Great beer, no denying that, but sadly the service leaves a lot to be desired. We stopped by at 10 on a Friday night and while I understand that they have a «hard close» at 11, stacking chairs and putting away glasses an hour before closing is not a great way to make guests feel welcome. Beyond their none-too-subtle desire to kick all their customers out and go home, the staff ranged from surly to indifferent. Such a disappointment that a much needed neighborhood place like this would treat their customers so poorly. And particularly when their beer is so good! But I’ll have a slightly lesser beer at a place at which I’m made to feel welcome, thanks.

This is the local spot I like to come and grab a beer, the crew here are always friendly and fun, «which can be hard to do in this business, at least it seems in this area for some reason.» There is almost always a food truck outside for you to add on with your great beer selection. I suggest you check it out!

This place is great! Great beer, service, and food trucks. This is THE go to brewery around, not to be missed.

This place is my up north Colorado spot, whenever I drive up that way I make sure and stop by. That’s how much I love it! The IPA’s are hopped and refreshing. The service is great and there’s always a delicious food truck parked right outside that can feed the beast within. Really though, if you love beer this place is worth stopping in. They also allow pups on the large balcony so that’s good for the pups.

I’m not a huge beer fan, but I still had a great time here last night. They have root beer for the kids and people like me! So the husband can drink all the beer he wants and I still get to feel included. They have food trucks out front and games inside! We played Uno and Connect Four while we sat at the bar. Fun place, seems kid friendly too.

I really liked this place. Entered in a fairly crappy mood and left with a smile on my face so that in itself is a testament from a confessed beer-snob. They know how to treat you at LM. They are knowledgable and helpful, but have a keen sense of when to back off certain customers. Both times we have been there, we have left in an almost elated mood. I know, alcohol. But that’s not it. There is something that makes this place chill in a way others can only hint at. No big works of art, nothing crazy in terms of architecture, and a location that doesn’t really stand out. But go have one beer and sit outside(weather permitting), and if you don’t feel it, then my bad! All I know is one of their IPA’s(great saison for the women-folk) and some wings from the truck and my day was looking great! Keep it up LMBC!

Very clean bar. They have a great layout inside and outside with food trucks available. They have root beer or water for non drinkers. Trivia on Wednesdays.

Just a one year later update… these guys remain my go-to taproom. It’s so great to be able to take our puppy here and have a cold one on the patio-lots of shady spots and they provide water bowls for your pup. Their beers continue to evolve and they’re constantly making new concoctions in addition to their standards-all very tasty. The Kolsch is one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff is particularly awesome. I see the same folks each time and they always remember me and catch up. This is a great neighborhood spot AND a great tap room with excellent beer.

I love the name of this place. Too bad I didn’t really like the beers. Oh well. Just not in my taste zone is all. Several others had a great time and loved what they tried. I give 2 stars for effort and because others like them.

Yesterday was the third time I’ve had the pleasure of hanging out at Liquid Mechanics, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed myself every time. They usually have a food truck, and there has been live music two of the three times I was there. They have a nice patio, with a bags set up, and they have lots of boardgames to choose from. Now, for the important part — the beer. The Kolsh is amazing, one of the best I’ve had outside of Germany. The Session IPA has a solid amount of flavor, but you can sit out on that patio during a hot summer day and still enjoy it. I’m also a big fan of the Belgian double IPA and the Imperial Porter. I was surprise to see that they still serve high ABV beers in a pint sized glass for the same amount as the other beers, I got the Belgian I mentioned above(8.6% I believe) — 16oz for $ 5. Not too shabby. I’ve always really liked all the employees here, it’s always clean, it’s family friendly — including dogs and it’s usually pretty packed with people if you’re wanting to meet some new friends. Go check it out sometime.

Discovered this brewery while at a beer festival and had to make a pilgrimage to sample the beer on site. They did not let me down with a fantastic environment, quality beers both regular and seasonal, nice food truck on site, and friendly helpful service. We definitely will ale the 40 min drive back to visit as this brewery has it all. A must visit for any craft brew fan and third merchandise and logos are second to none in variety and creativity.

