Taco Sister’s is so delicious. Well priced, vegan friendly. Love getting to eat outside or going through the convenient drive though. I’m not sure how they make their pulled pork burritos so savory but I’m very glad they do. The people that work there are lovely too

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Laffy(and I don’t have many). Fresh, quality ingredients. Delish!

I love this place. Everyone is friendly and the food is great. I love the salads and the smoked brisket Barrito! Parking sucks but it’s manageable and is to go anyway.

Great tacos! I ordered three thinking they would be regular size and shape paid a hefty $ 19 with additional toppings but that’s because they’re huge 1 taco would suffice most! Good selection of protein — mostly smoked but delicious and fresh.

Great tacos! With that being said why are we charging so much for a taco. It’s way over priced. I just can’t enjoy a taco when I am being charged so much.

Came here a day ago looking for some good tacos. Going through the reviews I expected better. First off beware, the parking is terrible. I made the mistake of parking in the lot which I was blocked in by cars going through the drive through. I’m not faulting the place as it’s a problem created by their own success, which didn’t impact this review at all. It’s all about the food. A quick note about ambience here too: This is the first time in the 2 weeks I’ve been here that i didn’t feel like I was in Louisiana. It felt like a corner of Portland: Ironic mustaches, younger college kids looking semi homeless, and bright colors, and signs that say vegan. The sitting area is simple benches which fit well with this small taco shack. Had a smoked fish burrito, no extra sauces with avocado and black beans. Maybe this is where I messed up because the person at the counter asked me about sauces and i did overhear others adding them. The flavor of the fish was good and smoky, however the combination of the cheese plus the black bean made it fairly dry. It was hard to find the avocado, and I thought the burrito was only black beans but I found refried in there as well, which is not what I asked for. It did add a welcome lardy flavor to it, but it still was a dry burrito. Value: For $ 11 with burrito and a drink, I could have done much better. I’m willing to give this place another try and go with something more traditional and add a sauce, but for now this isn’t on my list of must eats in the area.

Yearly trip to the Lafayette airport means yearly trip to Taco Sisters. This year got the brisket burrito with apples and cilantro. So good.

Interesting. By no means are they traditional tacos, but they were nonetheless tasty. Chips are not homemade but rather bagged, which was different. By the look of the place I was expecting traditional tacos but was pleasently surprised. I’ll go back. Burritos seem to be popular and given the size of the taco, both probably use the same soft shell.

This place is great, but it’s important to know beforehand that it’s either a drive-through or you pick up at the window seat outside. So while I love it, I would never recommend on a rainy day. That being said they really need versions of tacos whatever kind of meat you can imagine. Beef, pork, brisket, fish, and occasionally have other specials. I really love this place.

Love love love their pork tacos! Butttt, it’s very over priced! Their secret sauce is great but if you don’t ask for«light sauce» it is drowning in it. My boyfriend loves the lettuce/Apple mixture they put on the tacos. Wish their drinks were bigger. Great place over all. Need to get more affordable!!!

Yeah this was good. Very casual, no dining room but picnic tables. Really tasty ground beef taco and tuna taco with gluten free tortilla, however $ 1 extra charge for gf tortilla I thought was a bit steep. Nice people.

This place has good tacos with really fresh ingredients. All the meats are smoked, which makes them a little salty, but still good. The chopped apples are a brilliant add on and really give the tacos a sweet and fresh taste. Special sauce is good too. You can’t go wrong here. It’s fairly cheap too as long as you don’t spend too much extra on sides/drinks, etc. The tacos can make for a pretty messy lunch. I’ve never managed to eat one without getting completely drenched. But they sure are good.

Sorely needed in the flats, glad someone took the initiative to install Lafayette’s own version of tex-mex fusion. Very nice offerings including wild game and seafood galore. Moderately priced, decent servings, friendly staff, funky atmosphere and lovely sitting area — I usually make this a lunch stop to catch up with old friends when I visit my hometown. Are they the best tacos ever? no. Are they damn good? yes. Unlike the countless other one and done«Blah-blah-blah w/a TWIST!!!» openings, this was/is something wholly unique specializing in fresh and LOCAL ingredients, and from the looks of things they conduct business with a conscience. I applaud their efforts and wish them success, They’ve got a repeat business customer in me for the foreseeable future. Hope this helps.

Had work today in Scott, La. Went by at noon and got the Briscuit burrito and let me tell you it was great. Went thru the drive thru and it moved smoothly. Place was nice and easy to find. Price was very reasonable for the sizes. Had a shrimp taco also and it was seasoned spot on. Burrito or taco and you’ll be set.

I had the veggie burrito, which, in the wrong restaurant’s hands, can be pretty bland. But, here, it was so flavorful! I was almost tempted to order seconds. Fast, fresh, good sized portions, and decent prices. I have nothing but good things to say about this place!

I love Taco Sisters. More than love, really. More like an addiction. I pick up lunch here at least once a week, sometimes 2 or three days in a row. I admit it — i have a problem. Everything is good, although I stick with the tacos. The brisket taco is amazing, as is the shrimp, but the fish taco is my go to, my lunch soul mate. Smoked tuna? Heck yeah, and add some pico and avocado to round it out.(The fiesta summer salad is great too.) Fresh, fresh, fresh — and usually devoured before I get back to the office.

Their tacos are delicious. Very clean and light. Their fruits and vegetables are fresh. Their meats are well seasoned. They have an impressive selection of condiments. Tacos are good! Their hours are terrible – only for lunch?! Also their location poses as a road hazard by creating traffic on the major road, Johnston.

Fun, relaxing outdoor venue with a funky, cultural vibe. Unfortunately, the hours are a bit inconvenient! The place would be a definite regular for me if they were open on Sundays. The tacos can be a bit messy, so grab extra napkins and dress for the occasion. Also try their burritos – they are definitely fresher and higher quality than the other chain joints in town.

Friendly, helpful and fast! It’s a refreshing change with a healthy light lunch compared to most places in south Louisiana. Though I would have preferred the tuna grilled rather than smoked; maybe next time I’ll try the shrimp instead.

Mmmm — this place is LEGIT. The quality of all ingredients is very apparent, the burritos are mammoth, the tacos are perfect(apple chunks in tacos = YES), the outdoor seating is adorable, the service is top-notch & the location is conveniently close to the downtown area(for festivals & such). My faves are the veggie taco & the smoked fish taco. Someone with a modest appetite could easily stretch 1 burrito into 2 meals. The salads are a bit pricey, but you’re paying for good quality. The chicken taco is not my favorite, but is still pretty darn good. My advice would be to miss the insane lunch rush by getting there right at 11a or by waiting until things calm down a little at 1-ish. Otherwise, wait time may be a little crazy & parking may be quite a challenge. Feel free to bring your dog & lounge in the grassy area while waiting for your food to be ready.
