The prices are great, the location is great for me, supplies are fresh. Since moving to Colorado the best beers I’ve ever made were in the recipe book that they keep on site. George seems like a really nice guy who is helpful and they usually have some good tunes on at the store while I stare at all the cool gear.

Lafayette Homebrew is a great resource for supplies, equipment and information. I am very impressed with the selection of grain, yeast and hops, and have always found what I needed there. George, the owner, is very knowledgeable and friendly, and willing to help with any questions you might have. Prices are very good on everything I have bought, when frankly I would pay a little extra just to have this resource in town.

This store is fantastic! It is clean, well organized, and always has everything I need to make a great beer. Most importantly, George, the owner, is nice, knowledgeable, and always helpful.
I started my brew hobby by taking a class from George and it was the perfect jump start to my new hobby. We are lucky to have this place in our area.

Boulder County has needed a shop like this for years.
I wanted to make a clone but the only recipe I could find was an all grain. George helped me convert it to a malt extract recipe while we discussed the pros and cons and he punched it into BeerSmith. It turned out great. I really appreciate the time it took to get a recipe I wanted. I wished this shop had been around when I was first starting out — I would have saved myself a lot of time and money.
This is the homebrew store you always expected the home of Charlie Papazian and the American Homebrewers Association to actually have.

Lafayette Homebrew Supply is the only place any home brewer around the Boulder/​Lafayette area will ever need. Just visit their store and meet the owners and you’ll understand why you will want to do business with them. Good people with a good idea and good intentions will always get my business.
They’re a new shop so check them out, you”ll be pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and especially the home brewing knowledge of the owner.
