This is my annual update of this Gamestop. It really is a different experience depending on what location you are at. I came by at about 1200 on a Saturday. They only had one poor soul working the counter. There were at least four customers in line and one was attempting to do a trade-in/sell. The one doing the trade-in/sell was asked to wait while I was rung up. Two of the eight games I selected(you only bring the cases to the counter, not the actual games) weren’t in stock. That’s a 25% stocking error. I was fine with the games not being in stock because I didn’t want to hold up the line. It’s a bummer to wait in line only to find out that the game you want to buy isn’t in stock. So, to whoever is managing this place: Work on the accuracy of what you say is in stock on the shelves, and for heaven’s sake, hire some more people on the weekends.

Most of the employees that I’ve dealt with here are awful. They will make up answers to your questions rather than admit to not knowing something or having to look it up. If you ask to check the quality of a used item before purchasing it, they will act incredibly put out and make it difficult for you to actually do so. As long as the games work, they have no standards for the quality of the used games they sell. An almost flawless copy in the orignal case w/manuals will cost you the same as one scratched to hell with the case covered in bits of old food. Apparently putting it in a blank case or wiping it down it too much to ask. I’m giving them two stars for the one or two employees that didn’t suck, although I had very limited interaction with them. My experience with GameStops in general has been pretty hit-or-miss — some stores are great and others(like this one) make me wish I wasn’t a part of the human race. I guess there is something about being a gamer that makes it more likely to also be a huge douche.

Took my son in today to purchase an Xbox remote and game with his Christmas money. First, we picked a game advertised as new on the shelf. When we went to purchase, the lady tried to sneakily put the game in the case super quick so I took it out to check it and it was covered in scratches. I said«this isn’t new there are scratches all over it» to which she replied, «we recondition the games to make them new» to which I replied, «this isn’t new or reconditioned and you are advertising as new». So I told my son to go grab used case because if I’m purchasing used I will pay the used. So THEN she asked my son if he wanted his pennies back which of course he did(he’s 9) nd she reluctantly gave them to him. So then she had to return the game to get it at the used price, so owed me $ 1.09 but just gave me $ 1 back. At that point I didn’t want to argue any longer and hold up the line so left. All in all, I felt like this was not an honest business. So, one star for you, Game Stop on Galaxy. Your customer service and checkout practices were terrible today. Will not return.

I wouldn’t usually think to even give a review to a GameStop. I come by to look at used games or just to see what’s out there. But seriously, the staff have always been incredibly friendly, on many trips here, and it warranted a comment.

Amazing customer service! Nothing goes better with games then cute, friendly, and knowledgeable, counter girls! Pretty good selection, if they don’t have it, they will call/find it for you at one of the close by GameStops.

I only went in for a gift card and the customer service was excellent. He asked if there was anything I needed help with and if I needed to reserve any games coming out. They have really great prices on all games and units. And they have basically any and all games and units that are recent models. Even great prices online too. I probably will be going back to buy a Wii. I would definitely use this GameStop location in the future. Also it wasn’t super busy especially for a Saturday. Only like 3 people in the store.

this has always been my favorite store for video games and video game accessories. the store is always helpful and friendly and will usually go the extra mile for its customers. As long as you arent rude about an issue, then they are going to do what it takes to make the issue right. This is my favorite location out of all the local gamestops. THEBEST!

I lived in the area for a year and I, sadly, only used this place the last 3 months I was there. After leaving Best Buy after several disappointments I went here. I turned in a TON of old consoles and games to the point of laughter and the red headed guy here had no problem whatsoever. After taking my $ 500 worth of store credit and frolicking through the store I continued to spend a bunch of cash here. I was even there for the Diablo 3 midnight release and they handled it like pros. The guys who work here are knowledgeable, friendly, and made you want to go back. Yes, I am a geek.

Last night(Christmas Eve Eve) I called Game Stop at 10:56pm and a guy named Reed answered. I explained to him that the pre-owned DSi I had just purchased for my step daughter suddenly stopped working. The reason this was such a HUGE deal was because we purchased it as a Christmas gift(which we celebrate on December 24th) and she was supposed to unwrap it in the morning. I asked Reed what time they close and he said 11:00pm. I told him I was at least 20 minutes away. Reed said it was no problem at that he would wait there for me and make sure we exchanged the DSi for one that worked properly. And that is what he did. I got there at about 11:20 and he exchanged the DSi for one that works great! So thank you Reed :) You really helped make Morgans Christmas a wonderful one! Merry Christmas!!!
