Janine is fantastic! I had been searching for a new stylist after moving to the area. My hair was very overgrown (about 1 year) and I was worried she would have a hard time figuring out what style it was cut in previously. She totally nailed it though! Its so rare to get a perfect haircut the first time with a new stylist, but she is very skilled and really listened and observed closely. I love that she’s not your typical gossipy hairdresser. She’s just your average laid back, intelligent, and very cool person.

Best experience ever! I had Kim (very sweet) do my hair, I am very picky when it comes to cutting my hair… she did exactly what I asked! My daughter had hers done too, we both had color and highlights/​lowlights, I can’t rave enough how pleased we both are! Thank you Kim, you will be seeing us again, and I will be referring you to my friends and family!

Just had my second Brazilian Blowout! The first one lasted over 2.5 months. Kim (who works with Janine) did a fantastic job! I’m thrilled and highly recommend this salon. I don’t know about you but when I have my hair done I want to completely relax so I appreciate a salon that has great ambiance and this one has it in spades.

I don’t write many reviews but believe this is well needed & well deserved! I just moved to California 4 months ago and have yet to trust anyone with my hair. I guess us Asians can be picky! & I’ve been so spoiled back home. Janine was able to fit me in to accommodate my birthday month and she did such a wonderful job!!! I came in my gym clothes ready to go work out afterwards but she washed, conditioned, massaged, curled and styled my hair (beyond anything I was expecting) and I didn’t make it to the gym afterwards! Let’s just say I didn’t want to mess up perfect hair! She knew exactly how to give me what I wanted & fix my layers! Big plus in my book! She is very skilled & efficient!!! Love love love my hair & her and did I mention she is reasonably priced in Lafayette! She is my new go to person!

Janine is so terrific at what she does! She takes the time to talk with me about what I want before we get started so I know she’s focused on me and not just on automatic pilot. She’s confident and knows what she’s doing. She’s kind and funny and ooohhh that neck massage just after washing your hair… delightful! Her space is always warm and welcoming and has an ambiance that makes you feel special. She definitely gives more than a haircut, she gives you an experience.

Janine is the Messiah of hair!!!
Her knowledge of hair, chemicals in hair, treating hair, washing hair, caring for hair, and coloring and styling etc. etc…, the list continues is spot on. She has done her homework! Janine attends trade shows a couple times a year to bring new, fresh ideas and products to her clients. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair, and when I am fortunate to have my appointment I get compliments all day long.
She is fabulous. The salon is a great «indulgence» just like the name. It’s cute and modern; there is coffee, wine, and soda always available for us during our appointments. It’s a hidden little gem! I never feel rushed, and sometimes I can be one of those annoying clients, that changes my mind ½ way through the styling and tells her I want something else, NO PROBLEM, NO WORRIES. She just handles it like a true professional who cares about her clients being happy!
I have referred over 15 people to these lovely stylist and true hair wizard and everyone continues to thank me for sharing the secret to my hair.

Love Janine! I’ve been going to her for years… Seriously the only person i trust to cut my hair. She will not chop off your hair like every stylist LOVES to do… soo annoying! She has a very cute salon. Its kind of hidden. Located on the street level but all the way in the back. She is the only stylist and its small but roomy. Very trendy and boutique like ambiance.
Janine is very easy to talk to and is very hospitable she always has water, coffee and tea for her clients. She is very honest about what will or will not work with your hair to ensure that you’ll be happy with your results.
