Tuna avocado tuna stack is delicious. And you have to try the frog leg app and get extra bread for dipping. The grilled meatloaf and fish specials are very good also. The crawfish pot pie is a must try. I recommend going a few times and trying different things. The burgers are big and juicy. The sausage board is ok but not worth the money.

All of the reviews are right! This place is top notch. Delicious food, local brews, and exceptional service. I had the stuffed mushrooms and they are FAB.

We went here as a family breezing through Louisiana. Well well worth the 10 to 15 minute trip from IH10. On Sunday evening about 730 pm we had about a 15 minute wait. Service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. All food was fresh, the place was very clean and the taste was unique to us, but really really good.

We went here today on our way home from Baton Rouge. After reading so many positive reviews, we couldn’t pass this up. We drove quite a ways off of I-10 to reach this place. We ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms and the Sausage and Boudin Board for our appetizer. The appetizers were actually really good. The sausages and Boudin were flavorful and the Stuffed Mushrooms were also good and the cream sauce went well with the Mushrooms. When our family goes out to a new place to eat, we each choose a different part of the menu to taste all the different entrees that a restaurant has to offer. We ordered the Crawfish Pot Pie, Cajun Jerk Chicken, Blackened Chicken Pasta, and the Short Rib Frecasse. I really wanted some crawfish etoufee and asked the server if I can get that without the pie crust. She said no. Then I asked if I could have the pasta jambalaya with rice instead of pasta. She said no. This led me to believe that they’re food is prepared and frozen, then heated to serve. We received our food and thought it to be completely bland. The Jerk chicken had no Caribbean Jerk Spice. The Crawfish Pot Pie looks huge but was in such a shallow dish. It was maybe four ounces of etoufee. The short ribs were really tender but lacked flavor. Finally, the Blackened Chicken Pasta was another bland mess. We wish the entrees were as good as the appetizers. We only had one lemonade and the rest of us drank water. Our bill came up to 88 dollars. I don’t get to eat Cajun food often and really had a craving. This one really missed the spot. Needless to say, we won’t be returning to this restaurant.

Sat at bar… Christine, while very busy, was quick, friendly and efficient. The only dish I had here was the Boudin and assorted sausage appetizer with French bread(I was given a basket of delish. garlic bread). Sausage was very, very good and so much that I didn’t order dinner! I would definitely go back… I saw some dishes come out that looked great. happy trails.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner last night. We were seated immediately by a very friendly hostess. Our waiter came to the table and introduced himself, his name is Robert. Try to get him if you go. Robert brought our drinks to table and proceeded to explain several items on the menu. He took his time and did not rush us in any way. We started with an appetizer of frog legs, as we had never tried them before. Delicious! Plenty of bread was brought to the table. Robert told us to be sure to sop up the sauce from legs with the bread. Oh so good! Next onto the entrees. My husband had the stuffed pork chop which was cooked to perfection. I had the fish of the day which was a thick cut of a fish I have never heard of(and can’t remember now).As Robert promised it was seasoned perfectly and super juicy. Simply divine! Sharon, the service manager was also amazing. She made sure we were comfortable and were enjoying ourselves. We will definitely return. A great dining e

I ordered the Mesquite Grilled Reddish $ 14.95 with the Satsuma Creole Meuniere Sauce. For my sides I got the Sage Sweet Potato Mash and the Jalapeño Cheese Grits. The red fish although it was flavorful was a little over cooked but palatable. The sage sweet potato mash was pretty good and the jalapeño cheese grits we’re just okay. Overall the meal was good at a very good price. Despite the restaurant being empty our server was missing in action for the most part. All in all I would come back again because of the other workers at this restaurant and the food was pretty good

This place was simply incredible. I was not expecting it to be near as good as it was but was so pleasantly surprised. Our waitress, Lauren, was very nice and incredibly attentive. She even got the temperature of the restaurant raised after I asked her why it was so cold inside. The Rouler drink is amazing, definitely worth it. The manager came by at the end of the meal and introduced herself and was very pleasant. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in quite some time!

Oh my goodness! This place is amazing. Fantastic sauces and authentic flavor. The shrimp and grits are a must-try. Stuffed mushrooms are also wonderful. While I wasn’t super into the alligator legs, the Thai-inspired sauce served with them was to die for. Great«home» atmosphere and great prices for the quality!

My family and I were stoping for the night in Lafayette, and we wanted real deal South Louisiana food. Steve n Pat’s Bön Temps was highly recommended on Unilocal,so we gave it a try. We really enjoyed this place. Bön Temps was almost full, but they put together a table for five and got is seated in about five minutes. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the food was fantastic. Its been over 20 years since I’ve lived in South Louisiana(LSU) and I guess that I needed to be reminded just how good the food can be. I loved it, my recovering Yankee wife loved it and our kids loved it. We will defiantly eat here again next time we are in Lafayette.

Cute little place with an awesome atmosphere and great service. The crawfish pot pie is amazing as are the jalapeño cheese grits! My husband had the blackened chicken and pasta dish and it was great as well. We are from Baltimore and found this place online and thought we would try it and I’m glad we did! We are here for the winter and will definitely go back! Bön temps!

THISISTHEBESTRESTAURANTINALLOFLOUISIANA!!! I will have dreams about this sausage for the rest of my life. I would highly recommend the Boudin plate for an appetizer– three creole staples in one great dish. Don’t miss the red hot mashed potatoes either. This gem is tucked in a residential area about 10 min off I10. It’s a must for all humans anywhere near this place. Life changing! You must go!

