The food here is great. It was fun the night of the fight a few months ago when the fire Marshal showed up and shut it down.

The name describes the managment. Beer was served quick, and although I was not served food or offered a menu, it I’m was understandable I guess being I was alone and it’s Mardi gras… I was there more so for the happy hour draught. Guy net to me was watching some sports news and kindly asked if the closed captioning could be turned on. Response from the MANAGER was he has no remote for the tv. We ask wbatever brand tv. He says«I’m not sure» without even looking or making an effort. We figure it out and even show the manager«hey look we figured it out with our smart pohone» all. the guy did was try to put captioning on. He was not messing with anything or being a nusance. The manager used profanity rather than take the handheld professional route. Closed my Tab and left before ordering food. Probably a good thing based on the other few times I have gone over the years.

Most underrated burger in Lafayette. Don’t know why they don’t advertise their burgers! Best in Lafayette IMO. Waitstaff is usually attentive and friendly. It’s a bar, but the food is the main reason I go.

Dix is my number one go to spot for relaxing and having a drink whether it’s during the day or at night. They have great specials, a welcoming atmosphere, and the food is really great too! Whether it’s Sunday Funday(50% off with a bar card) or Friday Night Karaōke, Dix is a weekend gold mine. The staff and the managers are the best and keep me coming back for more. I’m so glad I discovered this wonderful gem of a sports bar!!!

I’ve gone to Dix Daiquiri’s a few times before and have had a pretty decent time. But on my latest visit(02/15/2015) which happened to also be my last visit, I had the most unfortunate experience in my dinning career. I walked inside with a friend and we waited 15 minutes to be greeted. It was completely empty; the manager and waitress saw us sit and continued to talk to their friends at the bar. I told the waitress, Arianna how she ignored us and she had some wild excuse on why she did. The manager Garett who was a complete baboon did nothing to apologize for his unprofessional demeanor and lack of customer service. He was rude and just had an overall ugly personality. Great service makes the dinning experience almost as much as the food/drinks itself. Beware of this place and its complete disregard for the customers.

Great place for lunch. Relaxed atmosphere. Great place for a 8 dollar hamburger. I got the Dix burger with a egg on top. The meat was seasoned well and it came on a jalapeño bun. Sweet potato fries had a cinnamon dipping sauce.

Before we ordered I asked our waitress what was good. She told us most people order.(Wings and burgers mostly, but everything is good.) So I ordered wings! They were delicious! It’s a nice chilled place. Good music. Good food! Nice atmosphere! Enjoyed it!

Loved the daiquiris! I had the Bellini and my fiancé got the Dix and both were super tasty! Shrimp poboy was great too and loved the honey cinnamon sauce with the sweet potato fries! Macye and the guy behind the bar were super nice and attentive!

Tasty daiquiris and fine appetizers. The fried pickles were some of the best that we’ve had. The brown sugar dip paired very well with the sweet potato fries.

Very comfortable seating inside and out. Karaōke on Friday nights at 9:00 and its a blast. Service outside is amazing. Price is on track with other places.

Went there once when it wasn’t busy and had a very friendly conversation with the waitstaff. The Daiquiris are consistently good and strong(try the Dix). Went again when it was busy and the service was horrible. Got the wrong size drink(but charged for the larger), had to search for her when we wanted the bill, left dirty dishes for a long time, etc., typical crap service that we are expected to tip 20%. The burgers are ok, otherwise the menu is standard Costco deep fried cancer and in my opinion priced higher than it’s worth. And yes for some reason it was very hard to hear people really close by even though there was nothing particularly awesome to listen to

Almost Famous? That’s laughable because when I grow old, I will tell my grandchildren about Dix’s famous daquiris. #1-there’s a drive thru. Simply amazing for an out-of-towner. #2-It’s like a 7 – 11 slushee wonderland for adults. Thank you and I will come again. Atmosphere in the bar and on the patio is relaxed. On Saturday night, there was live music. Service is prompt and friendly. Head to the bar if you’re undecided and ask for samples. My favorites were the White Russian and the Bellini. Get one of your friends to order a small Dix. Har har har. If you’re staying at the Candlewood Suites, it’s a quick walk.

The review is based on their food, not their daiquiris nor their inside décor and/or service. Their food is actually pretty good, well some. We had the following: — Cheeseburger: there burger were actually juicy and well seasoned, I was very surprised after my first bite of how good it was, never would I thought a decent burger would get out of there — Meat Pies: actually not that great, so much dough. the ratio of dough to meat was like 5:1… so not that good — Sampler Platter(chicken tenders, sweet potato fries, boudin balls): the chicken tenders were quite dry and small… do not get the tenders please. just don’t, trust me. However the sweet potato fries with that buttery, cinnamon/brown sugar sauce that came with it was very bomb! Oh man it was pretty good I must admit. And the boudin balls were pretty good, one of the better ones I ever hard around here. Overall, if you want a decent cheeseburger with some good olé sweet potato fries, this is the place for you. Just beware, if you are going through the drive thru to order food, it might be a while for it to come out, so order a head of time if possible.

Average place. I’ve heard friends say that the food is pretty good. I don’t think I’ve tried any of their daiquiris. Seems like most every time I have been, there are hardly any people there. I don’t know if it is the design of the room or what, but it is always super LOUD! I wish I had more to say.

Before I just had daiquri’s here… until the other day when I was out to lunch with my husband and sister-in law. Lets just say I wouldnt recommend this place for anything other than a bar or daiquri drive thru. I ordered the chicken sandwich … a dry piece of chicken on two pieces of dry toast. ICK. maybe I should have ordered something else. on the upside the onion rings were very good.
