take out service at the Greenbush location is sub-par. With all the local loyalty, step it up a bit. Add a couple more cash registers to move the takeout line.

I grew up with Arni’s so they are«the» local«go to» place in my book! I have since moved out of Lafayette, actually out of Indiana, but Arni’s is my favorite place to go when I am in town, especially for their Arni’s Junior and cheese garlic bread. However, I will say, their pizza is not my favorite, but that is about my taste, not the quality of their pizza. The staff has always been pleasant and accommodating, even when they are slammed after a sporting event. At this location, they have 3 separate eating/drinking areas; the main dinning area, Toys in the Attic and The Loading Dock. Also, I have been to the newer locations and none compares with the original Arni’s. As their motto says, «See you at Arni’s».

Our first visit to Arni’s and everyone in our party loved it. We ordered salads and potato pancakes to start. My son thought the potato pancakes were perfect! We also ordered a couple of pizzas, an open/faced Reuben and a cheeseburger. Needless to say, we were full and happy. They recommended that we try their pepperoni, which is ground. I liked it even more than the sausage, which I typically order. The service was excellent. Drinks were refilled before they ran out. The menu was extensive with something for everyone and we loved the décor. Our visit to Arni’s was a home run!

I need to preface this with I am very particular about my pizza, I like East coast and Chicago style. I am given to understand that this is how the midwest does pizza. Most Arni’s pizza come out as grease bombs, the crumbled sausage and pepperoni cook on the pie with the grease to do nothing but sit there. On the plus side, I do love their salads, there are always fantastic portions, and quite tasty, I am quite the fan of the clubhouse and adding tomato to it. One of these salads can be enough for a meal and a snack later.

Classic place to go! I never miss a chance to visit. Lots of parking. Good for gatherings. Nice bar! Junior salad with French dressing is the best salad I’ve ever had. Always good ingredients in the perfect proportions! The Stromboli is a delicious sandwich. You get a lot for your money. And the bread is amazing! There pizzas are the best! The only true thin crust pizza that should exist! And the ingredients are excellent. It’s the only place I ever get sausage on a pizza cause they crumble it so small. You get the best spread of toppings across every pizza. The décor in the main part of the restaurant is my favorite. Toys displayed everywhere. I like sitting in the room where the train runs overhead. And I still love peering thru the doll house Windows, to this day!

Came here while in town. The servers were very friendly. We sat in the loading dock and it was very cool. Clean space. The food came out quick, everything was correct. The salad was fantastic. The pizza was pretty greasy but tasty. The cheese sticks weren’t really special but we came for the pizza and salad which were both amazing.

We went there for a Saturday lunch. It appears the previous reviews of this place split between extremely good and extremely bad. We were curious if the food will be good or, greasy and salty, like several mentioned. The front desk girl was very nice. She briefly introduced the different dining rooms and asked us where we want to sit. The waiter was fine. We ordered delux pizza and Arni’s junior salad. The pizza is thin crust, like many mentioned before. So I guess this is purely a personal preference if you like it. We liked it. The toppings are chopped fine, another personal preference. We found it tasteful and evenly spread. The salad has fair amount of cheese and ham but in our opinion, not overly heavy. It was a good salad. The food were not greasy nor salty to our standard. They have several dining rooms decorated very fun. We sat in the Toy room. There were several large groups with kids and the room was not noisy at all. I assume it is helpful that the room is divided into sections by shelfs. Overall we like this place.

This restaurant is a Lafayette staple. Whenever I visit home for a Purdue game or to see family and Arni’s visit is a must. The is the original location and has 3 different themed seating areas. The pizza and salad is what brings me back time after time. Friendly staffing and a hometown feel is always comforting. If you are passing through try an Arni’s junior and pepperoni pizza!

Loved this pizza spot near Purdue! It may not look like much(totally reminded me of an IHOP layout), but the pizza was incredible. Very similar to a Pizza King style with it being thin crust with sweet sauce and diced up toppings. I was very, very pleased! Pricing was reasonable and obviously with any pizza — an easy meal to share. My pizza choice was of course pepperoni, but they had a good variety of other options. Give em’ a whirl. It’s located in a strip mall type set up and I was honestly a little thrown off when I attempted to find it for the first time. I probably just came in the back way — who knows. I’m not from around those parts. :) But! I’ll be back. This was the perfect«visit Purdue and take your brother out to eat» spot.