I’m a big fan of this local brewery. It could be because of the awesome bartender(Hi, Mike!) and the friendly owners who will gladly take you on a tour. Or maybe it’s the variety of beers that cycle in and out or Geeks Who Drink trivia(currently at 7pm on Wednesdays). Any way you look at it, this is another great add to the spate of local breweries that have popped up in the last five years. It’s a very laid back atmosphere; while groups of adults are the norm, it’s not uncommon to see a few kids in the place. And oddly, it’s not an issue. They have a few regular beers and they experiment with different new types regularly. You can try unusual offerings from small barrels, like a tequila lime kolsch or a peanut butter porter. I’m hoping they experiment with more sours in the future(hint!) because I like how different they are(the more sour and funky, the better, IMHO). They have a nice patio and cornhole(bags? geez, either way, it sounds dirty!) game set out there. Mostly, though, it’s the people that make this place. They are local and friendly. And if you come on a Friday or Saturday night, you’ll probably see some live local musicians playing to a crowd. Don’t forget to check out one of the nightly food trucks, usually with something for everyone. I’m a pescetarian(mostly vegetarian with some fish thrown here and there) and I usually find something I can nosh on. I’ll definitely be coming back here in the future and maybe I’ll say hi if you’re here, too.

Consistently great beer. They are really finding their groove. The regular beers are distinct and solid. The special and collaboration beers have been great. Great atmosphere. Absolutely a must stop on any beer tour in the Front Range and awesome for regulars as well.

I went to Liquid Mechanics for two of my favorite things: trivia and craft beer. There are few things I enjoy more than a good trivia night and a great local beer, so it’s no surprise that I found my self here on a recent Wednesday evenings. The space is great — fairly open, with long tables and a patio that I definitely plan on using once the weather is warmer. They incorporate a lot of interesting elements into their décor, and I think it works well for them. The beer list is displayed on a television over the bar, which is where you place your orders. The beers were delicious! I tried the saison and a dunkel hefeweisen. Both were true to their styles — nothing exceptional, but something I’d definitely drink again! My boyfriend ordered a red ale and an IPA, both of which were really tasty, although not my preferred style. The disappointment of the night was in the customer service. The guy who poured our first beers was great — but the guy we interacted with afterward(long, braided hair — didn’t catch his name) was not the best. When it was time to close our tab, I found that we were charged for a beer that neither myself nor my boyfriend ordered. When I asked the bartender about it, he was very insistent that we did order this beer. He seemed to think he couldn’t be wrong, insisting that the only way it’d end up on our tab is if someone ordered it on our tab(wrong). I finally convinced him that we did not order this beer — or perhaps he just gave up — he grabbed my card, huffed off to correct the transaction, and essentially threw the corrected receipt at me. I’d understand his frustration and attitude if it was an incredibly busy night, or if I was causing a scene, or maybe if I was incredibly intoxicated. But none of those things were a factor, and it left a bad taste in my mouth at the end of what was overall an enjoyable experience.

They brew the best Kolsh I ever had in the US. And I don’t even really like Kolshes(well I didnt until now). I also liked their porter and their stout. Yum on both accounts. Gorgeous tap room, and super friendly staff. Oh and when you go, check out their stacked brew tanks. It’s just something you don’t see often. Prost!

Found this place on the way to Longmont for a brew tour. Hit it on the way home. Good beer, nice patio, but a little loud because of traffic. I would give it 4 stars, but the patio had about 5 or 6 unattended kids just running around. Eventually, a parent came out and told them to settle down, but of course, they didn’t. Almost spilled a beer!

Stopped into this new brewery to see what they had to offer. They had the following beers on tap to try out: German Kolsch Belgian Patrrsbier Hefeweizen Saison Colorado Red Ale Belgian IPA Small Batch: Chipotle Lime Blonde Robust Porter Palisade Peach Saison(Were sold out of this one because of the peach festival the week before) They open at 2 during the week so that is another nice bonus. Plenty of room and it has a pretty relaxed atmosphere. Open at noon on the weekends. I tried the Saison, Belgian IPA, chipotle lime blonde, and the red. The Chipotle lime was different, but not bad. I am saving a higher rating for when I can come back and try a few more of their beers. Definitely worth a trip in to check it out!
