Super Buffet

Absolutely awful! I had lunch there over 5 hours ago and I am still sick to my stomach! I only found a couple of the dishes edible and within an hour after eating my stomach began hurting. I literally feel like I am going to throw up. To top this off, we got the bill– a whopping $ 71! for 3 adults and 2 kids! When I questioned it, they said today is a holiday so they don’t serve lunch! I made sure they heard me tell my family I did not see ANY signs saying this. I am quite sure that if the health inspector had been there today they would have gotten MANY violations. Hot dishes cold, cold dishes warm. It was quite gross and I am very disappointed. For that money we could have had a wonderful lunch (or dinner) at Red Lobster or somewhere better! The service was awful– never got a refill of my water. The only thing they do is remove the dirty dishes– but I am sure this is only because they were busy and running out of plates at the buffets.

Cold, old and just not appetizing. Overpriced at $ 50 for 3 people (and that’s with only water to drink). They have a good selection but almost everything was cold and seemed like it had been sitting around a long time (and we went at 5:30 when things should have been fresh for dinner). To make matters worse no one even thanked us for coming in, not even the guy who rang us up. A total bomb.

I do not recommend this place for anyone. Horrible service, not the best buffet, and dirty.
I was over charged for my party of 6 people. When I asked why is it more than $ 14.99 per person they claimed it was the drinks. We ordered one unsweetened tea and the rest water. Once I mentioned that, they claimed its taxes. I didn’t leave a tip considering they over charged me and acted like they couldn’t understand my English after questioning, the waitress was furious and threw a fit. I didn’t have to tip at all if I felt service was not appreciated because it wasn’t, period.
Poor service shouldn’t be appreciated.

The first time my family ate here, I would rate that visit 3.5 stars. The place was clean, the waiters and waitress’ were attentive, food options were hot, and the rolls were above average for a buffet.
The second time was a wreck. It was my birthday and my family decided they wanted to eat out. We decided to come here since our last visit was pleasant. Since it was the weekend and we were a party of 20 people, we knew it was going to be busy. So we made reservations 2 days prior and the person told us they would reserve two large tables.
Like we predicted, it was pretty busy when we walked in. However, they did not have the tables they «reserved» for us. So literally they sat us in 4 different booths and then a table somewhat close to the booths. Very unprofessional.
The food was just ok. Most dishes were lukewarm and the sushi did not seem fresh. The rice in some of the rolls were just not good at all and nothing like I remembered. The unagi nigiri was mushy and tasteless.
It was just a very awkward lunch that left a lot to be desired. Could it have been an off day? Possibly. But to not keep a reservation is just rude and represents lack of good managerial skills.
Just thinking of the experience makes me upset. Will not be coming back.

Rude rude rude service! We walked in and the host didn’t even hung up his phone or took us to the table. The waiter didn’t wait for us to sit down to ask us what we wanted to drink and would ignore us every time we tried to get her attentions. The food has a couple of good
items (chicken wings) but overall nothing really impressive.

This place is horrible! The stuff is completely rude and unprofessional!!! The food is disgusting, my husband eats everything and could barley eat the food. Save your self and go anywhere else!

Dogs in the building, dried out food and when the lady sat us, she scraped something off the table with her fingernail. Not only am I calling the department of health, I will never be back.

The food is ok. The prices are high. The service is well below minimum acceptable.

Saturday Afternoon.
My wife and I tried this and our thoughts are. The food is just okay. They have sushi, soft serve, baked salmon, pork roast. Nothing really popped out at me. Service was just okay. And was really expensive in my opinion. Paid 35 $

The buffet was standard, the waiters and waitresses were impatient in making us pay, dropping by asking us to pay when we still had plates of food in front of us. Then finally we paid and then as my family headed out the door to our car, we had our server follow us out, (I’m assuming since we didn’t tip him cause they were impatient for us to pay.) then he looked at my license plate and and stared at us until we got in our car and left. That doesn’t feeling like good customer service. Idk when or IF we will ever be back.

