Brewski’s

Brewski’s has changed ownership since the last 2 reviews were written. You MUST go and experience it for yourself now! Menu has changed for the better! While they have changed the boudin burger they did keep it on the menu– updated for the better!!! Try the Fiery Chicken wrap!
The bartenders are excellent! Experienced and awesome! Meghan, Lauren and Katie are awesome!
They are getting a better draft beer assortment so give them props!
Still have pool tables but are a true Ragin’ Cajun sports bar! They have special events all the time! Also DJ’s periodically!
Just an awesome neighborhood bar!!!
The building is still the same (can’t do much about that), but they have painted inside!
Best of all still non-​smoking — with covered area for smokers.

After a presentation from IBM at ULL, a bunch of my friends from class decided to come here and I figured I would join them. This place reminds me of what I pictured a bar to be in the ’80’s when I was still a kid. It has a few pool tables and is quite spacious.
For a place named Brewski’s, the beer list is BMC all the way. They did have Parish Canebrake and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I stuck to the Sierra Nevada, but due to the bartender’s reaction when I ordered it, I don’t believe he had ever heard of it before.
My friend Ken comes here often and kept telling me «You have to have a boudin burger, it’s the best thing about this place.» So I watched a few of my friends get them and decided I needed to order one myself. The boudin burger is amazing. It’s a huge burger stuffed with cheese and boudin in the patty.
You’re opinion of Brewski’s will likely depend on who you go with. I had a good time with my friends and the burger was excellent. The beer list isn’t the best, but it’s a decent place nonetheless.

Brewskis is right down from our house so we walk there which is good.
They have changed their menu and no longer offer baked potatoes which is very disappointing. There is a lot of fried food and burgers to choose from. I used to like their junior burger but they no longer offer that. all of their burgers are large 8oz. patties. they have 2 pool tables and the best part is that they are nonsmoking!!! They have good happy hours too.
