Nekter Juice Bar

I frequently enjoy fresh juices and acai bowls. About once a weekend I usually get my fix. I’ve been to this location a few times and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. You can expect tasteful food & drink from Nekter at moderate-​high prices. Would recommend anyone to try it out and see what they think.

Great customer service! My girls loved the pink flamingo. especially the color! Great seating inside and outside. Right next to zpizza. plenty of parking. Location is perfect for kids when I didn’t have time to cook!

This place is awesome i have been coming here for over a year now. Zachary the manager of this place is amazing everytime i come in here remembers my order and my name i feel like i am at home everytime i come in nektar is like family. def recomend this place thumbs up zack keep up the good work.

The guys who work here are really nice! Brad and I chatted it up about our broken phones. Whoever made my juice did a great job, I got the toxin flush and it was flush with ginger (my favorite). Like good juice? Like cute boys making it? Come to Nektar!

been here a couple times i only checked in once.
so lately I havent been feeling well an the first meal of the day has been skipped an i have been just doing a big lunch.
yesterday i decided maybe i should do a smoothie from nekter I got a 32 ounce of a lil bit of everything literally protein shots wheat grass the whole 9 yards. an the 32 is the biggest of all their sizes. that thing was macho. turned my day around!
so today i decided keep the good vibes flowin an get another smoothie. this time a 16 oz cuz that 32 was a filling meal. an for the price thing its a lil expensive but if your skipping a meal like i am it seems a little cheaper food an drink is usually around 8 – 10 dollars. an a drink here is like 8 – 10 but its all in one so give up mcdonald’s for a healthy smoothie seems well worth it to me but today i got the berry banana burst 16oz i couldnt think of what to get last time i just modified this time i wanted to keep it simple but i knew i wanted strawberries. the guy at the register helped me out alot. knew exactly what i wanted. like he had did it a million times very fluent. wish he wore a nametag to shout him out
while sitting down an looking around waiting for my smoothie.
previous reviews had said upperscale i have been to smoothie shops when i was a wee lad, JUICE STOP, JUICE IT UP. i dont know about upperscale it seems like the rest. upper scale to me would be fancier chairs those medal seats are back breaking overall though havent ever walked in to this location an seen a mess or messy anything for that matter. I like that the person you order with walks your order to the back an they people in the back switch off. it makes me feel like there is a personability to the order
only negative thing ill say is today when i came this morning there was no nektar logo on the cups. it seems like a good place to have a logo an i coulda sworn in the past youve had cups with the logos on them
in the corner they have the cleanse area which caught my attention the first time i came in this place. i like that they provide detox cleanse options for people i look forward to trying the cleanse
it was a good experience. I will be coming back to try the cleanse stuff !

Brad and Eli made my Monday! I ordered a pink flamingo smoothie and it never ceases to amaze me how kind and upbeat these two gentlemen are. Definitely service with a smile :) so I say stop in at Nekter Ladera Ranch and Brad and Eli will help you… especially if you have a case of the Mondays!

I really love the Toxin Flush and the Acai Bowl! So yummy. My only complaint is the wait time. 2 out of the last 3 times I’ve been there, they’ve somehow misplaced my order. After 15 minutes of waiting, I finally approached them and although they apologized and got right on it, it’s still inconvenient to wait (especially with a newborn). If they could somehow speed up the service, it would be that much better.

boo snooty people. if you wanna do it yourself, then go freakin juice yourself. Otherwise, pay for the juice that you were to lazy to squeeze and pay what it blatantly displays on the menu. wahhhh wahhh wahhhhhhh #firstworldproblems

Well, it is really all about what you order here. After a bad experience my first time I took a longer look at what the flocks of people outside this place order. Smoothies and Bowls both of which, everyone I have had is Great!!! Also they recently changed their juice menu and there is a new beet juice called the little beet. Much more beet flavor, still secretly like the beet juice up the street better, but this is now a very close second!

Also the seasonal pumpkin smoothie makes me so so happy!

I used to like this place when they were smart enough to take your order and deliver your order in a reasonable amount of time.
I went Saturday morning and they’re only two people ahead of me and it took 11 minutes for my turn to order. After I ordered it took me about 10 or 11 minutes to get my smoothie.
It must be that the people they hire are incompetent. I have now gone to the market to purchase fruits and vegetables to make my own smoothie for less than half the cost.
Please, please give your employees some sort of an IQ test to make sure they can do the job correctly.

