome. The service is ridiculously slow especially coming here for lunch. We waited and waited. Only 2 people working the front. Very disappointing.

Second trip here and this time for lunch. As a café would go it’s small and personable. Right off of the highway. Being a local business the people are quite pleasant.

If I could leave this review with no stars, I would. My server was extremely incompetent, borderline stupid. The pancakes were dry and the«Belgium» waffle(it’s a regular waffle from mix) was supposed to come with granola, whipped cream, and fruit, it did not. It was also undercooked and disgusting. I ordered an omelette; it came out as a burrito that made Fast food look gourmet. The crepes were decent, but clearly frozen and not freshly made. We asked for our order to be corrected and the server was so nonchalant we paid our tab and left. WILLNEVERRETURN!

Im redoing my review. This place is hit or miss, it all depends on whos your server. The girl that got me to give 5 stars no longer works here :(the kitchen sink burrito is my favorite though.

Support local! I had a loaded chicken baked potato and the soup de dour. The chicken tasted frozen, which was a disappointment, but I had a taste of the chicken salad and hello redemption.

Chez Caffe is good, but I guess I was expecting a little more based on the Unilocal reviews. I stopped in for breakfast with a few friends while on a Lake Charles trip from Houston, and while we all enjoyed our breakfasts, all four of us seemed to share the opinion that it wasn’t anything special. The coffee was good. I had a black coffee and a friend of mine got one of the specialty lattes. The black coffee was high quality and was made well(wasn’t too bitter, etc). The specialty latte was definitely really impressive looking. All of us got kitchen sink burritos. Again, fitting the theme of our experience, they were good, but really were nothing to write home about. The burrito was pretty dry, and things like the bacon inside just didn’t taste like high quality ingredients. Prices were reasonable for the coffee and food, but beware some of the desserts under the counter. A quick look showed some pretty high prices!

The place isn’t much to look at but the coffee and food is awesome. The regular coffee comes out in a beer mug. The naner puddin was pretty dang good too, and I’m a picky puddin eater. Get the kitchen burrito. It’s delish

Recommended by a local and did not disappoint! I had the chicken salad sandwich and potato and bacon soup, both were excellent. The server and owner(I think) was very attentive and warm!

Great food! My favorite local breakfast stop. I love the croissants and shake-accinos

The chicken salad is to die for… you will be hooked and might even want to order a dish/side to go for the weekend. It won’t be wasted so go ahead and order it. Fresh soups and yummy fresh bread the Chez Caffe was a great experience. Good food, fast service. The décor was a bit of what my friend P and I call«fake flowers» but when you are hungry well it doesn’t really matter all that much. Nice lunch place. And fun crowd.

Chez Caffe is a great place for a quick meal. Their chicken salad is great! They have tasty soups, salads, baked potatoes and a coffee bar. Sandwiches are prepared on your choice of breads, croissants, or as a deli roll(their version of a wrap). We’ve made Chez Caffe a regular stop for lunch on Saturdays.