If there was an option for no stars would be it… Was not happy at all and when presented the check was asked twice if we were going to pay and then once we were leaving the server followed us out to parking lot. I didn’t see anyone else get followed or being treated unfairly from others.
As food goes I wish I never ate anything. Experience was not good and will never come back.

This restaurant is literally a sprawling scene of undesirable food and overstuffed families, with incredibly mesmerizing chandeliers.
If there is a hell, this would be it, as far as I can tell.
But people seem to love it. It does offer a wide variety of colorless food options that all don’t remotely resemble actual Chinese food. If you go right at the beginning of dinner buffet you will get the most flavor, but if you wait until after 7, you eat at your own risk.

There’s a large selection of food — some dishes are great while others aren’t too fantastic. The staff here aren’t too friendly either. Overall, I prefer this establishment over the other Chinese buffets I’ve been to and I’ll be back in the future.

Don’t understand the bad reviews. Brought my daughter in for the crab legs. I like the korean style shortribs. Service was good and our drinks were never empty for long. The sushi was above average for a buffet rest. And the chef was willing to make anything I wanted for sushi. Lots of choices and the fresh fruit was great. I have spent more at places that are just sushi restaurants and not gotten better sushi.

Been here quite a few times, and it is what it is… and, it hasn’t changed since day one.
Hostess and waitstaff aren’t particularly friendly, though I find this is true at most places that are like this one.
The place seems a little ‘divey’ and like it needs some freshening up — but, that also seems to ring true to older Asian-​inspired buffets
Food always seems freshly prepared and warm — but, nothing here is spectacular… good, but not great.
For an $ 8-​buffet, you really can’t beat it. I’ve never been unhappy with the quality or temperature of the food, and most of that I’m guess is because of the price point.

Went in during the dinner rush, the place was packed. There was plenty of food out and a huge selection. I ate mostly the sushi and loved it. Good selection of sushi.
I have eaten here 4 times now and have never been disappointed.
I am leaving only 3 stars mostly because it feels like a cheap greasy spoon type atmosphere, and condition of the dining-​room.

As soon as we entered Super Buffet we were waved over to go to a table. The host seemed cranky and somewhat sick. They do have a huge selection of food and the buffet tables appeared to be clean, but our booth really took away from the food. It smelled like a foot dipped in dirty rag water. Our table was sticky and the floors were dirty. I might have enjoyed the food more if the booth wasn’t so gross.
The food itself was typical Chinese buffet food. I tried the seseme pork and general tsao’s, both being slightly rubbery. I liked their vegetable lo mein and the crab and cheese wontons. I was scared to try the sushi they had available. My theory is that if the front of house isn’t clean, how bad is the back? It looked well presented and was probably kept at the right tempurature, but I couldn’t bring myself to try it.

My husband and I went here for a family meal with our 11 month old. When we walked in they greeted us and sat us in a booth quickly. The guy even ran to get us a high chair and came back to ask what we’d like to drink.
They have a large food selection and even offer sushi and some Mexican food options. The food tasted good and was fresh. The place was pretty full so that’s a good sign.
The only negative I had was that it felt kind of dark. Maybe it was the décor, dark carpet, tile etc., but I think some brighter lights would help a lot.
This isn’t a Vegas buffet, but it was a good buffet with a varied assortment so we will go back.

Was down south and stopped in Lacey looking for some food. This place caught my eye and all in all was pretty good. I’m not sure if Super Buffet had a heyday, but if it did, it was probably over a year in the past.
The water fountain/​fish pond is a little bit sad, but a cool idea at this point.
The food itself is pretty good and I really don’t have that high a bar for such a high variety high volume type of establishment. I didn’t try the sushi although they seemed to have a nice selection. I wasn’t feeling lucky.

Wide variety of food. I would say the sushi bar is awesome and the clam soup were my favorites. The price for dinner is $ 14 which is great for crab and clams. I have to say the crab seemed old and had no flavor. They could work on tidying up the place also. … just a little bit. I will definately be back to this establishment again.