Very nice! Great service, great food, good local craft beer. I had the trout and Brussels sprouts. It was delicious. My son and wife don’t like seafood but found good alternatives they enjoyed. We’ll be back

A friend recommended stopping at this place on my drive back from Baton Rouge and it did not disappoint. Got an app that had chicken & pork sausage with boudin and that was my favorite. I got the chicken & andouille gumbo with a side of cheese jalapeño grits. The chicken was very fatty but the flavor of the gumbo was good. Ended it with the bananas foster bread pudding which was super yummy! My friend got the meatloaf with the red hot potatoes which were awesome and veggie skewer which I wouldn’t recommend. Waitress was super nice, friendly, and prompt. Place was clean and what I really liked was the hostess opened the door for us when she saw us coming from the parking lot.

It’s rare that you can take 11 people to dinner and everyone be super pleased… we all loved our dinner! From steak to salmon or pasta to mahi mahi, everything was delicious. The garlic bread to start is a nice touch and it was warm and flavorful. The side house salad was perfect and the house spicy ranch was superb! Definitely will go back next time we are in town. Friendly accommodating staff and excellent service!

Wow! This restaurant was awesome! I ordered speckled trout with crawfish and satsuma creole meunière sauce on a bed of their sage sweet potato mash with a side of braised brussels sprouts. They were out of trout and they asked if they could substituted salmon in its place. The salmon was cooked perfectly. I’m from the central coast of California and believe me when I say I know a well cooked salmon dish and this one was fantastic. My husband had the crawfish pot pie which he loved as well. Do yourself a favor and if your in the Lafayette area don’t miss this gem of a restaurant. Bön Temps-we WILLBEBACK!

Every time I visit Louisiana for a weekend, I go back home at least 2 pounds heavier because the food is irresistible. This is a great casual place to enjoy cajun food. I shared the Boucherie Board for Two with 2 others, and it was more than enough to feed all 3 of us. We also ordered Sage Sweet Potato Mash and Braised Brussel Sprouts for our 2 sides. I’m such a carnivore, so I loved the Boucherie Board. I had it when I wasn’t too hungry, and I think I still ate the most out of the 3 sharing it. The highlight of the meal was the Sage Sweet Potato Mash. That stuff blew up taste buds away with my first bite, and I’d definitely get it again. Service was hospitable but a bit slow. Though it did seem like there weren’t too many waiters/waitresses, and our waiter seemed to be managing tables and the bar.

Laissez les BONTEMPS rouler”! YESINDEEDY! And that is just what I was trying to do. GETTRUENEDUP with a GOODSOUTHERNMEAL! After a wonderful yoga class I was OFCOURSEHANGRY and needed some grub and since I was in the GREATSTATE or LOUISIANA there was NOWAY I was going to have anything LESS than some YUMMY, FINGERLICKIN, EYEROLLIN in the back on my head GOODFOOD! So to my Unilocal app I went on my not so smart phone to see what hidden gems were in the area. I typed in «CRAWFISH» and hit enter and BAMMM… SEVERAL places popped up for me to select from! Woohoo! I am already off to a GOODSTART! I pulled a couple up and perused through the pics and see what looked YUMMY and stopped on this place! They seemed to have a little bit of everything so JIC(just in case) I changed my mind I didn’t have to worry about the menu options. I drove up and found parking right away. This place is NOT at all big but a nice size for Laffy standards. It sort of looks like a barn or shack from the outside with little to NO lighting but I think that is ALSO the norm here. Just as I turned off the car besty was calling to check in and see what I was up too since he had to work. I passed the name by him but my non-creole tongue told on me as I butchered the street and restaurant name. So shameful considering my fam is from here. I walk in and see the place is PACKOUT so I ask to sit in the bar area as NOT to take up an entire table plus they had a couple TV’s on I could watch easier sitting at the bar. I was greeted right away and given a dinner and drink menu. I OFCOURSE checked out the drinks first! I wanted something DIFFERENT and FUN and unique to them so I asked for a suggestion since a few looked REALLYGOOD and was told that the BLUEHEAVENMARTINI which consisted of three olive cake vodka, Malibu coconut rum, Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur, Blue Curaçao pineapple juice and a slice of orange and it was REALLYDOG-GONEGOOD! I had to put it down because it was STRONG and I needed food to absorb it so I could drive! My mind was on CRAWFISH but I saw GUMBO with smoked bird and Andouille sausage and started to salivate so I ordered a cup of that. I figured that would NOT be enough and I REALLY wanted to try something else so I got the JUMBOLUMPCRABCAKE which is their signature creamy béchamel crab cake, fried with cornflake and almond breading, served on a bed of herb cream and siriracha chili sauces, topped with lump crab sauté. DEEEEE-LISH! The PERFECT crust to hold it all together. I could not finish the entire thing because it was TOOMUCH! Plus I had the BANGINBOMB-A-LICIOUS gumbo that had me humming like a Baptist choir EVERYTHING was SCRUM-DILLY-UMPTIOUS and I had to tap out! I wanted dessert but that WASNOT going to happen. My innards felt like they were going to explode. I basically had to roll myself out of there and to my car. SIMPLYDELISH! DEFINATELLY worth a second trip.
