Pros: Clean place. Food is good. Outstanding service, specially mention to our server Tiffany. Tiffany took great care of our party. Cons: need to add anchovies to the list of toppings. Also, it’ll be good to offer wine in addition to the good beer you have on tap.

4 Star Not a 5. but its a high 4. off the bat, you can do unlimited toppings on a BYOP(build your own pizza) an they dont stop you trust me i did aLOT of toppings! When you walkin your welcomed with a huge open space, you have a line area on the left to start your BYOP(Build your own pizza) process. or a BYOS(build your own Salad) to the right is all seating a ton of table an chairs very industrial design Huge outside patio! I did a BYOP. I said i had never been but ive been before: p they have a stock size pizza set price an you get the reigns after you agree. I did a red sauce. they have many choices of sauce, even oils you can do. my base is pretty stock red sauce normal oil stuff. after this is all turn up CHEESE:Mozzarella, Parmesan MEATS: Pepperoni, Bacon, Sausage, Prosciutto VEGGIEGAINZ!: Green pepper, mushrooms, black olives, pineapple, artichokes ‚ HERBS: basil, garlic I absolutely love that the guy didn’t stop me or tell me that was to much on a pizza my pizza tasted absolutely delicious I noticed there was a person listening to my order with the guy an wrote down what i got on my pizza on my placemat with my name on it to be honest for this type of restaurant that is normal. the POS system is cool an different utilizing 2 ipads. one big one for the server an a lil one for the customer to see the total themselves I don’t like the beverages. the cane soda station isn’t my favorite. get a cocacola freestyle machine. that would be very cool! MYFAVORITEPART! of the entire restaurant is the quotes they have all over the walL! on the far right wall when you walk in is all quotes! good quotes! positive quotes! AND there’s a selfie ipad attached to the project Pie laderas instagram. thats really cool way for customer interaction! cool spot close to home an alot of positives !

Another chipotle of pizzas. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad. I’d rank it behind Blaze and Pieology but ahead of Mod Pizza and Pizza Studio. Fine price, fine product, works in a pinch.

I love everything about this place. The food. The beer. The wall of quotes. And the photo booth. The kale salad I got was really good. It was pretty busy when I got there but the wait wasn’t long at all. I cannot wait to come back and try everything on their menu.

My friend and I were excited to try this restaurant because we love Blaze. The restaurant is cute and they were nice, but the pizza was truly awful. I usually like ANY pizza because it’s, well, PIZZA, but this wasn’t worth eating at all. We both tried a few bites and ended up throwing it away. Too bad.

Individual, thin and crispy pies, made to order with loads of fresh ingredients for around $ 8? Yes, please. Sure, the insides are a bit minimalist with a color palette of four(white, black, yellow, and grey), not much in the way of decorations… although the quote wall is kinda fun to read, but you’re here for the quick pie fix. And it is relatively quick. Came in on a Sunday afternoon and from the time we ordered our individual pie to the time it was deliver… oh…maybe 6 – 7 minutes? And it was hot and crispy with beautifully browned and bubbly cheese. The only complaint I would have on our #7(prosciutto, caramelized onions) was the skimpy portion of the prosciutto. There seemed to be only 4 – 5 ‘pieces’ of this beautiful ham product on my whole pie(4 slices), which maybe worked out to 1.25 pieces per slice? Yeah, I may be a bit picky, but I easily would have given another star if there wasn’t an apparent prosciutto rationing going on in our country. Is there swine flu going around I don’t know about? Anyway, pizza was good and I was pleased to see that they also have some quality beers on tap. Not your regular swill, but some IPA’s, whits, and more! They also have a soda machine that has a certain ‘cane sugar’ brand of quality sodas. No Coke, Pepsi, or 7-Up here folks… REAL root beer, cola, lemon-lime sodas. I suggest the ginger ale… it has a very unique flavor that will make you look at Canada Dry sideways in the future. Not sure, but judging from those at tables around us with laptops open, I assume the place may also have Wi-Fi. There is one strange thing though… there is a sole, single tablet anchored to the quote wall that is tethered there for taking pictures of your pie and posting to Project Pie’s Instagram wall. Why you wouldn’t just do this with your own phone and account, I don’t know… the whole thing seems outta place, odd and not the best use of technology. but who am I to say. Decent parking and large outside patio area as well. Definitely will come back.

My second visit here and no improvement. We ordered four pizzas and all were burnt on the bottom yet uncooked on the top. In fact mine only had three toppings but the mushrooms and onions were completely raw. I’m really down on this place.

They are pretty slow moving here. It takes 6 people to make a pizza and there was nobody else in here when I came in. Their crust is very good! Nice and crispy if you eat it right away. Ingredients fresh and good. Not a fan of their soda machine, it is not Pepsi or Coke I think it’s Boylan’s?

Was in the mood for some pizza and wanted to give this pizza place a try. With all the new quick pizza chains popping up lately, I wanted to see what this place was all about. I like the idea of being able to customize my pizza and put on exactly what I want and as much or as little as I want. I loaded up my pizza pretty well but not to overdue it so it doesn’t cook the toppings. The selection of meats is very limited IMHO compared to other quick pizza businesses, but what they do have tastes delicious. The pepperoni slices are on the small side, compared to the other pizza joints, but it works well for the small pizzas. It just depends if you like bigger slices or smaller ones. They use a lot of cornmeal for the bottom of the crust and gives it a nice crunchy texture. The pizza came out quick and tasted great. I will be returning soon to make another special creation just how I like it.

Inexpensive, quick, delicious thin crust with fresh toppings, sugar cane soda, draft beer, draft wine, easy parking, well spaced tables, pleasant atmosphere, and in my hood? These are very good things.