You really can’t say you’ve been to «the Lafayettes» if you haven’t eaten at Arni’s. Now celebrating its fiftieth year Mr. Cohen’s establishment boasts multiple dinning rooms, an attached bar, and a very healthy carry out trade. You won’t find a clunker on the menu but I suggest you give special attention to the thin crust Chicago cut pizzas and/or the salads(especially the deceptively-named«Arni’s Jr.» or the Caesar).

This place should be on the historic register of restaurants in Lafayette. Arni’s is a staple of the area and has been around forever. It’s a place that hasn’t deviated from it’s pizza recipe EVER. You go to Arni’s and you know what you’re going to get: slightly thin pizza sauced with tomatoey yumminess and loaded with what ever you like on top. My favorite is the deluxe. This stuff is so good that I’ve got friends who bring it back home on airplanes(and Arni’s can ship as well). My kids like it. I like it. It’s my go to Friday night pizza for the rest of my life.

Lafayette’s finest! I love to get the double cheese double sauce… my spouse loves the pep and sausage. We always get a ‘Gutbuster’, which is a very Italian meat loaded sub. We like to dine in per their great service. When we are unsure what’s for dinner… Arnis it is!

Best pizza ever! For the number of years we’ve been coming to Lafayette, I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews from my wife about how good Arni’s pizza is and about their awesome salads. Unfortunately, on the occasions in which we ordered pizza, it came from Pizza King. This time was different, however, and we actually went to the restaurant and I was treated to some of the best pizza I have ever tasted. The brick oven baked, thin crust pizza was amazing. We ordered the deluxe, cheese, and pepperoni and sausage pizzas. Piled with meats and veggies, each one was cooked to perfection. I could not get enough of the deluxe, and my two kids nearly ate a whole large alone! Also, the tossed salad with blue cheese was the perfect appetizer before the main course. Arni’s has now been around for 50 years(1965 – 2015), and I hope it’s around for 50 more!

What a neat place! So many interestingly decorated rooms, all with a cozy atmosphere. I’ve been told this is the place to be on game day! I can see why! The pizza is delicious. The chopped pepperoni is a bit spicy and there’s plenty of it! So good! I also enjoyed the crispy crust. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices! Wish I lived closer so we could come back soon!

Arni’s is a great Indiana tradition. Pretty much everything is good. I’m not a fan of their burgers or BBQ. If this is your first time here get a pizza and Arni’s junior salad and you leave very happy.

My wife and her family love this place and I honestly don’t know why. Thin pizza crust more like a cracker than anything resembling dough. The sauce here is closer to ketchup with salt dumped in it seriously offensively sweet and salty at the same time with no real flavor. When I Order pepperoni or sausage on a pizza I don’t need it prechewed for me slices are fine thanks. Square slices are just wrong as well. The salads are gigantic… yep that’s all I can say about them. This place is a Lafayette institution and a trip here really is complete without a visit however if you don’t buy into sentimentality by a totinos it’s cheaper and same quality. 2 stars are for the kids … They universally love it!

Went to Purdue back in the 80’s …used to be one of our favorite places to eat. Love going back… good memories. Pizza is Pizza King style. cut in squares, thin crust.delicious. My favorite is the Arni’s Junior salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing and real garlic toast bread! Fun for the whole family!

Being from Lafayette, IN this is my husband’s favorite pizza. He talks about it like it some mythical substance. When we come back to visit his family I swear we plan the Arni’s dinners as much as anything else! According to the hubby and the father in law this one used to be the«best» Arni’s because of the ovens. I guess they renovated awhile back and it isn’t the same. We always get a large pepperoni. It is square cut so the outer edges are a bit easier to eat than the middle pieces which tend to be gooey. It is very thin and crispy pizza and the pepperoni are diced(not sliced) — which I like. It is also extremely greasy pizza — which I don’t like. To me it is just pizza. It is unique because of the diced pepperoni and the way they cut it, but it doesn’t haunt my dreams and call me back for more! It is just OK! Service was great here and there is plenty of parking. Oh and if you take out they put your pizza in a bag, not a box. You’ll see… I think it’s weird, but I guess it works!
