Food is really well done but not cheap. We usually go for happy hour and order several apps so we can share. The calamari and bang bang shrimp are a favorite.

We use to love Bonefish! What happened to the food here?! Everything tasted so bland and not the same anymore. Will be our last time returning.

Decided to give this place a shot for brunch, was not disappointed. The staff was awesome, and place is clean. We had the following: — Bang Bang Shrimp — crispy shrimp, tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce — this was awesome, crispy and creamy, simple, yet delicious — Traditional Eggs Benedict — toasted english muffin topped with smoked ham, poached eggs & Hollandaise sauce — the poached eggs was somewhat overcooked, but was not too bad, just taste like your basic benedict — Half-Pound American Kobe Beef & Egg Burger — toasted brioche bun, fully dressed with sharp cheddar, fried egg, & special sauce — burger was very tasty. Full of flavor, and cooked to perfection Would definitely come back here again.

Amazing food and great drinks. Our bartender Brittany was absolutely amazing. The Chilean Sea Basd was to die for and my fiancé’ had the trout. My fiancé’ is a kitchen manager and loved the food. Thomas from the kitchen came to make sure the food was cooked to our liking and made us feel like it was a home cooked meal. I wish more restaurants had people like Thomas to improve the gap between the food and the people who prepare it. Altogether Bonefish won our hearts and our taste buds.

I went to bonefish last night with a party of 6. The service was great, staff was friendly and it was hoppin’. My friend ordered the mahi mahi and I ordered lobster stuffed shrimp. Both had great flavor, but after a few bites, I felt like the shrimp might not have quite been cooked enough. My friend pointed out that her mahi mahi was undercooked in the middle and after leaving the restaurant, I got very sick. My recommendation is that the chefs cook the seafood entrees a little more.

I’ll start off with the Bang Bang Shrimp and the martinis are amazing. Bonefish Grill is a great place to eat and socialize. The restaurant is a great place for after work drinks or just to treat your self to great food. The place is a calm setting that allows you to enjoy being there. Whether you like seafood, steak, or pasta you will enjoy your meal.

I love the bang bang shrimp… We have a group of ladies that pick their restaurant for their birthday … I always pick bonefish. But the last time we went which was about two weeks ago and we informed them it was for my birthday and I didn’t get any special treatment. They would go sing to other people but left us out… When we ordered dessert they were out of almost everything … I asked for the chocolates she said I would get but never got it… I was a little disappointed … But the steak was melt in your mouth good… I’ll be back.

One of my favorite restaurants when I visit Lafayette. My latest experience was on a Thursday night around 7:00 p.m. and the restaurant was packed. Our wait for a table was less than 15 minutes. We were very pleased with the cocktails we had before and during the meal. We started with Rockefeller style oysters, which were were good and filling. We then had a tomato avocado panzanella salad and a Bonefish house salad. The dressing on the panzanella salad was too bold(tart) to eat, the house salad had no hearts of palm in it. Both salads were plentiful in size. Next we had Bang Bang shrimp which is always enjoyable! Now for the service, we had to flag our waitress down several times to ask for a glass of water and our check. Unfortunately I don’t get to visit Bonefish very often and for the first time, my experience was disappointing.

We have enjoyed Bonefish in Baton Rouge. This was our first time at the Lafayette location. Bang Bang shrimp is always good. My son and his girlfriend both had fish dishes and they really enjoyed them. I had the sea scallops and shrimp but with shrimp only served with the mango salsa. I am usually hesitant to get grilled shrimp because so many times it comes out dry. But this time it was not. Was cooked just right and very tasty. Many times we stay away from chains and opt for a local place but we always have good experiences at Bonefish.

The food was excellent! I quite enjoyed the meal as well as the environment. Unfortunately it lacked on good service. Waiter rarely checked in on us. Had to flag him down on several occasions. Overall had a good time. Just wished we had better service.