Tried Project Pie for first time tonight. I Always try to support Ladera Ranch businesses. Along the lines with what Wally P indicated, the ‘simple pie’ I ordered lacked sauce and cheese, and was burnt on the bottom. The pizza was poorly cut as well, where I needed to cut proper slices. Needless to say, I had a bad first experience…

Project Pie is slowly but surely becoming my favorite create your own pizza place. They have the best selection of toppings, all the usuals as well as unique offerings only found here. The prices are more than fair and I piled on pretty much every veggie topping as well as creating my own salad for around $ 8 each, you really cannot beat that! Service was great and my pizza done pretty much by the time I paid and found a table. The quality is excellent, everything was fresh and prepared perfectly! So glad we stopped in!

Brussel sprouts on my pizza? YES, PLEASE! Project Pie is casual pizza joint where you can create any kind of pizza you want for one set price, and they cook it for you on the spot. Thats right, as many toppings as you want for one price! They also have numerous pizza combos on the wall, in case you are overwhelmed by the endless options, as well as salad choices for the healthy eater who gets dragged to a pizza restaurant. They have refreshing sodas, and beer and wine on tap. The décor is clean and modern, and the staff is super friendly and upbeat.

New place in Ladera so deff had to check it out. The very clean place and had cute décor. Sat outside since we had 3 dogs with us and everyone was so welcoming of the dogs. Hubby made his own pizza with lots of meat and I ordered # 8. Hubby loved his pizza of course. It was loaded with meat and cheese. Mine? OMG! It was bomb! The roasted Brussels sprouts had so much flavor. They were roasted perfectly! Nice perfect caramel color with a little specks of green here and there. The prosciutto perfectly matched the flavors. I added a little red pepper flakes to make it a little spicy and viola! Bomb!!! Will have to try something else next time but #8 is so far a fav! Yum!

My buddy and I were looking for new place to eat today and stumbled across Project Pie. We had both never been to one of these new«hip» make your own pizza like joints. We decided to give it a try. Upon entering, we were greeted by the Pizza People. Very friendly, all young, asked us if we had ever been here, how our day was, etc… They have a menu board that has suggested pizzas with toppings in which you order by the number or you just create your own pizza with unlimited toppings that you like. I went with the # 2 which comes with pepperoni, Italian sausage, crumbled meatballs, mozzarella, garlic and their red sauce. To spice and sweeten things up, I added pineapple and jalapenos. My friend ordered just a ham and mushroom pizza. The pizza dough is in a ball, they have a pizza machine that flattens/rounds out the pizza and then the pizza people go to work and begin putting your pizza together just as you ordered. After that it’s put into a huge oven that is like 600 degrees or so to bake. Took like 15 minutes total. My friend and I both enjoyed our pizzas! Both cooked correctly and thin crust. Love it! I hate that deep dish crap! I’m getting a pizza not a sandwich! They have about 6 beers on tap that include IPA’s, salads and unique Boylan’s soft drinks that have pure cane sugar. As we left, the staff asked how we liked it. I loved it but can’t compare it to the other«hip» make your own pizza places; with this being my first experience at one of these joints. Highly recommend! Very impressed with how professional the young staff was here!

This is the latest iteration in the«Build-your-own» pizza restaurant craze. Think of it like a subway where you start with a piece of dough and work your way down the line choosing cheese and toppings until you’ve made your masterpiece. Once your done they cook it and it’s all custom. We’ve been here 3 times now with our most recent visit last weekend. Here’s my breakdown of this location: GOOD1: Ingredients… The dough and sauce are high quality and they have a great selection of fresh toppings. They use cornmeal to prime the dough so it create small air pockets between the dough and over surface. This makes for an good old fashioned crispy bottom. This is how it was done back in the day before pizza hut ruined pies with dishes and conveyor belts. GOOD2: They use a Real stone pizza oven. This is a must for any«real» pizza shop in my book. In my opinion you just can’t get a decent pie no matter how good your ingredients are if you use a conveyor belt like pizza hut. GOOD3: They have a good sized outdoor patio. This is a big plus in my book as my little one loves eating outside. GOOD4: They have a wonderful selection of craft fountain drinks, not your played out usual Coke or Pepsi fare… these sodas have some real zing to them and several have real cane sugar which just tastes better. They also have beer ! BAD1: They don’t have any form of ice tea as of yet. They say it’s coming but I’ve yet to see it. This is the only thing holding me back from considering it 5 star since I don’t personally drink soda. Overall… This place is great and even though they’ve only been open a short time they’ve already figured out their flow and deliver a great pie with smiles. We’re definitily fans and will be back again and again. I highly recommend this place, give it a try.

Oh another one of those create your pie shops you say? What makes it stand out from Pielogy or Blaze which are near Project Pie? Nothing really. Maybe that they serve beer? There are 8 pies that are already created by the Project Pie that you can get, or you can create your own. If you create your own, there’s a decent amount of toppings to choose from, but they lack sauces, cheeses, and fresh greens. Pies are cooked quickly which is great. The thinness of it is what I like about these create your own pie spots. For $ 9.xx it’s a good lunch option. That doesn’t mean this place doesn’t come without fault. I understand they’ve only been open for a week and it shows. The people are a bit lack luster in greeting & understanding how to do things. Not only that, but what’s the deal with not labeling the topping choices? I’m sure I am not the only one who asks what is what since I may or may not want it on my pie. This has to be done. Also there needs to be a trashcan outside with a place to put your tray on afterwords. The tray part also applies inside.

We went to project pie today. Wow! This is by far the best fast casual pizza concept that I have been to. I had the #8. It was so good. This pizza has Brussel sprouts and prosciutto and onions. I would definitely have this again. They have a boylan’s soda fountain. These are the cane sugar fancy sodas. This place is a welcome breath of fresh air.
