I had them deliver last night and nearly had to go to the ER. We often order from them and order the same thing every time. Last night they messed up our order and there was chicken on half of it. I took a bite of it before realizing the pizza had peanut sauce on it. I have a severe allergy. I called to complain and they told me they would send me the correct order. When the delivery person arrived, he asked me for the other box of pizza as I was sitting there consuming large amounts of Benadryl.

Great place to have a single slice of fresh pizza. Hmmmmmmmmm Good. I need to try delivery sometime so I enjoy some fresh pizza at home while etching the NY Yankees.

Talk about a waste of time and money! They can’t even deliver extra chicken. McDonalds does a better job! Don’t order from here if you have any special requests. They will charge you and deliver the same crap.

I went to this zpizza and its unlike any zpizza that I’ve been to. I’ve been to the one back home in downtown SF and to a few other Southern California locations and this one has hands down the best customer service. The pizza came out so quick and so perfect and the ingredients there are honestly one of the best of I’ve ever had. So fresh. So clean. So efficient. I love it. That’s all I have to say.

They’re advertisement for«real ingredients» is on the spot! If you’re looking for something not to make you feel guilty about yourself but still have an amazing meal, you found it. I’d recommend their zwings right away, they’re skillet baked and crispy. Their Mexican pizza is amazing too!

This is a horrible black eye to the whole franchise. So dissappointed. We used to love the pizza at this location. Today, I would not call it food I could serve. $ 30 and 30 minutes for one large pizza that we could not eat and 4 drinks. There was no semblance of customer service. We inquired about our food no less than 3 times and only got it because we went up the last time. So much for«10 minutes and we’ll bring it right out to you».

When they say your order will be ready in 35 min, it will actually be an hour. When you do get it, it will be cold and have been sitting on the counter the past 25 min even though you checked several times to see if it was ready. Fortunately I got my money back and after anther 15 min, a new pizza. It was 1 ½ hours from the time I placed my order to the time I received my order! Should have gone to Project Pie in the same center to get a pizza, that way I wouldn’t have spent my evening at Z Pizza just trying to get one large pizza.

The food is okay and decent if you are in a pinch but the delivery takes literally forever. I thought the reason generally parents order pizza around Ladera is they ran out of time to cook something and they need a fast convenient option, well this isn’t it. DELIVERYISSLOWWWWWWWW !!!

Similar to Kim’s review, I had a unique experience. Saturday night, ordered at 530. Was quoted an hour to an hour 15, and called at an hour 15 to check in. Long story short, showed up at an hour 40. By that time, the guy I spoke to on the phone already said he would comp the pizza. I open the box to find a pizza covered in anchovies, that I didn’t order. One of two or three toppings that you can’t just pick off. I called back, fortunately laughing because I couldn’t even be angry at this point. Guillermo(manager maybe?) apologized and showed up at my door 20 minutes later with my pizza. I’ve spent a good amount of money at Z pizza over the years here, and would have shut it off over something like this. Guillermo impressed me to the point where I will order more gladly. The pizza is what it is. It’s not some hidden gem that secretly imported New York water and makes the best pizza you have ever tasted. However, the toppings are good, the cheese is good, and is better for the kids than the garbage from Pizza Hut(can give you a hangover without drinking). Ladera isn’t ripe with great pizza options since lamppost left, but I’ll take Z pizza over the rest, especially after what Guillermo did tonight. It’s worth the extra wait.

I gave this 4 stars because something happened that I thought was very professional. I ordered pizza online and when it was delivered, there was a mistake on the order. It was 5 – 6 ish on a Friday night, so I figured I’d get static because they would of course be busy. Well the manager(I believe he was a manager) replaced the pizza at no charge and delivered it personally to our house in 20 mins tops. You don’t see that kind of service anymore. I will continue to order pizza from them.

We called in for an order and the gentleman on the phone was very sweet and helpful. Unfortunately, I was in a room full of 3 other loud people and he happened to get our order correct AND he didn’t get irritated :) That’s customer service, right there.

QUESTIONABLEVALUE. I live in Ladera Ranch, and this restaurant is in a nice location. It is surrounded by a several quaint looking shops in an upscale shopping center. I went to ZPizza on 07÷23÷15 for the first time. I ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza and a soft drink. The cost of a slice of pepperoni pizza was $ 2.98, or call it $ 3.00. This, to me, is ridiculously high. Consider that you can get a slice of pepperoni pizza, twice as large, at Costco for $ 1.00. The pizza I had was dry and not very tasty. In my opinion, A pizza place should specialize in its Pizza. I was served quickly by the cashier and so I thought the service was good. Based on my experience, I rate Z Pizza a «4» on service and a «1» on food. It is likely I wont be back based on my first impression.

