This is not good. I went to meet my daughter to decide if we’d like Cinnamon Productions to cater some of her wedding desserts. I got there early to have lunch and I paid $ 9 for a salad that was so small it was basically a dinner salad. I also had to wait 18 minutes for that tiny salad. My daughter went to the bakery line and waited 7 minutes without anyone even saying they’d help her soon — NO acknowledgment at all! I won’t even describe the state of the bathrooms. I was so upset I asked to speak to a manager. After 10MINUTES of waiting, we asked again about the manager and were told that he was too busy to talk to us because he was in back cooking because they didn’t have enough chefs. We were told that they weren’t prepared for all of the business they got from the local school graduation — don’t they have graduation every year? Couldn’t they have prepared with more staff? They lost the catering order and my business; I’m bitterly disappointed. And still hungry.

Descent small local chain with I believe 3 locations in the area. Service was nice, though it can get pretty busy in the mornings. I like that they have a separate line for bakery items and to go so that you don’t have to wait quite as long. I have yet to try their real food, but the bakery items are ok. Very nice selection, fair prices and portions. Nothing was really great or worth rushing back for, very average and kind of generic. Plenty of indoor as well as outdoor seating, very clean and well maintained.

My daughter and I stopped in for a Cinnamon Roll. Ordered rolls and coffee drinks and went to sit down. We’re told coffee would be delivered to us . Our table was dirty so I just wiped it with a napkin but then could not find a trash can ANYWHERE which was odd . We were almost done eating before coffee arrived and when it did it was cold and my latte was tasteless . Cinnamon rolls were very bland . Service poor and place was dirty . We will try again and order a full meal to see if it was just a bad day there. However was not impressed.

Very good breakfast place. Good for families with young children. Good service. Yummy creations. Try the Huevos Rancheros

The service is horrible. We waited over 20min for a chicken sandwich. They kept telling us the sandwich was already started but it never came out. So, we had to then wait in line for another 10 min to get our money back. Will definitely not come back here.

BRETTISFANTASTIC!!! Trust his recommendations. Everything he suggested to us when we asked about the menu was a hit at our table. Next visit I want to try his Sunday pick of the meatloaf sandwich. Breakfast seems to be the local favorite, but I so far, I have had their Eggs Benedict, Cajun Chicken Pasta, and a few bites if their bacon, cinnamon roll French Toast. All were delicious. Very generous portions. A wide selection of bakery treats, too. Really enjoyed dining in and easily becoming our weekly favorite visit after work. Check in with your SPOT for frequent dining perks :)

Good food. Just TURNOFFTHEAIRCONDITIONING. so cold inside. Many people agree with me. You are making restaurant goers go somewhere else. I always have to put on a coat to eat there. Come on!!! The food is good… Get the temperature correct and you would get 5STARS.

My girlfriend and I walked into Cinnamon Product Bakery last week and all we could talk about is how unfortunate the once kept restaurant has been on a study decline. There were dishes on tables, filled trash cans, bathrooms without toilet paper and the overall vibe has changed. We decided we would much rather dine at their Rancho Santa Margarita venue. I wish the owners would decide to place some extra love into this venue.

I wrote my original review back in 2012 and vowed never to return again. After 4 years we thought we would give it a shot to see if they had improved and unfortunately they have gotten worse. The bugs flying around in the dessert cases totally turned us off to anything in them. We ordered some coffee and they got it COMPLETELY wrong. When asking for a manger they informed us the manager had left early for the day an no one on staff could issue a refund. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice… We seriously won’t be coming back ever.

This location needs a manager, or two, and they should be on the floor and behind the counters(roaming). Everyone working had to be a teen or early 20s, which is fine, but a well trained, experienced, adult manager or two would be a huge benefit to this place. The guy who took our order was young and new and not trained well enough. He had no one to turn to for help except the other young people who were just trying to keep up with their job duties. We got our basic espresso drinks when our meals(which were incorrect) were half eaten. It’s very loud in there as well, so we had to shout to each other the whole time. It feels rather frenzied, it’s very disorganized, people aren’t trained well enough, and there wasn’t a manager in sight, and so we probably will not return.

Been here about 10 times, place is actually very good. Even when it’s busy they move the people through pretty quickly and it’s a great spot to sit outside and eat. My only complaint is it’s a very small menu so not much variety. Management take note; other restaurants solve the small menu variety issue by doing a daily special.

I came here around 2 pm and the place was not crowded. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seats. I picked up the menu and decided to try their Chipotle chicken Flatbread and requested for the dressing — raspberry on the side. Food came about in 5 minutes. Portion size was pretty good. The flatbread was cut into 4 portions. Food was so-so. Pasta salad tasted good and fresh. They do have rewards program. For every visit you gain 1 point. After 10 visits you get a free meal and there are other options too. Since I was in the hood I stopped by here. Other than that nothing stood out much for a café joint.

