Other than the duck fat fries I had in San Fran(duck fat, I mean come on that’s not even fair) the absolute best fries I’ve eaten in my life! I knew I would be back time and time again when I tried the chicken curry fries at Gulf Brew two years ago. These are seriously great all-natural French fries with fab toppings. With the«food truck» craze in full swing here in Lafayette, there are some winners, and some losers. This truck is a winner. You have to check them out!

Fries that packs flavor! I tried Freetown at one of the food truck round up, and it was good. The people here were nice, and the service was good. We had the following: — Chicken curry fries: home cut fries covered with chicken curry topped with roasted cashews and cilantro; Pretty good if you’re into curry, but kind of got tired of the flavors quick, because it was overwhelming — Poo-Yie fries: home cut fries with beef roast gravy, white crumbly queso cheese, green onions and a dash of cayenne pepper; Great flavors and delicious — Loaded fries: delicious goodness, its like eating a baked potato, but better! — Crawfish Etouffry — crawfish étouffée over fries??? DON’T MINDIF I DO! I can’t wait to try the whole menu, but too bad they’re only out on Saturdays I believe.