This is a small franchise style pizza joint that prides itself on «better ingredients». I’ve eaten here 6 or 7 times over the year, but 3 of those times have been with my 18 month old daughter just recently. My last visit was just a couple of days ago.(pics posted). GOOD1: The pizza is decent. Honestly it’s not amazing, but it’s definitily not bad. I’ve had the basic cheese and also the pepperoni. My daughter really like cheese pizza so we usually get her a slice while we order from Which Wich next door. GOOD2: The cash register staff are nice and friendly. In fact all the younger employees there are nice. Sadly that’s where the good stuff ends… BAD1: The manager is awful. I don’t know his name but he’s the older Asian guy. In the various times I’ve been in here recently and seen him I don’t think I saw him smile even once. On my 2nd to last visit I remembered I forgot to use my Unilocal check-in offer the prior day of a free slice with the purchase of 2 other slices(called a Z-2). I showed it to the cashier girl and she had to ask how to accept it. The Asian guy came over, had an almost disgusted look and literally grunted«we don’t have that» and tried walking away. The poor girl had to go get him again. He came back and said rather loudly, definitely for my benefit… «if he wants something free just give it to him» It was uncomfortable for sure. Ummm… those check-in offers can only be posted by the business owner it’s not like I made it up. Here’s a pro-tip for the manger … when someone shows you YOUROWN Unilocal check-in offer, don’t act like they’re trying to rip you off. You know already they’re going to report back how things went in a Unilocal review. It sets a mood that’s hard to overcome. The real kicker is that this was my 2nd trip there in 2 days. Also this is the sole reason why I gave it 2 stars and not 3. BAD2: The prices are a bit high. A single slice is $ 3.95 and it’s just average size. Most places like Rocco’s at Kaleidoscope are around that price for a double wide slice and a small drink. Their large pizzas can easily tip $ 20. Overall the place makes a decent slice, they’re not amazing but they are good. It’s a real bummer because the manager(maybe owner) has some serious distance to go with his people and customer retention skills. While I’ll still go and pick up a slice here and there for my daughter when we’re eating next door I don’t think I’ll be ordering full size pies from here. Within 1 mile there are 3 other pizza options in Ladera to choose from. Pizza Hut, Selmas, and The Ranch Sports Grill.

My husband and I decided to order delivery tonight and will not be ordering again. We ordered at 5:45 and finally at 7:15 our food arrived. Both our pizza and cheese bread was room temperature.

Personally, I love this location & have never had any issues with them. Plus, they have stayed in business longer than most of the surrounding shops & restaurants in this plaza so they must be doing something right!!! Their pizza is good, & I appreciate their organic/vegan options. Their sandwiches are also amazing, in addition to their salads being yummy. It is a tight space inside, so I normally opt to do take out, but when I do want to stay and eat, there are plenty of tables out front so it’s not so claustrophobic. They have made some changes since the new management; I love Z-Pizza and always will! Keep at it you guys, hope you’ll be around for years to come.

I’ve wanted to try this zpizza location for a number of weeks and when I finally got the chance to stop by I wasn’t disappointed. Walked in and was impressed at the sophistication of the menu, from turkey to tuna and veggie to meatballs; I couldn’t decide exactly what I wanted because everything looked so, so good… Strange but true, pizza was the farthest thing from my mind. While standing in the middle of the dining area listening to KLOS on the radio, and trying to decide what it was I wanted to eat, a guy in light blue short shorts greeted me by asking how I was doing. At first I didn’t know if he worked there or not… Sorry, but the blue shorts threw me off a bit. He was actually really nice, very accommodating, and seemed surprised that I asked«how are you doing my friend?» after he greeted me, as if to suggest that Ladura Ranch customers usually respond in rhetoricals or not at all… That’s too bad because blue shorts guy was more than willing to offer suggestions and provide descriptions which really set the tone for my entire experience while dining in. I settled for the Pollo Latino sandwich and he promptly rang me up. After the transaction was made I was curious as to how much a slice of pizza was, which he provided, but then suggested the 2z and 3z combos which I more than likely would have gotten if I wasn’t so enamored with reading the ingredients of the sandwiches on the wall menu… C’est la vie I guess; but no matter, I’d surly be back again. From the cozy four table dining room I was able to watch the blue shorts guy prep, cook, and serve up my sandwich along with some BBQ potato chips. In all honesty it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The bread was the standout: light, crispy and very flavorful with a combination of lettuce and avocado that blended perfectly with the spicy lime chicken. Outstanding! It was the perfect 20 minute lunch and I’ll be coming back specifically to try the ZBQ chicken pizza… My new favorite weekday hangout. Thanks guys.

Method of Transport: Delivery Total Price: $ 44 What we ordered: — Large pepperoni pizza with pineapple — Vegan Berkeley pizza with jalapenos Initial reaction: «Wow, this hipster pizza is expensive. Probably won’t eat here again. Le sigh.» Reaction after they delivered seamlessly: «There is a threshold between ‘suspiciously fast’ delivery and ‘fast’ delivery. Reaction after«trying» Vegan Berkeley pizza: «JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEBUSSSSSS» Complaints: There is no Z-pizza near Orange Hills. Recommendation: Get a second job to eat here frequently. I like Zpizza when I want something fast and close to home. It’s about 7 minutes drive for someone that lives in Ladera. Calling ahead and picking it up is the best way to get food from here — most people do this. The first time I went here, we ordered there and some people seemed to think we were crazy for not calling it in and taking it out. They do have seating outside if you want to eat there. It’s a fairly good value for what you pay. I will definitely go back if I want pizza fast in the neighborhood. The reason I give 3 stars is because in generally it’s a place to go for an average meal.
