Top Stitch Alterations

The lady that owns this place is so nice. She doesn’t accept debit/​credit cards — one time she told me it was okay to pay the next time I brought something in, but I got money out from the nearest ATM and paid her right away. I won’t take my alterations anywhere else. Great work and excellent service.

I really hate when people use their language barrier as a reason for poor service. I brought in 2 pairs of pants that needed to be hemmed. The lady did not have a price sheet and looked at me as if she was trying to see how much she could hustle out of me. Clearly, she made up these prices. $ 25 to hem 2 pairs of pants. I was in desperate need to have them done in one day so I told her I would pay that price if she could have them ready by the next day. She complied. When I got there to pay, I examined my pants. The stitching was not straight, the color was off and I am almost positive she accidentally created a hole and tried to sew it back up. I tried to ask her question but she kept saying she didn’t know. I passed her my card in anger and then she tells me that they don’t have a card machine and I would have to pay in cash. There is a sign hanging up but you can’t see it because she had clothes hanging up in front of them. I was furious. I had to go to the nearest ATM, pay an ATM fee and then come back.
Horrible service. Horrible, horrible, horrible.

The owner here is so amazing! I have taken multiple pieces of clothing to her and she does them perfectly and superquick and prices are extremely reasonable. the place is kind of hidden with bad parking but all of it is worth it. I needed a quick repair on my husband’s pants, she looked at it and said «okay hang on» and put it in her sewing machine and fix it up while I waited and charged me $ 3.

Sun is kind and friendly. She is skilled at the job and the price is very reasonable. I always fix my cloth here and I am very satisfied with her work every time. Recommended.

The old couple are such dedicated, honest, kind hearted people that do top notch work. They are skillful and meticulous at their trade. I would go to no other. Plus it’s affordable. No regret whatsoever.
