Go my nails done by Leah and she did a fantastic job. Very polite and conversational girl and my nails came out so beautiful. Easy to find the place right in downtown Laconia, has street parking and a parking lot near by, and it is absolutely beautiful inside.

I have had numerous pedicure, manicure, and massage treatments at this salon. I have never been disappointed with the quality of service, the friendliness of the staff, or the inviting atmosphere. For a fantastic massage be sure to request Marlyn.

I’ve had my hair done and pedicures at this establishment. The pedis were always enjoyable, and the environment is very clean, which is why I am giving this place two stars. No problems there. It was the hair treatments that I had a problem with. The cuts were okay, but each time I went in, I felt like I got less and less attention, and the service really went downhill. The greeter at the desk seemed pretentious. Coloring was a terrible experience. I had the non-​perm hair color and when I got home I found *chunks* of hair dye in and around my ears, neck and hairline. The stylist didn’t wash it out well enough and the coverage was uneven. She seemed preoccupied talking to the other stylists. I didn’t have any other products in my hair at the time of treatment. While I understand some dye will be visible — I’ve had this done in the past at other salons — the amount of dye that came out of my hair was ridiculous. I spent over $ 100 on my hair that day for the cut, color, style and tip. Never will I go to this place again.

I’ve been here for a walk-​in manicure and a scheduled haircut.
I can’t remember the name of the girl that did my nails, but she was incredibly sweet. The manicure was good– not the best I’ve ever had, but it hung in there for about 5 days.
The reason I’m giving 5 stars is because of my hair situation. I’ve always had super short hair, but grew it out the last few years. Well, I was ready to hack it all off last week and let Samantha do the honors. She gave me an ADORABLE hair cut, listening and making adjustments along the way. I really couldn’t be happier.
The crew there works so well together. There’s no cattiness that I’ve seen at other salons. They have benefits, maternity leave, and I believe they work on salary. The cool part about this is that it removes the competition between stylists. If Samantha isn’t available, I can go to someone else without a problem. They also have more frequent trainings than it seems other places do.
The salon is cute, the people are friendly, and the service is high quality. I’ll be there every 7 weeks or so for the next 10 years or so. =)

I got married in Laconia back in September. Since we live in CA, I was a little stressed out about finding that right salon for me in NH, that could do my wedding day hair and makeup. I had recommendations from friends at home, but I was still nervous since I would not be in the area before hand for a «trial run.»
I called a couple salons for appointments for my mom and I, but none of them really struck me as «the place.» As soon as I called SunDay’s, I felt like my luck had changed. Just the way I was greeted over the phone, made me feel instantly more calm. The receptionist was very friendly, and listened while I explained what my mom and I were looking for.
The morning of the wedding, I was more than nervous. Our appointments were early in the morning and my stomach was already doing cartwheels. Upon entering the salon, we were greeted with the same warmth that I had received over the phone. The two receptionists and all of the stylists where very friendly and my experience here could not have been any better. We were even offered mimosas while we got our hair and make up done!
Sam did an awesome job on my hair and makeup! She did exactly what I asked for and it turned out even better than I had imagined. Although we seemed to have chosen one of the most humid days of the year to have our wedding, my makeup held up! My hair did lose a little bit of it’s curl due to the humidity, but at least many of the pictures caught how pretty it looked before the humidity took over.
