The Family Electrician
I was referred to Kirk Allen by Rick Hanson (aka Handyman Rick) who referred to him as the «Best in the Business». I’ll have to say that he’s probably right.
Kirk rewired the attic of my 1920s Albany home. Kirk joked that he had both the genius and stupidity to work with knob and tube. As with other things in older houses, we found a few «surprises» and the original estimate went up. However, he kept things under control and I think did an excellent job. I even ended up with a few extras for the money.
Kirk is dependable and a straight shooter and knows when code needs to be enforced and when (legally) there’s flexibility. I would use Kirk again without hesitation.