I’ve been coming to this Nektar consistently for over 2 years and I’ve always been happy. Why? Because I’m a reasonable person and reasonable people have reasonable expectations. The wait time can get rough every so often but my way of handling that is planning for it. I’ve never gone in there while its busy or slow and witnessed any staff walking aimlessly around or not paying attention to a customer. As a manager myself and in customer service, I pay close attention to these things. All the staff are hustling when it’s busy and I thank them for that. Life would be a little nicer for everyone if people were kinder and more patient. If it’s too long of a wait, walk to Haggens, buy the ingredients, go home and make it yourself. Thank you Nektar staff for your work. You all have always been so kind and helpful to me each and every visit which I could easily say exceeds 50 times.

Not bad, but way too expensive for what it is. They recently hiked the prices significantly and started charging $ 1 extra for strawberries. The juice I got for $ 3.95 last year is now $ 6.50!
Not sure how the owners can justify a 50% price increase over 18 months, but I won’t be back.

I love all NEKTER except this one… I just went in to get a drink and the tall blonde manager was sooooo rude i could not believe it. There was no one in line and I asked if I can download the app to get a free reward quickly and she rolled her eyes and was so rude… Horrible customer service

This is an upscale juice bar. They have all the super healthy pressed, squeezed, blended, etc… juices. If you’re looking for some crazy health juice thing this is your place.
I’ve only been here a couple of times but enjoyed it. My most recent visit was with my wife and our little girl and we got a Acai bananna berry bowl. We wanted to try something more healthy as an after dinner treat and were easily able to split this between all 3 of us. It cost $ 8 but was well worth it.
If you’re looking for something to feel good about juicing this is your place.

Only after I sent my comments to Nekter corporate offices did I get a response on this matter. It was obvious that this location’s management did not see Unilocal review until after I message the corporate offices. The general manager of the location called me and left an apologetic message, which was nice. However, I only gave my phone number as a contact number on the message to Nekter corporate, not on my Unilocal review.
Note to GM, please do not leave false statement responses on Unilocal.Most likely you would not have responded unless you were pressured by your corporate offices management. Sorry. Thanks for the gift card, but I will be giving it away. I can not support your business.

Okay so I love nectar drinks and the employees there are always great but I’m extremely annoyed with their ever changing rewards card system. If I recall correctly, over the last couple years it was a stamp card, then it was a swipe bar card, then back to the stamp card, now they won’t accept the stamp rewards card saying that the only way you can get credit for the card is to download their new app reward system, take a picture of your card, send the picture to the app and then who knows what happens from there. I have 1 star left to get my free drink and I shows it to them. Too bad. Gotta go to the app. Couldn’t they just give customers a drink credit instead of forcing them to use an app or get shafted on their reward credits. Pretty annoying after spending literally hundreds of dollars of their drinks. I wasn’t the only one in the store activated by this. I feel sorry for the employees that have to keep aggravating customers with this unfair policy.

I tend to get bad bouts of motion sickness so I enjoy the drinks with ginger in them although ginger can be a bit over powering. I really like it. It is a natural cure for nausea!
Love Nekter; brightens my mornings.

Let me start out by saying that I’m a big fan of juicing and making smoothies. In fact, I make myself one every morning! I purchase organic ingredients and blend it all up in my Nutribullet.
Nekter is a nice juice bar located in a very nice shopping area in Ladera Ranch.
Now here is the breakdown:
Customer service
5 stars: The customer service is excellent! They are super friendly and fast to get your drinks, even when there’s a long line. The guy that was helping me even went above and beyond, offering me a small cup of juice to cover the overflow of ice from a large drink I ordered.
Juices
2 stars: I ordered a large toxin flush (parsley, spinach, apples, lemon and ginger). The 32 oz was $ 8.75. This was a really good combination and I make a similar one at home usually. The ginger did over-​power the drink, but I didn’t mind it too much. The description for the drink is «This drink will help your body to naturally rid itself of toxins in the blood and liver and soothe your tummy too.» Now here my BIG problem with that statement – they do NOT offer an organic product, therefore their juices DO contain pesticides, as spinach and apples, for example are on the dirty dozen list. Technically, I’m not sure about the accuracy of their statement. If their products contain pesticides, doesn’t that mean it will add toxins to the body as well??? They also have a cleanse program… but…I think I’m safer sticking with my usual routine…