Seriously? Has anyone noticed lately that it’s REALLYWARM inside? Each time I ask the staff if the air is broken, they say no and two minutes later they turn it on. Worst today, hot and waiting in a line. There’s a wait at the take out line five deep and onen person helping the customers while thus other employee is walking around doing silly choirs like pushing chairs in. I opened the door to let cool air in, waiting, and she comes by to close the door. I ask, «Is he the only one that can help customers? «referencing the guy ringing up customers. She said no, can I help you? Duh, I’ve been standing here sweating looking at you walk around avoiding eye contact. Just saying I don’t mind waiting. But not in a hot sauna.

I totally agree with my fellow Unilocalers that this place is not what it is used to be… I had bought a Groupon deal and wanted to use it today. I ordered the ROASTEDTURKEY sandwich with a side of PASTA salad and my husband ordered the pancake with burritos. After waiting for 10 mins, my dish was brought along with pancakes and we were told that the burrito is coming very shortly… By the time we finish our meal, there was no sign of the burrito. So my husband went to have them cancel the order because we were done with our meal… The waiter all of a sudden brings the burrito saying that it was just sitting not under the warmer but on the counter God knows for howlong… So we returned it and when my husband went to ask for his money back, they offered him a gift card but since we are not gonna go back there ever again, he refused to accept it. There was no manager on duty so now we have to wait until tomorrow to get the money back… What a joke!!! Even one star is too many for this place!!!

Glad I didn’t read these reviews before I went. We loved it! Used a Groupon and got the cinnamon roll french toast, chorizo burritos, kids breakfast and some iced teas. The iced teas were the only disappointment– they need to get a new black tea vendor! French toast, eggs and bacon were delish! Chorizo burrito was great, although chorizo wasn’t dispersed through the burrito– it was clumped towards the bottom. The kids meal with accompanying kids cinnamon roll was perfect for my kid– especially the mini cinnamon roll– what a treat! We waited a few minutes in line and then about 5 – 10 for food on a weekend morning about 10. Not bad at all! They have a giant bakery display– I could have eaten everything! Pricing was great. It reminds me of an expanded Corner Bakery type restaurant. The biggest bummers were the iced tea and the cinnamon roll icing is cream cheese based– so a little sour for my taste– I prefer the straight sugar icing. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We’ll back, and back some more!!!

Tuna on cinnamon raisin? Well things are different here, and choice is not limited. Sweet tooth hounds will revel at the bakery options. But let’s talk about service! Jeez, the owner really needs to step up here. Unbussed tables and employees taking breaks in customer area using clean tables? Lines at the order window, and we are training a new employee? Stand at the bakery window and no one approaches for 5 minutes? So much potential being frittered away. Eventually, competition will close this place. .

I’ve been here a couple times: Positives –the raspberry balsamic is so good. –club sandwich is good(order it on sourdough because the croissant is VERY buttery) –peppermint mocha is better than Starbucks –Apple pie is good — cool cupcake décor for kids Negatives — only one cashier who makes the lattes and takes orders — cinnamon rolls seem stale… Which is confusing because that is their specialty. Tips: GETTHEGROUPON!

Husband got the wrong sandwich from what he ordered. He mentioned it, but the employee said oh then it’s an upgrade because the one they gave him was a little more expensive. Seriously? Employees are young and there was a «we’re hiring» sign on the door looking for a lot of positions to fill. That never seems good. There were more flies and nats inside then outside! It was annoying to have to constantly swat away flies and nats away from your food. I got frustrated, got a to-go plate and left. *our first time here and our last

Second time here. Pretty much a nicer café style restaurant. High quality foods with great variety. It honestly would had been 5 stars but there’s no wifi. The style is kind of like panera bread you order at a counter an grab a table with a number an a server will bring the food out to you. I love the look of the inside of this restaurant big open windows with a lot of natural wood looking furniture(it’s probably plastic) a bright sunny interior, great place to catch up with an old friend or grab a quick bite before a meeting . Has a wide variety of the type of people that come in here. Everything from the mom with 3 kids an one on the hip, to older folks an there coffee, to the young lad’s grabbin grub before a football game . The first time i came here I enjoyed the crusted parmesan chicken sandwich, that chipotle mayo with the crunch of the bread and the slight spice of the chicken phew, it was spot on. so round 2 was inevitable I got the lemon chicken chipotle flatbread chicken sandwich, tongue twister. but flavors are crazy, there is spice but not spiccyy, there is sweet but combined with a savory crunch, again phewee, onllyy thing i would say which to some is a plus. to be at this date april 17th visit, mine was a lil to juicy my flatbread was gettin a lil soggy. but trust me i still ate it. it was more fun to be honest. the immense flavor was great Like I said would have been 5 stars but wifi is very vital now a days . Food quality high end yet still simple an easy