Love Bonefish especially in the fall when Swordfish with pumpkin ravioli is featured. I try to find a BFG in every town I visit as I travel nationwide routinely. Everything went well my only surprise was I has to physically provide a credit card which they held until I cashed out. I did eat dinner at bar and being a 50 something single diner do not pose a flight risk. It must be the surrounding area?

The Hawaiian orchid martini and pineapple martini were awesome. But I didn’t like the taste of chicken taco with mango salsa. It was too sweet. Edamame hummus was good. I will go back for drink.

Have really enjoyed wine, cocktails, and fantastic appetizers here once a week for the past few months. The bacon wrapped scallops are cooked perfectly. Seared tuna is awesome. Bang Bang shrimp is always good. The servers have been so friendly, as have the bar staff. Dinner can be noisy. Go early.

Every time I’ve been here for dinner I have had a good experience. As many of the other reviews state, the bang bang shrimp is the prime time. I went for my birthday at lunch the other day and it was very disappointing. The service was good, if a little over attentive, but the food really fell short. Myself and another person in our party had the bang bang shrimp po boy. In the first place, it was hard to find the shrimp there were so few, in the second there was so much of the mayonnaise that the bun was falling apart. Near the end, had I wanted to finish the po boy it would have been necessary to use a knife and fork. I love knife and fork sandwiches, perhaps more than most people, but this wasn’t built to be one, just the unfortunate result of a mt. Mayosuvius surprising an unsuspecting kitchen staff. I also got to try the shrimp and creamy corn cake. The shrimp had a very strong taste to them. Not fishy, but almost like eating the gas smell that you can sometimes smell on a grill when it first starts up. In addition, the oil that the corn cake was fried in really needed to be changed. One highlight, the kitchen did turn out an order of flourless chocolate cake even though it wasn’t on the lunch menu. Wow! It was incredibly rich and enjoyable. I will still come back some time for dinner, but I wouldn’t recommend taking lunch here.

I don’t eat on the south side of town in Lafayette often because the traffic is just stupid. With that said, however, I make an exception for Bonefish, because I LOVE this restaurant. I am very cautious about eating seafood at restaurants because I have had some bad experiences, but this place has always been a safe bet for me. Take anyone here, from friends to family to a first or anniversary date. If you’re not hungry, there is a quaint, socially-designed bar area & outdoor area for you to enjoy. My favorite drink at Bonefish is their Black Cherry Guava Mojito. I’ve also had mimosas there for brunch & naturally, that was tasty as well. If you want to dine & drink, there is a nice, dimly lit area inside that is very attractive. Now to food… The fairly new a la carte brunch menu has not yet tempted me, so I have no information about it. If you order an entrée, you will receive a bit of fabulous bread at the table; therefore, budget your appetite wisely or you will find yourself full after the bread & any appetizers. The Crab & Corn Bisque is rich, buttery & full of lump crab, the Edamame is good, the Edamame Hummus is ok, the Mussels Josephine is a satisfying & very large appetizer(consider sharing, even if you order it as an entrée!), the Bang Bang Chicken is divine, the Crab Cakes are HANDSDOWNTHEBESTINLAFAYETTE& the Asparagus side dish is delicious. The servings of most entrees are pretty big here, so be prepared to eat! My one gripe about this place is that it isn’t open for lunch on the weekends, which completely baffles me. How stupid is that?!? I know rent has got to be expensive & the weekend traffic on Bonefish’s side of town should entice the owners/managers to capitalize on the money to be made by being open. My advice would be to go & try a bunch of little things or to share plates with others to find your passion at Bonefish. I’d be surprised if you left without anything but a literal & figurative good taste in your mouth. :^)

Every time I come to Lafayette, this is the first place on my agenda to go. The food here is amazing! My first time eating here was in Baton Rouge, LA, and I have been hooked ever since. There is NOWAY you can come here without starting off with the Bang Bang Shrimp. I have never had shrimp taste so good to me. Please please Bonefish Grill expand your locations so that I can eat your shrimp and be happy. I mean, its this banging shrimp that I come here for anyway. I also love to get the Diablo Shrimp Fettuccine because it is so flavorful! Great drinks, great location. Try it!
